After finishing their morning routines, the two went outside for breakfast.

After breakfast, Yang Qingyin went to school for her classes, while Luo Ziling returned to Ling Ruonan’s residence.

When they parted, Yang Qingyin told Luo Ziling that if Ling Ruonan wanted to ask her something in person, she’d come over.

"Alright, if my mom wants to talk to you in person, I’ll have Wang Zhenjun come to pick you up," Luo Ziling agreed.

After sending Yang Qingyin to school, Luo Ziling took the car driven by Wang Zhenjun back to Ling Ruonan’s villa.

When Luo Ziling entered the house, Ling Ruonan was discussing something with Wuyue. Upon seeing him enter, they immediately paused their conversation.

After Luo Ziling sat down, he recounted almost everything that Yang Qingyin had told him the previous night to Ling Ruonan and Wuyue.

Ling Ruonan was naturally surprised upon hearing this.

"Could it really be like this?" she looked at Luo Ziling in disbelief, "Yesterday’s incident was Yang Yunzhong’s trickery behind the scenes."

Since Yang Yunzhong was hospitalized after his injury last time, Ling Ruonan had been following news about him.

Yang Yunzhong’s injuries hadn’t fully healed; he was still in the hospital, though he was no longer in critical condition.

Ling Ruonan never imagined that someone still lying bedridden could orchestrate such a thing.

She also never expected Yang Qingyin to bribe someone close to Yang Yunzhong.

"I really underestimated her," Ling Ruonan commented in front of Luo Ziling.

"Miss, if things are truly like this, then it’s completely understandable," Wuyue, after thinking seriously, said softly to Ling Ruonan: "Yesterday, those who stopped the young master from rescuing people were merely small players in this drama. Chen Jiahu wasn’t aware of the situation; he was simply being used. That’s why he was so angry when we went over."

"The key now is to find the person who drugged Wang Qing’s drink and get their confession." Ling Ruonan pointed out the critical point, "If we can find this person, the situation will be easier to understand. Also, we need to have a chat with Chen Jiahu about this. If it truly is a misunderstanding, we need to clarify it, at least to prevent being exploited by others and avoid stirring up conflict with the Chen Family."

"Mom, how about we take responsibility for finding the person who drugged, and let Ouyang Feifei handle the explanation part? After all, they have cooperation,"

Ling Ruonan nodded, acknowledging Luo Ziling’s suggestion.

Wang Qing was still asleep here, deeply asleep and hadn’t yet awakened. Wuyue planned to get the list of attendees at last night’s party from her.

The most likely candidates for having drugged Wang Qing’s drinks were those people attending the party, with a smaller possibility being the hotel staff.

All three believed in Wang Qing’s astuteness, confident she would provide useful clues.

Ling Ruonan called Ouyang Feifei, asking if she was available this morning; if so, to come over and see Wang Qing.

Ouyang Feifei, knowing Ling Ruonan needed her, immediately agreed, saying she’d come over shortly.

While Ling Ruonan was on the phone with Ouyang Feifei, Luo Ziling walked into the guest room where Wang Qing was sleeping, first massaging a few acupoints before waking her. Wang Qing awoke with a bewildered face, becoming slightly panicked upon seeing Luo Ziling by her bedside.

Looking again, she realized she wasn’t wearing any clothes and assumed she’d been forced by Luo Ziling, letting out a startling scream.

Fortunately, Ling Ruonan also entered just then.

After her explanation, it dawned on Wang Qing what had happened.

After sincerely apologizing, she also expressed her gratitude to Luo Ziling.

Since Wang Qing had been unconscious the previous night, the exact sequence of events wasn’t entirely clear to everyone.

"What exactly happened last night? Can you tell us!" Seeing that Wang Qing was clearly cognizant upon waking, Luo Ziling prepared to ask about the matter.

"Let’s not rush," Ling Ruonan smiled at Luo Ziling, then speaking to Wang Qing: "Get up and freshen up first, have some breakfast, then you can tell us the sequence of events from last night."

"Okay," Wang Qing agreed.

"I just checked you over, your pulse and other conditions have mostly returned to normal. A couple more days of rest and taking the medicine I gave you should certainly clear things up," Luo Ziling said, before stepping out.

When he left the room, Wuyue was still waiting outside.

"Young master, what do you think is the most likely scenario for last night’s incident?" Wuyue quietly asked Luo Ziling.

Luo Ziling relayed his established judgment: "Someone planted by Yang Yunzhong drugged her drink during a dinner meeting between Chen Jiahu and Wang Qing while discussing cooperation, to provoke a direct conflict between us and the Chen Family. Yang Yunzhong has realized that our enmity with the Chen Family deepens because of the Chen Jiahai incident, intending to exploit the Chen Family’s rise against us to make life more difficult, perhaps even eliminating the threat once and for all. When two tigers fight, one is bound to be injured, right? They might even drag Yang Yunlin into this."

"Could there be other possibilities?" Wuyue asked again.

After considering, Luo Ziling added, "It could be a tactic by the Chen Family, or maybe Chen Jiahai recklessly trying to provoke a direct conflict with me. But if he does, his target isn’t Wang Qing, but Ouyang Feifei."

"Let’s first hear what Wang Qing has to say, we can discuss further after,"

Wuyue nodded.

Approximately twenty minutes later, Wang Qing freshened up and came out with Ling Ruonan.

Ling Ruonan instructed Wuyue to bring Wang Qing milk and bread.

After Wuyue brought the milk and bread, Wang Qing thanked him, then slowly began eating.

Without waiting for Ling Ruonan’s inquiry, she started recounting the events from last night.

Last night, Chen Jiahu originally planned to meet with Ouyang Feifei to discuss some matters, but since Ouyang Feifei had to wait for Luo Ziling, she didn’t go, sending Wang Qing instead. After discussing some issues, they planned to have dinner together.

A few of Chen Jiahai’s friends, both male and female, joined in a private dining room for dinner.

During dinner, there was nothing out of the ordinary in their expressions.

Wang Qing, who generally doesn’t talk much, calmly sat there, though she knew how to handle social situations without appearing distant.

Initially, she didn’t drink, only had tea, which was served by a waiter. Later, when Chen Jiahu invited her for a drink, she had no choice but to have some red wine.

The wine was also poured by a waiter, and after drinking red wine offered by a female companion brought by one of Chen Jiahai’s friends, Wang Qing felt uneasy and excused herself to the restroom, to call for help from Yang Xiaodong.

She knew that in such circumstances, the fastest person to reach the scene wouldn’t be her subordinates, but Yang Xiaodong.

As for what happened outside after she went to the restroom, Wang Qing wasn’t aware, nor did she remember what happened later.

"It seems the most likely person who drugged her drink was the waiter," Luo Ziling promptly concluded.

But he also knew that if it were indeed the waiter who drugged her, tracking down the perpetrator could be quite troublesome.
