After parting with Fang Dongxun, Luo Ziling was ready to take Luo Yuqing home.

He promised Luo Yuqing that he would treat her to dinner tonight, but not at a restaurant; he would cook for her instead.

Upon hearing this, Luo Yuqing was immediately overjoyed, and her slight worry that Ling Ruonan might not welcome them evaporated instantly.

When leaving the hotel, Luo Ziling was surprised to see that Wang Zhenjun, who had disappeared for a few days, was actually waiting outside.

"Hehe, I’m back, came to pick you guys up," Wang Zhenjun said to Luo Ziling with a smug face as he emerged from the car, upon noticing Luo Ziling’s surprised look: "From now on, we’ll both be by your side."

Luo Ziling gave Wang Zhenjun a firm pat on the shoulder and then laughed: "Alright, first take me to the market!"

"The market?" Wang Zhenjun was instantly confused.

"Gotta get home early, I need to cook dinner for my mom and my sister."

"Heh," Wang Zhenjun laughed dryly, "I see, let’s go then!"

However, Wang Zhenjun’s dry laughter managed to irritate Luo Ziling, who made him his bag-carrier for grocery shopping.

Luo Ziling was in charge of picking and paying for the groceries, and the rest was up to Wang Zhenjun.

Luo Yuqing, who could be considered a pampered young lady that had never soiled her hands for trivial matters, was experiencing the market for the first time in her life.

"If not, one can always learn. I know how to cook, but I don’t have to be the one to do it. Look, even my mom, who is such a personage, often cooks, so why not others?" Luo Ziling looked at Luo Yuqing with disdain, "Also, what did you call me just now? Junior? Weren’t you the one who forbade me from calling you ’senior’? How should you be punished for calling me that?"

Luo Yuqing quickly admitted her mistake, "I’ll assist you in a bit, how’s that for a deal?"

"Help me massage my back!"

After buying the groceries and returning to the villa, Luo Ziling immediately asked Luo Yuqing to fulfill her promise.

While massaging Luo Ziling’s back, Luo Yuqing also shared some details of today’s negotiations.

Since they got back early, Luo Ziling wasn’t in a hurry to cook dinner but instead took Luo Yuqing out to the yard for a snowball fight and to build a snowman.

The snow was still falling, accumulating thickly on the ground, and some of the flowers and trees in the yard were at risk of being broken by the weight.

As Luo Ziling was clearing the snow off the plants, he also took the opportunity to pick on Luo Yuqing, battering her into a sorry state.

After being hit countless times by snowballs thrown by Luo Ziling, a frustrated and embarrassed Luo Yuqing pounced on him and bit him hard twice to vent her anger. After getting even, she cheerfully joined Luo Ziling again in building a snowman. They made a large snowman on the path using the garden’s snow and decorated it nicely, feeling quite satisfied after.

Once they finished the snowman, she pulled Luo Ziling to take photos and post them on social media, and she even uploaded a photo of them hugging each other intimately, causing a stir among her friends. She didn’t bother explaining and let everyone guess.

When Ling Ruonan came back, Luo Ziling and Luo Yuqing were still playing in the courtyard, putting the final decorations on the big snowman.

Ling Ruonan returned home early, which caught Luo Ziling by surprise.

What surprised him even more was that Ouyang Feifei actually came back with Ling Ruonan.

Seeing Luo Ziling and Luo Yuqing playing in the courtyard, Ling Ruonan approached them with an expressionless face and only then did she gently ask, "I heard that you were accidentally hurt by Feifei."

"Under my own wonderful treatment, I’m already fine," Luo Ziling chuckled, and even shot Ouyang Feifei a glare.

Ouyang Feifei rolled her eyes in return and ignored Luo Ziling.

She was quite angry inside.

Luo Ziling’s behavior that morning had scared her quite a bit.

Worried that Luo Ziling might really end up disabled, Ouyang Feifei had even taken the initiative to find Ling Ruonan and explain the situation.

Frightened, Ling Ruonan hurriedly called Luo Ziling.

But Luo Ziling, who was busy making a snowman and having a snowball fight, didn’t hear his cell phone ringing, so Ling Ruonan had to come back early.

On the way back, Ouyang Feifei was just as anxious as Ling Ruonan, but upon seeing Luo Ziling playing with snow in the courtyard, their worries immediately dissipated. Seeing how happy Luo Ziling and Luo Yuqing were playing, yet having been scared by him, Ouyang Feifei really felt like kicking Luo Ziling again.

"Glad to hear you’re fine!" Seeing Luo Ziling like this and hearing him say he’s fine, Ling Ruonan naturally breathed a sigh of relief.

Luo Ziling still didn’t pay much attention to Ouyang Feifei, and only spoke to Ling Ruonan, "Mom, I also bought some groceries, planning to cook dinner for you and Yuqing tonight. I was planning to start cooking after finishing the snowman, I didn’t expect you to come back so early."

"You even went shopping for groceries?" Ling Ruonan was even more surprised.

Seeing that Luo Ziling was just being polite and not really insisting on her staying, Ouyang Feifei felt even more uncomfortable.

"Let’s eat together," Luo Yuqing held Ouyang Feifei’s arm, "Today, Dongxun and I went to negotiate a cooperation with Qingniao Media and fortunately, we succeeded. I was just thinking of reporting to Mrs. Ling and Miss Ouyang."

"Come in!" Ling Ruonan said gently to Ouyang Feifei.

Ouyang Feifei did not insist any longer and followed Ling Ruonan into the house.

When they entered the house, Luo Ziling was already getting busy in the kitchen.

"Ladies, you chat outside, I’ll prepare dinner for you," Luo Ziling said with a chuckle, and joking with Luo Yuqing and Ouyang Feifei: "If you two want to learn how to cook, or just want to see how I do it, you’re welcome to observe in the kitchen, no entrance fee charged."

"Who would care to watch you!" Ouyang Feifei retorted somewhat angrily.

"Mom, why don’t you and Yuqing chat for a bit? I’ll have Feifei help me wash the veggies," Luo Ziling said, playfully grabbing Ouyang Feifei’s hand and, ignoring her struggling, pulled her straight into the kitchen.

Ling Ruonan simply watched everything with a smile without intervening.
