Chapter 646: Chapter 646: Do People in the Martial Alliance Like to Beat Around the Bush?_1
After a moment of silence, Wang Hu still made the call to He Shan.
"Young Master He, have you seen that video?"
He Shan glanced at the video still playing beside him and replied coldly, "I’ve seen it. You actually got beat up by that kid like that. Why the hell are you calling me?"
Wang Hu cursed inside his head. If it hadn’t been for your stupid ass not explaining things clearly, would he have been beaten so miserably?
However, he managed to suppress the fury in his heart and gritted his teeth, "Young Master He, don’t worry. I still have a way to deal with that kid!"
"Speak."
"I know an expert from the Martial Alliance. As long as I can get him to move, suppressing that kid will be as easy as flipping my hand!"
"Good, I’ll pay whatever it costs, as long as you take care of that bastard!" He Shan agreed without hesitation.
Nowadays, Ning Fan was a thorn in his side. As long as it wasn’t removed, he couldn’t rest easy.
Wang Hu felt the same way.
Having lost face because of Ning Fan, he had to find a way to salvage his reputation!
...
Martial Alliance.
This place gathered most of the martial arts experts from Capital City, and among the many powers in the Capital City, it was considered a formidable presence.
Sun Hongqi suddenly received a call from Wang Hu.
"Old Wang, you sure took a beating today, eh? You had a chance to join the upper management of the Martial Alliance, and with the face you’ve lost today, I’m afraid you’ll not be getting in for a few years."
As soon as he picked up the phone, Sun Hongqi began to tease him.
The two had gotten to know each other because of Wang Hu’s ambition to enter the upper echelons of the Martial Alliance, and they had a fairly good relationship in private.
Wang Hu cursed this asshole for bringing up the sore point but still forcibly suppressed his anger and said, "I’m calling you about this. The trouble I got into with that kid was because of He Shan."
He then thoroughly explained the deal he had with He Shan to Sun Hongqi.
"Now both He Shan and I can’t swallow this affront, so I want to ask for your help in dealing with that kid."
"As long as you can take care of him, you can name your price!"
Wang Hu already had a considerable amount of funds, and with He Shan’s support, he was feeling particularly wealthy and bold.
"Any price is possible?" Sun Hongqi asked tentatively.
"Any price!"
Sun Hongqi was somewhat tempted.
Although he was part of the Martial Alliance and received a monthly stipend,
the higher the cultivation realm, the more vast the resources needed.
Especially at the Grandmaster Realm, one either had to get by on bitter cultivation day by day or rely on precious treasures.
He wasn’t particularly moved by wealth, but the treasures that Wang Hu and He Shan had were of great use to him.
"Alright, then I want the spiritual medicine from you and He Shan." Sun Hongqi hesitated for less than thirty seconds before he stated his condition, naming the price for two stalks of spiritual medicine.
With these two stalks of spiritual medicine, he would be able to break through from a Fifth Grade Grandmaster to a Sixth Grade.
Wang Hu hesitated but after communicating with He Shan on another phone, he agreed.
After setting a time with Sun Hongqi, Wang Hu hung up the phone, a trace of pain on his face.
Those spiritual medicines were extremely precious and were originally reserved for himself, but to deal with Ning Fan, he had no choice but to part with them.
Before long, Sun Hongqi arrived at Wang Hu’s territory, and the group set out once more.
Following the location reported by the underlings, they quickly found Ning Fan and saw him sitting by the roadside.
Seeing them arriving, Ning Fan stood up, patted the dust off his body, and said indifferently, "You’ve finally arrived."
He had sensed that many people were watching him all along the way, so he simply found a place to sit and wait.
"Kid, don’t be so arrogant. Beating me doesn’t mean anything. This guy is a high-level expert from the Martial Alliance. This time you’re done for!" Wang Hu shouted.
Sun Hongqi had an arrogant countenance, with his hands clasped behind his back, appearing like a true master.
But upon seeing Ning Fan, he felt a vague sense of familiarity and took a second glance.
Had he seen this guy somewhere before?
Before he could think further, Ning Fan spoke again, "So, is this guy also hired by He Shan?"
"Kid, you’d best surrender without a fight. Don’t make it harder for me to get the spiritual medicine," Sun Hongqi said coldly.
"I see, that’s quite the lavish expenditure to hire you, even using spiritual medicine," Ning Fan remarked, raising one eyebrow.
Sun Hongqi laughed scornfully, "You’re overthinking it. It’s not that you’re worth that much, but rather the minimum price for asking me to take action is just that."
"I’m in a good mood today, so I’ll give you a chance. Cripple your own limbs and come with me to meet Young Master He, otherwise you’re going to suffer a lot more," he said.
Ning Fan smiled faintly and beckoned, "Do all of you from the Martial Alliance like to beat around the bush so much?"
Upon hearing this, a hint of anger flashed across Sun Hongqi’s face, "Insolent fool, to be so arrogant, you have no idea of the heights of the heavens and the depths of the earth!"
As his words fell, Sun Hongqi moved and instantly appeared in front of Ning Fan, throwing a heavy punch straight at Ning Fan’s face.
Ning Fan looked indifferent, raising his hand to meet the punch.
Bang!
As the punches collided, Ning Fan stood unmoved, like an old tree with deep roots, while Sun Hongqi’s figure swayed slightly.
"No wonder Wang Hu was defeated by you. I didn’t expect you to have also reached the Master Realm. What grade of Grandmaster are you?"
Sun Hongqi was initially shocked, then thinking he had seen through everything, casually asked.
"To block my casual punch, you must be strong. You should at least be a Second Rank Grandmaster, or even at the level of a Third-Grade Grandmaster."
"But if you think that makes you my opponent, then you are delusively wishful."
Thinking thus, Sun Hongqi’s eyes flickered, and he suddenly said, "Kid, if you’re willing to submit to me, I can mediate between you and Young Master He, turning conflict into harmony."
