Chapter 624: Chapter 624 I Can Kill Too_1

"Interesting, I’d like to see how many more you can block," the Ice and Snow Goddess said after a brief moment of shock, raising her slender fingers again as several gusts of cold breath whistled out from her fingertips.

Huo Erba showed no fear, raising his fists and charging forward.

Bang bang bang!

One after another, the cold breaths shattered under his mighty blows, seemingly giving him the upper hand, yet his breathing fluctuated.

As the cold breaths continued to increase, the golden light around Huo Erba’s body began to flicker, and his breathing grew more rapid.

Boom!

After another punch shattered the cold breath, Huo Erba had no time to turn around before he heard another whistling sound of rushing air behind him.

"Hehe... after all, you’re just a mortal," sneered the Ice and Snow Goddess as the cold breath headed straight for Huo Erba’s heart. If it hit, Huo Erba’s blood would immediately freeze solid, turning him into an ice sculpture.

Just then, Ning Fan stepped forward and, with an expressionless wave of his hand, easily deflected the cold breath.

"You go protect Miss Xu," he ordered without turning his head.

Huo Erba, with a resentful look on his face, glanced at the Ice and Snow Goddess a few times before staggering back to Xu Yourong’s side.

"Mortal, it seems you’re the strongest among them," the Ice and Snow Goddess said, reclining on the Ice Snow Throne with her right hand propping up her chin, seemingly intrigued, "You’re the strongest human I’ve ever seen."

"Is that so?" Ning Fan gave a cold laugh, "Then you’ve seen too little."

The Ice and Snow Goddess’s face stiffened, and then she said coldly, "Mortal, this deity can give you a chance to submit. Offer your soul to me now, become this deity’s follower, and I shall grant you eternal life."

The strength that Ning Fan exhibited had made the Ice and Snow Goddess consider sparing his talent.

After all, servants are easy to find, but powerful beings like Ning Fan are rare.

If she could make Ning Fan a follower of hers, given time, she might gain another powerful being akin to a deity.

By that time, if she were to go into battle, it would be like two deities joining forces, and what deity could then stand against her?

Deities were not at peace with one another either. If she could defeat another deity and absorb their Divine Power, her own power would grow significantly.

Upon hearing her words, Ning Fan lowered his head slightly and asked with interest, "Eternal life... do you deities never die?"

"Of course, we are the supreme beings, transcending everything in this world," the Ice and Snow Goddess stated as if it were obvious.

Ning Fan raised an eyebrow, his lips curving into a mocking smile, "But didn’t I hear that Xia Country is the forbidden zone of you deities, Divine’s Forbidden Zone?"

At these words, the Ice and Snow Goddess’s pupils shrank, her face changed dramatically, and she stood up abruptly from the Ice Snow Throne.

"Who told you that?!"

She had dared to brazenly enter Xia Country because her ice and snow powers allowed her to conceal her presence.

But Ning Fan mentioning the true nature of Divine’s Forbidden Zone disrupted her calm.

This heated reaction only confirmed Ning Fan’s suspicions.

He flexed his palms and slowly approached the Ice Snow Throne.

"At first, I had my doubts about whether what that guy said was true, but now, seeing your reaction... I’m certain that you are not immortal."

"In Divine’s Forbidden Zone, something exists that can kill you, that’s why you’re so afraid."

The Ice and Snow Goddess stared intently at Ning Fan, her teeth clenched, "What... do you know?"

Ning Fan spread his hands.

"I know nothing, but since there are things that can kill you..."

He looked up at the Ice and Snow Goddess with a smile, his white teeth dazzling in the sunlight.

"Then I can kill too!"

Upon hearing this, the Ice and Snow Goddess was first taken aback, and then she burst out laughing as if it was the funniest joke in the world.

"Mortal, you really are amusing. It’s the first time this deity has met such an entertaining mortal!"

After laughing for a while, the Ice and Snow Goddess finally stopped and sat back on the Ice Snow Throne, looking down upon Ning Fan from her lofty position.

"Mortal, while I don’t know where you heard about Divine’s Forbidden Zone, you’re obviously mistaken," she said.

"Even if this place was once Divine’s Forbidden Zone, there’s nothing here now that can kill us."

"Submit to this deity obediently, and I can help you break through the shackles of your strength and experience a powerful realm that mortals cannot touch."

As she spoke, the Ice and Snow Goddess inwardly cursed to herself.

She had almost been bluffed by a mortal!

What of Divine’s Forbidden Zone?

That was just a title from many years ago; even if this place was still Divine’s Forbidden Zone, could there still be anything that threatened her?

Ning Fan tilted his head slightly, a frown on his brow, "So you don’t believe what I said?"

"Believe what..."

The Ice and Snow Goddess hadn’t finished her sentence when she saw Ning Fan crouch slightly, gathering his right fist at his waist as the robust Spiritual Power circulated within him.

"Are you underestimating the power of this deity, you damned ant?"

"It seems I need to show you what true Divine Power is!"

Seeing Ning Fan preparing to make the first move, the Ice and Snow Goddess felt insulted and decided it was time to teach Ning Fan a lesson.

She raised her hand sharply, and ice-blue light surged in her palm, followed by a massive column of cold-powered energy gathering in her hand.
