Chapter 603: Chapter 603: Do You Seem to Know Me?_1

"Sure, I was actually planning to rest in the back today as well."

The flight attendant she found happily obliged.

With a roar, the plane glided off the runway and into the air.

Taking advantage of her tasks, Shen Xing frequently visited Ning Fan for chats, completely disregarding Shuang’er’s angry looks.

"Master, that woman is shameless!" Shuang’er huffed in irritation.

Ning Fan smiled and patted her on the head, "Don’t worry, I’ll speak to her clearly in a bit."

Soon, Shen Xing approached Ning Fan again.

Before Ning Fan could refuse, she spoke with a tense expression, "Mr. Ning... something seems to have gone wrong."

Seeing that she wasn’t joking, Ning Fan grew serious, "What happened?"

Shen Xing carefully looked around to make sure no one could overhear their conversation before she lowered her voice and said,

"I went to the cockpit to deliver coffee just now and heard a third person talking inside..."

Hearing this, Ning Fan’s expression turned odd, "Your captain didn’t bring... someone on board, did they?"

Usually, there are only two people in the cockpit: the captain and the co-pilot. There shouldn’t be a third person.

Guessing what Ning Fan was thinking, Shen Xing said urgently, "No, the voice was a man’s... I also heard him say something about the plane being above international waters and something about a bomb..."

It was because of these words that Shen Xing was greatly alarmed.

After much thought, she decided to seek Ning Fan’s help in the end.

She trusted this man, who had once saved her, more than the flight attendants and other onlookers who were all bark and no bite.

A bomb?!

Ning Fan immediately became more solemn.

The plane had already left Star Country and was now flying over international waters.

He wasn’t afraid of a bomb for himself, but the other passengers on the plane were all ordinary people.

If something happened to the plane, even if he survived, the other passengers would not be so lucky!

"Don’t cause a panic, take me to the cockpit!"

Ning Fan instructed Shuang’er and Huo Erba to guard the cabin while he and Shen Xing made their way to the cockpit door.

At Ning Fan’s urging glance, Shen Xing took a deep breath and knocked on the cockpit door.

After a moment of silence inside, a deep male voice responded.

"What’s up?"

Following the plan they had discussed earlier, Shen Xing carefully asked, "Captain, there seems to be an issue with the black box at the back of the cabin; could you please come check it out?"

Only the captain had access to the black box, so using this reason to summon him seemed perfectly logical.

The cockpit became quiet for a moment, and as Shen Xing grew anxious, she instinctively turned to look at Ning Fan.

"Mr. Ning..."

Before she could finish speaking, Ning Fan suddenly moved forward, stepping past her to grab the cockpit’s door.

Bang!

With a gentle exertion of force, he pulled the door’s edge down, startling Shen Xing into disbelief.

Ning Fan glanced inside and saw three shocked faces.

Aside from the seated captain and co-pilot, there was a young man.

He was holding a gun, pressed against the captain’s temple.

Having done all this, he then turned his head to look at Ning Fan, his face filled with malevolence.

"Hehe, damn it, you found out!"

Ning Fan had earlier heard the sound of a safety being released inside, which is why he took preemptive action. Surprisingly, the assailant had already taken the captain hostage.

Frowning at the young man’s words, Ning Fan asked,

"From the way you speak, it seems like you know me?"

Enraged, the young man’s face grew more ferocious.

"Bastard, I’m here to avenge Hall Master Lin!"

Hall Master Lin?

The first person Ning Fan thought of was Lin Haifeng; he wondered if something had happened to him.

"I think you might be misunderstanding... Wait, you mean Hall Master Lin Ping?"

Halfway through his thought, Ning Fan realized that Lin Ping had also briefly served as hall master.

The young man yelled fiercely, with venom in his eyes, "Correct! Hall Master Lin Ping was kind to me, and today I am here to avenge him!"

Without waiting for Ning Fan to ask further, he pulled the trigger.

Bang!

With a muffled sound, the bullet went through the captain’s temple, blasting a large hole in the other side.

Blood splattered, and the co-pilot’s eyes rolled back as he passed out on the spot.

Fortunately, the plane was currently on autopilot; otherwise, it would have lost control immediately.

"Murder! Murder!"

The flight attendant, who arrived after hearing the noise, saw the bloody scene inside and screamed in terror, running back into the cabin in utter panic.

Suddenly, the whole cabin became chaotic.

"What? There’s been a murder?!"

"You’re joking right, this is on a plane!"

"There’s really a dead body! The captain has been killed!"

Curious passengers moved towards the cockpit and were shocked by the brief sight before them.

Holy shit!

The captain is really dead!

Word spread quickly; within a minute, everyone knew that a terrorist was on board and had just killed the captain.

"It’s over, the captain is dead, what do we do now?"

"God! Please save us!"

"Are we going to parachute? Does the plane even have that many parachutes?!"

Overhearing the uproar in the cabin, the young man clenched his teeth, pulled the co-pilot up, and pressed the gun to his head.

"Listen up! We are over international waters, and once the time comes, you all will die together!"

"Ning Fan, no matter how tough you are, you’re definitely going to die!"
