Chapter 775: Chapter 533 Red Ghost: Where do you come from, outsider_2

"Buzzzzz!"

The Fly Head suddenly flew over, saluted them, and then made a series of buzzing noises.

"It says that apart from the few boxes you asked to keep, the rest have been moved down."

Black Skull translated.

"Then I’ll go down. Nigga, do you want to take a stroll down there?"

Liu Zheng invited.

"I think I’ll pass. Even if I can’t smell anything, just looking at it is disgusting enough. If I get any dirt on me, the kids won’t let me hold them when I get back."

Black Skull refused bluntly.

"Alright then."

He shrugged, turned around, and walked to the manhole, climbing down the ladder.

At the Underwater River’s edge, boxes of takeout were stacked neatly.

He nodded in satisfaction. Despite their dirty appearance, the Fly people worked efficiently, no wonder they were the sanitation department’s go-to temporary labor.

"Why are you bringing drinks and desserts? Is Sea Girl coming down to the sewer again?"

The Fisherman asked with a hint of anticipation.

"Do you really wish your daughter to be chased by those bald guys again?"

"How could I?"

"Then why is she coming to the sewer?"

Liu Zheng retorted.

"Can’t she come to see her father?"

The Fisherman huffed and puffed.

"That’s not a question for me, you should ask her."

He spread his tentacles.

"You’re... a friend of my daughter, so whom should I ask if not you?"

The Fisherman almost let it slip.

"Even if I’m like a worm in her stomach, I still don’t know what she’s thinking. Fine, fine, once I’m done with my current tasks, I’ll arrange for Sea Girl and her friends to have a gathering in the sewer, okay?"

Liu Zheng said.

"Why her friends? Is that Huang Mao coming too?"

The Fisherman furrowed his brow.

"Why shouldn’t he come? Last time, he went out of his way to protect Sea Girl. Besides, she isn’t you; she wants a life under the Sunshine, don’t you hope she makes more friends and is happy every day?"

"Hmph, you said it all, what else could I add?"

The Fisherman turned away, not wanting to deal with him.

"I haven’t finished yet. When the time comes, prepare a clean area, make it look nice with furniture, decorations, and flower arrangements. Also, prepare some good-selling and tasty fish. Then, you can personally grill fish for them, they’ll eat happily, Sea Girl will have face, and you’ll get to show what a great dad you are. Wouldn’t that be wonderful?"

Liu Zheng continued.

"Where in the sewer do you find furniture, decorations, and flowers? Do you think this is the Garbage Processing Plant?"

The Fisherman couldn’t help but roll his eyes.

"You don’t have to worry about that; I’ll get the stuff for you, find experts for you, and all you need to do is follow instructions and be the hard worker."

He waved his tentacles.

"Hmph, with how fast you seek trouble, I’d be waiting until my five-hundred-year birthday for you to finish."

The Fisherman complained.

"Then you’d better borrow five hundred more years from heaven. Quit living in vain and help me contact the sewer, I need to find Red Ghost."

Liu Zheng urged.

"You boy, making decisions for me."

The Fisherman gave him a glare and then reached his hand into the sewer.

"Human, what about the task I gave you?"

A moment later, he spoke with closed eyes, while the white wart on his head quietly opened.

"I have further strengthened the relationship with the Tomb Guardian; once I complete his assignment, I can inquire about the runaway will’s whereabouts."

Liu Zheng replied unhurriedly.

"What does he want you to do?"

The sewer asked.

"He wants me to rob a grave."

The Tomb Guardian asked him to do this just to get by, and didn’t ask for secrecy, so mentioning it should be fine.

"Oh, go to the right."

The sewer raised its hand saying.

"Alright."

Liu Zheng maintained his composure, though internally he rolled his eyes hard.

With this question, he thought he would get some assistance, but this is it?

Sure enough, all bosses are the same worldwide.

After walking a bit further, he soon found the security door on the wall.

Liu Zheng knocked on the door, and after more than ten seconds, it automatically opened.

"Electrician uncle."

As expected, it was still the little one, Donia, greeting him, along with the emotionless Red Ghost behind her.

"I brought some food and drinks for the children, I’ll just leave them by the riverside over there. Let me move them over."

Liu Zheng said to Red Ghost.

"No need, you go inside first, I’ll take care of it."

Red Ghost shook his head.

"Alright."

He didn’t dwell on it, picked up Donia and walked into the shelter.

"Uncle Electrician!"

As before, the children enthusiastically pounced on him.

Only this time, there was one less small, yet upright figure in the crowd.

"I’m sorry, children, I lost Paul."

Liu Zheng said somewhat gloomily.

Paul had already sacrificed himself, leaving only a patched-up body in the shelter to enjoy the final peace, and in the end, he still burned himself out completely for him, leaving not even a trace of his existence.

For what Liu Zheng did for Paul, it wasn’t worth such a sacrifice, but he did it anyway.

"Warriors don’t get lost, Comrade Electrician. Paul has simply gone to where he belongs."

A slightly hoarse voice said.

Liu Zheng turned around, a little girl was quietly watching him.

She wore a blue and white striped sailor suit and a light gray skirt, with neatly braided hair only down to her ears, looking both youthful and smart.

"Are you Lida? Or should I call you Comrade Ustinovich?"

Liu Zheng recalled her name.

"Whatever you prefer, Comrade Electrician. A name is just a code, just like we call you Comrade Electrician."

Lida said calmly.

"Oh. Gotta say, you look quite cute pretending to be a grown-up."

He suddenly extended a tentacle and ruffled Lida’s hair messily.

Such a sudden gesture caught Lida off guard, and by the time she reacted, her head had turned into a shabby bird’s nest, even the glued scalp had gotten wrinkled.

"Ah!!!"

Lida let out a soul-piercing scream that almost penetrated the shelter.

"Яубьютебя,ублюдок(I’m going to kill you, you bastard)!"

She pounced on Liu Zheng, baring her teeth and claws, like a fierce mother leopard or more like a Pallas’s cat.

Of course, Liu Zheng wouldn’t let her catch him; he had already fled the scene before she started screaming.

Thus, the two of them chased each other around the classroom, knocking tables, chairs, and stools askew.

"Way to go, Lida, kick his heel with your little shoes."

"Mr. Electrician, she’s coming up from the left."

"Don’t throw my pencil case!"

The children clapped and cheered, splitting into two factions acting as think tanks.

"Alright, enough fooling around."

The farce went on until Red Ghost returned.

Reluctantly, Lida unclenched her teeth and jumped off Liu Zheng.

"Ouch, ouch, with such loose scalp, how are your teeth so tight, did you secretly supplement your calcium?"

He said, rubbing the tooth marks on his cheek.

"Say that again!"

Lida raised her little eyebrow, looking like she was about to erupt again.

"Alright, Lida, you’re a good child, don’t stoop to petty arguments with adults."

Red Ghost smoothed Lida’s hair, offering comfort.

"As for you, I let you in to help, not to be the king of the kids."

It nodded at Liu Zheng and said.

"Playing with them is a kind of work too."

Liu Zheng argued.

"Lida, Seryosha, go fetch five boxes from the storage warehouse."

Red Ghost commanded.

"Yes, Mentor."

A tall, long-faced boy stepped out, dragging Lida towards the storage, the latter not forgetting to throw an angry glance back.

"I thought we would just live peacefully in the shelter until the end of Metropolis."

Red Ghost said with its back facing Liu Zheng.

"I shouldn’t have disturbed you all."

Liu Zheng put away his playful smile and said.

"You did disturb us, but it wasn’t wrong."

Red Ghost shook its head.

"No warrior would prefer to be a living epitaph or destroyed alongside enemies. They were already great in life, and you made them glorious after death once again."

"Whether as their leader or their mentor, I should thank you."

"So, where did you really come from, outsider?"

It turned around, staring into Liu Zheng’s eyes and slowly asked.
