Chapter 784: Chapter 413: Foreigners Interfering Again_1

The expression on the King of the Ancient Tomb’s face drastically changed. He was about to reinforce his Space of Heart Demon with the Soul of Darkness, but Ivita had already left. The dark power he’d been using to suppress his heart demon had vanished, and this unexpectedly caused the King of the Ancient Tomb to be trapped within the World of Heart Demons himself.

He couldn’t get out for a while.

Inside the Space of Heart Demon, the furious King of the Ancient Tomb’s eyes spat out green zombie-fire, killing everyone in the World of Heart Demon, including himself.

After he had smothered himself, whose countenance was filled with shock, anger, and terror, the King of the Ancient Tomb watched in displeasure as his Space of Heart Demon regenerated once more.

The person he didn’t want to remember kept reappearing.

"Damn it," the King of the Ancient Tomb murmured grimly.

In the past, he had willingly submitted his soul to Winter Law. Winter Law had, in turn, used the unique power of the Winter Shadow Grey to help him suppress the heart demon.

If it wasn’t for the heart demon, he could have created a genuine Dark Soul back then.

Instead, he was now stuck, trapped in the form of a monster.

Now, though, the boy had torn a hole in the Shadow of the Undead—Winter Shadow Grey—with the Light Soul. He got trapped in the Space of Heart Demon, unable to contact Winter Law.

Looking at it now, he seems to have cornered himself.

If he lets that boy create a weapon that could kill his heart, during this opportunity, his dream, his zombie army, will all disappear.

There will be a successor to the Iron Crown.

Nothing in this country will change.

Thinking about this, the King of the Ancient Tomb loathed how he had shown mercy in the past and hadn’t used some of his extreme methods.

"No!" With the King of the Ancient Tomb’s fury, all the people in the entire World of Heart Demon died once again, but the Space of Heart Demon gradually reemerged from within him.

...

Ivita opened his eyes to see a bright moon and thick moonlight. "I did it."

"I won."

He heard the sound of weapons clashing, looked back, and saw Knight Robinson and the others and the Hearthstone Witch, engaged in a fight with a group of fully armed Pigmen.

These pig head people only appeared to be pigmen holding wooden clubs. They were thick-skinned and sturdy, and there were signs of magical alterations on their bodies. They let out a threatening roar once they started fighting.

If it were a regular squad that encountered such Pigmen, they might end up at a disadvantage.

These Pigmen seemed to be the result of a wizard being backfired by magic. However, in front of Knight Robinson and the others, they were nothing.

Knight Robinson impassively chopped down the pig heads one by one, and they fell to the ground.

"So, I teleported us into a monster’s lair," Ivita realized, standing up. "I probably didn’t have time to judge the location when teleporting."

Ivita was still a bit puzzled.

Because when he was teleporting, he clearly made a simple judgment with the light soul. There shouldn’t have been any major issues, he just teleported them to the edge of the Republic.

How could there be a troop of monsters on the outskirts of the republic, equivalent to the kingdom’s outskirts?

Moreover, each of these monsters surprisingly had the strength of a formal knight and there were more than forty of them in total.

Ivita joined the fray, speeding up the rate at which Knight Robinson and company killed the Pigmen.

An hour later, Ivita sat with everyone and said, "So, we had some problems but we solved them. Now we just need to create a weapon that can shatter the heart of the King of the Ancient Tomb. That’s the easy part. Use Ambros’s Broken Steel Sword, and add our United Magic to it."

Ivita, who had studied ancient manuscripts at the Great Library, had already been devising this spell when he was in the Space of Heart Demon.

Ivita looked at the Knowledge Demon King on the Sect Hierarch’s back and said, "Normally, even I wouldn’t be able to come up with a spell to kill the heart of the King of the Ancient Tomb in such a short time. I need your help to connect me directly to the River of Knowledge."

"Can you do that?"

A voice came from the corpse within the Iron Maiden. "I can. But connecting to the River of Knowledge comes with great risk. Nevermind, your Light Soul is strong enough. A normal person connecting to the River of Knowledge would get lost in it. They wouldn’t even have time to go mad, as their soul would be submerged by the river."

Ivita nodded, "The King of the Ancient Tomb’s strength was trapped inside his Space of Heart Demon. He couldn’t interfere with us any more. Let us begin."

Ivita walked over and placed his hand on the cold Iron Maiden. Suddenly, his soul seemed to traverse halls of space-time, arriving at the place where all souls end. He witnessed a river, nebulous yet real, that stretched through his own body from far away.

In an instant, Ivita’s Light Soul blazed brightly, constructing a philosophical world of idealism, shielding his soul and consciousness from the devastating river.

The countless stray thoughts of knowledge wanted to enter Ivita’s mind, offering him endless wisdom.

But they were repelled by the Light Soul.

Ivita looked at the river flowing outside his philosophical world, his eyes full of surprise and understanding. "This knowledge is actively trying to infiltrate my mind, not passively obtained by me. Thus, the relationship of these concepts to me is reversed. The knowledge seeks me, not I seek the knowledge. If this were the case, I could be assimilated by the River of Knowledge in an instant, becoming a puppet of knowledge."
