Chapter 419: Chapter 256: The Trace of Domination Sect Magic and Laxi Dreamer_2

The Hearthstone Witch quickly read through the magic book. "This seems to be a magic suitable for formal wizards to learn, and there is an upgraded version, the ’Sea Occupant Door.’ This type of magic can teleport an entire army to a specific location."

"But it’s only half a book, the rest is presumably in the weird building next to us, and the subsequent magic books are likely all in this building."

"Wait a minute, the last few pages of this magic book mention several words in the Ancient World language — ’Corinthian Strait’, ’Messenia People’, ’Collectivist Camp’, ’Hei Lao’, and ’Laxi Dreamer’." The Hearthstone Witch was puzzled. "This island seems to have a deep connection with the Ancient World. What exactly does this inverted cone-shaped building do, and why did that ’person’ from our ship want to bring you here?"

Ivita looked at the unconscious Persopolis and said, "We will only know once Mr. Persopolis wakes up."

"Hearthstone Witch, use magic plants to block this place."

"Let’s withdraw for now."

The Hearthstone Witch filled the surroundings of the inverted cone building with carnivorous flowers.

Ivita knew that this ring of terrifying carnivorous flowers was deadly to the primordial tribes because Hearthstone Witch’s magic plants could only be injured by iron tools, and even bronze tools could be considered precious items for the people of the primordial tribes.

They carried the severely injured Persopolis Knight back along the same route and returned to the ship. In the process, Ivita felt that something in the woods was constantly watching them.

Only when Ivita released her magic power did these things consciously retreat.

When they returned to the ship, they carried the man into the cabin and woke up the sleeping ship’s doctor.

By the next morning, everyone on the ship knew that the Persopolis Knight was injured, and Ivita’s group waited until the afternoon, but Persopolis Knight still did not wake up.

On the deck, Ivita, looking at the sun, said to the Hearthstone Witch: "It’s going to be dark again soon, and Persopolis is seriously injured."

"We don’t have time to ask him anymore. We can only take people back to that inverted cone-shaped building."

"Except for sailors and ordinary people on the ship, we will leave two warriors, a hunter, and the vampire Davina. Everyone else will explore the building deep in the secret forest with me."

The Hearthstone Witch said to Ivita, "Yes, Your Majesty."

Thus, half an hour later, Ivita, along with three warriors, a trainee hunter, a formal knight, the Hearthstone Witch, the female ranger, and Vampire Wilson, once again went deep into the dense forest.

They followed the previous path, passed through the dense forest, and once again came to the previously discovered deep forest, discovering the ring of carnivorous flowers.

They arrived in front of the inverted cone structure.

However, this time, there were many native people without clothes here. They were attacking the carnivorous flowers planted by the Hearthstone Witch, but they had no iron tools. Many natives have already been eaten by the carnivorous flower, which was still digesting them.

The natives without iron tools were completely helpless against the Hearthstone Witch’s carnivorous flowers.

Ivita frowned. What were these native tribes doing here? Could this place be their holy land?

The natives quickly noticed Ivita and others.

They immediately surrounded Ivita and others with stone spears. The leading red-skinned natives hissed at Ivita.

A group of natives rushed over with a fierce expression on their faces.

But the warriors, the hunter, the female ranger, and the Old Knight of the Persopolis family had already stood in front of Ivita and repelled the natives who wanted to rush over.

As soon as the two sides made contact, the people on the natives’ side collapsed.

Without any professionals, they faced the professionals on Ivita’s side, like chickens and dogs.

Both the hunter and the female ranger didn’t even bother to use spell-like skills. They knocked the natives unconscious with just their fists.

If it wasn’t for Ivita’s command to her professionals not to kill, half of these natives would have died already.

Soon, the natives realized that they were not opponents and looked at Ivita and others with fear.

Vampire Wilson said to Ivita, "Sir, I seem to understand a little of their language. Their language seems very similar to one of the languages I’ve learned before."

Vampire Wilson said to Ivita, "These natives seem to say that we are terrible seal breakers and thieves, that we stole the god stone of their tribe, which led to the massacre of a tribe in their tribal alliance by a frightful evil spirit."

Ivita noticed a native old man with many colourful pebbles strung around his neck among the defeated natives. He was chattering at him.

Vampire Wilson translated his words and said to Ivita, "Sir, he says that the seal must not be broken."

"No one can enter the building."

"Otherwise, a horrific evil spirit will revive."

"You outsiders must accept the judgement of our god. You can’t leave the island, or it will bring us disasters. He seems to hope that we... commit suicide? He also said he refuses to communicate with us, as he can’t talk to people who bring catastrophe."

Wilson hesitated for a moment but still translated the words of the native old man to Ivita.
