Chapter 357: Chapter 224: The Sin of the Thousand-Year Fire? Testing Destiny Magic, The Purple Witch (8224)_1
Wilson carefully observed Ivita, whose back was facing him, and asked, "Lord, have you recovered the lost part of your memory?"
Ivita replied: "I have."
Jack Ripper Wilson broke out into a smile. "Then, my congratulations to you, Lord, for figuring out how you obtained your Destiny Magic."
Ivita turned around and looked at the Light Element Flower that this fellow wore on his chest. "Have the Hearthstone Witch absorb this flower for you as soon as possible. Wearing it on your chest like this is too dangerous for everyone. If seen by others, they might harbor inappropriate thoughts."
Wilson was ecstatic. "Thank you, Lord Ivita."
Being a vampire, even a fourth-generation one, he lacked the knowledge and magic ability to fully absorb the Elemental Flower.
The only way for him to harness the power of the Light Element Flower was by wearing it.
He had initially planned to seek Ivita’s help when the opportunity arose. Yet, to his surprise, Ivita directly pointed out his current need and proactively assisted him.
There and then, Wilson no longer harbored any doubts about his loyalty to Ivita.
As for Ivita, he wanted to find a spot to test out the other Destiny Magic.
Since his Destiny Magic was connected to the Six Great Emperor Stars and the high-level Magic Source he had obtained, his magic had long surpassed average wizards, making him arguably the strongest wizard’s apprentice.
Ivita wasn’t sure if there had been a wizard reaching his current state in the past.
The reason he was able to achieve this was due to various fortuitous circumstances and the fact that he was conferred the Six Divine Powers and the full guidance of The Great Witch at the commencement stage.
Ordinary wizard apprentices couldn’t possibly obtain even a tenth of the resources he currently had.
Ivita walked out of the villa, and the other followed suit. He said to the fourth-generation Vampire Wilson, "Have been wondering, if vampires can make new vampires by biting others, won’t they quickly build an army?"
As Wilson was about to exit the villa, he heard those words and managed a bitter smile. "It’s not the case, Lord Ivita."
"During the period of the first and second-generation vampires, perhaps such things can occur, but due to the Druid’s curse, our efficiency of successfully turning new vampires is extremely low. Besides, turning a person into a vampire requires the sacrifice of our own blood."
Wilson chuckled bitterly.
Even if vampires could do this, they dared not.
Because the current ecological structure of vampires only exists because The Church tolerates their existence. If they genuinely have such an ability, the Church might issue a Golden Seal Edict against the vampire base - The Duchy of Wallachia, initiating a holy war and calling upon all countries of the continent who believe in the God of All Things to wage war against The Duchy of Wallachia.
As Ivita stepped outside, he felt some vibrations on the ground. It seemed there were enemies at the entrance of Kappa Town.
Indeed, some small fry had come to Kappa Town in the past couple of days, wanting to snatch the Elemental Flower.
But since they didn’t know that the Elemental Flower already had an owner and was no longer in the graveyard, it wasn’t much of a problem.
These were all small fry, so they were quickly dealt with by the wizards of The Graveyard.
However, the people that arrived today seemed to be the most powerful group yet among the small fry that had come these few days.
Ivita laughed. He had wanted to find a target to test out his Destiny Magic, and couldn’t bring himself to test it on his people.
Little did he expect, somebody was gifting him a pillow just when he was about to sleep.
When Ivita arrived at the town gate of Kappa Town with his people, he noticed that the town’s entrance landmark had been pulled out of the ground and flung onto the grassland.
The five wizard apprentices of The Graveyard looked fearfully at the intruder. Ivita saw that the intruder was a fully-fledged witch wearing purple gloves, cowskin shoes, a ladies’ hat with a goose feather sewn on the front, and a splendid black and purple checkered dress. She had brought along twenty soldiers, among them seven warriors and two knights.
However, something seemed off about these two knights. Although they were on their horses, they seemed absent-minded, as if under magic control.
Jack Ripper Wilson seemed to recognize this witch. He whispered in Ivita’s ear, "My Lord, that is The Purple Witch. Her abilities are not strong, and she has average talent. It took her eighty years to finally get promoted to a full witch and she lacks the ability to advance further."
"Her magic power is not strong, and she belongs to the bottom-tier of full wizards. However, she excels at mind-controlling magic. She owns a famous exclusive magic called Heart-loss Potion. By using Heart-loss Potion and Intelligence Reducing Potion together, a person’s mind can be controlled."
Ivita remembered that he had seen a wizard apprentice who used the Intelligence Reducing Potion as a love potion in a small place before.
Indeed, he instinctively knew that this wasn’t the correct use of the Intelligence Reducing Potion.
The Purple Witch arrogantly stepped off her carriage, careful to avoid the mud on the ground. She looked around the small town with disdain. "I hate two places in particular: where the poor live and the countryside."
"You five wizard apprentices, hand over the Elemental Flower, then you can live."
One of the witch apprentices among them retorted angrily, "Who do you think you are?"
"If you had come a few days earlier, would we have let you swagger around The Graveyard and Kappa Town as you are now doing? Back then, where would you have ranked among those invaders...."
