Chapter 325: Chapter 209: Pentagonal Magic, Sea of Fire and Lightning Pool_2
"Ah!" Ivita couldn’t hold back a call of agony due to the sudden surge of intense pain. At the same time, he found a vast surge of thunder magic had entered his right eye, turning into a pool of lightning.
Now, he had a sea of fire in the retina of his left eye and a lightning pool in the right.
The Pan God, hearing the commotion, came out and squatted down. He bent over to look at Ivita’s eyes, and through the pupil of the right eye, saw the shape of the lightning-filled pool. "I see, the thunder magic turned into a lightning pool."
"So, would this be considered the source of magic power?" Ivita asked, holding back the pain.
The Pan God spread his hands. "This is a matter for you wizards, how would I know?"
The Hearthstone Witch jumped on top of the carriage. She had heard the Pan God’s words and said, "It can’t be considered the source of magic power because it’s an ownerless magic power that found shelter in you."
"Your Highness, you should not be able to tap into too much of this magic power."
"This isn’t magic power that can be used as a source of magic."
Ivita closed his right eye. Well, he was a cyclops again.
But this time it was the other eye he kept closed.
He looked at the old witch with his left eye. "Do you have a solution?"
The Hearthstone Witch asked Ivita to open his right eye. In an instant, she saw Ivita’s red and blue eyes. "You may close them. I think this situation is similar to when you were in the Clock Kingdom and your left eye swallowed the fire snake magic, and the fire demon. "
"Even though the sea of fire and the lightning pool cannot be used by you, they can nurture your magic power. Just like how you usually let the fire bird stay in the sea of flames in your left eye’s retina, you should nurture something in your lightning pool."
"This may not be a bad thing, it doesn’t necessarily need to be solved. You will get used to it soon, it’s just discomfort at the moment."
Ivita had no response to this.
He wasn’t one for raising pets after all.
He summoned the fire bird from the sky, transforming it into a roaring flame that returned to his eyes.
Suddenly, Ivita heard a massive uproar from behind. Turning to look, he saw the black sun amongst the two suns in the sky beginning another assault towards him.
Accompanying it came Hugo’s furious roar of frustruation and astonishment.
"Die!"
The black sunlight swept over like a sandstorm. All life that was touched by the black light, diminished instantly.
Even an ant on the ground would turn into ashes instantly if it was brushed by the black sunlight.
Plants, bushes, all decayed.
Clearly, in order to kill Ivita and the others, Hugo was now disregarding the destruction of Kappa Town.
Ivita, The Pan god, and the old witch hastily crawled inside the iron carriage through the iron windows. Just as they scuttled in, the black light seared through their escape route.
Ivita felt the soles of his feet burning and found that half of his shoe soles were burnt.
The iron carriage once again made a sizzling sound.
Within the black sunlight, the iron carriage was the only thing that remained. The carriage, given blood magic, was incredibly solid.
Ivita said to the Pan God, "Immediately start the iron carriage, let’s go to the elemental flower. Without the elemental flower, I want to see what he can do!"
As Pan God started the iron carriage, he asked, "What if Hugo continues to attack us with the Destructive Celestial Sphere even when we reach the location of the elemental flower? We can’t possibly get off the carriage to pick the elemental flower."
"The self nature object carries a curse that will protect it. We must break this curse to get it."
Milani said, "That’s not possible. He still has twenty loyal followers guarding the elemental flower."
Looking at Milani, The Pan God said, "Do you think he would care about the lives of twenty students?"
The Hearthstone witch cursed, "If that’s the case, he really is shameless!"
"Disgraceful!"
"If he’s going to sacrifice his own students like this, why would students still follow him?"
Ivita gave a peculiar glance at her, for the double standard-crazed woman was unaware of her biased views and still cursed Hugo.
Ivita handed Milani the broken magic wand. "I apologize, it wasn’t deliberate, is there any way to remedy it?"
Milani, looking heartbroken at the two pieces of the broken magic wand, acknowledged it had now truly become two pieces of wood.
Milani said, "It’s okay. I know you didn’t do it on purpose."
"Besides, there are Wand Repairers in this world who specialize in fixing magic wands."
Ivita asked, "Does Ambros have any?"
Milani shook her head. "Ambros is just a corner of this world, it’s a wasteland of magic."
"It’s impossible that there would be a wand repairer here."
"I have no choice but to go to Cross Island in the future to look for a wand repairer. I heard that a famous alchemist, Nicolas Flamelle, recently arrived there. He can turn water into liquid pure gold."
Ivita remembered that Milani had given her the Viscount’s territory located in Cross Island, and she still had to go there to reclaim the land.
Speaking of which, it was not her first time dealing with the pirates. The time before, at the Fire Passing Ceremony Place, she encountered a wizard apprentice who wanted to curse her with the Misfortune Coins on board the Blue Lady.
The Blue Lady seemed to be one of the seven legendary pirate ships and the flagship of the Pirate Earl.
’Bang~’
The iron carriage jolted, making a loud clang sound. By the sound of it, Ivita knew that one of the wheels had broken.
But it doesn’t matter.
The reason why they had designed the iron carriage with eight wheels was to prevent the carriage from being immobilized due to wheel breakage.
Now there are still seven remaining iron wheels, which do not affect the movement of the iron carriage.
However, it could be seen that the black sun had already started damaging the iron carriage.
Even the iron carriage strengthened by Blood Magic, could not possibly continue to hold up.
Pan God suddenly said, "We’re here, the Elemental Flower is just ahead."
At the same time, the intense noise inside the iron carriage also disappeared. It seemed that Hugo didn’t want to continue, in order to avoid accidentally killing his own twenty close followers.
Milani let out a sigh of relief. "It seems he still has some humanity."
Ivita began to doubt. Is the other party willing to give up the Elemental Flower to preserve the lives of the twenty students?
The Hearthstone Witch sniffed, and said, "I seem to smell a conspiracy."
"They are acting too strangely. It’s as if they want us to get off the carriage."
Pan God remained silent.
Ivita opened the iron window of the carriage and saw a red and white bud, resembling a rose, on the lawn outside the carriage. This flower was about six times larger than a rose, the edges of the bud marked with golden lines and the petals of the bud were pure white, almost surpassing the snow.
This Elemental Flower gave one a sense of sacredness, majesty, and beauty.
After a while, this bud blossomed, and as it did, Ivita saw that each layer of the bud had different colours - red, light blue, white and dark blue. When it blossomed, each layer automatically formed a smaller flower, as if decomposing, transforming the originally large bud into four smaller flowers of different colours.
At the top of these four vibrant flowers, they respectively swirled with powerful Fire Magic, Water Magic, Light Magic, and Thunder Magic.
When these four flowers bloomed, the powerful magic was guided by the Array on the ground around the Elemental Flower and flew towards the graveyard not far away.
The Array seemed to have a pentagonal pattern.
Milani recognized the origin of this Array at a glance. "This is an Array from the Civilization of Fire - Pentagonal Magic."
"It can conduct magic power, it’s recorded in the magic book left by the three witches of the east."
Protecting the Pentagonal Magic were twenty wizard apprentices dressed in black robes.
They were coldly watching the iron carriage approaching, surprisingly, they were not flustered, nor in a hurry, instead, the leading student said, "You’re really looking for your own death."
"We are the best twenty students in the cemetery."
"Although you’ve made it all the way here, which is very impressive, but this is where it ends."
"You can’t move forward a step further."
The twenty wizard apprentices began shifting their positions, mumbling as if they were doing something.
They made wild gestures and walked as if they were marching.
Ivita wasn’t sure where their confidence came from.
Before, thirty wizard apprentices were no match for her.
And now, she brought so many people here, what could these twenty wizard apprentices do?
