The witch thought I am a Demon God
Chapter 288 - 190: The Strategy of Competing for Blood Magic and Alpha Wolf _1

Chapter 288: Chapter 190: The Strategy of Competing for Blood Magic and Alpha Wolf _1

Pan God pulled off his helmet, the peculiar shape of his head and the bizarre ram’s horns growing from it left the Great Knight and his knights stumped for a second. Owing to a historical lapse, the Great Knight couldn’t realize that Pan God was the Ancient Soul.

The Great Knight unsheathed his knight sword and plunged it into Pan God’s chest. "Die, abomination!"

The followers of the God of All Things, because of Pan God’s strange appearance, treated him as a creature similar to an enemy of a god.

However, as the two and a half meters long knight sword pierced Pan God’s chest, he wore a helpless expression. His body quickly turned into wood, and in less than half a second, his body completely metamorphosed into a wooden figure.

And then, roots and grass began to grow out of the wooden figure’s feet, followed by the figure sprouting branches and leaves from head to toe. Each branch was lush and verdant.

The wooden figure had remarkably turned into a tree, a tree with hands and legs that could move and launched an attack on the cavalry troops led by the Great Knight.

The Great Knight yelled at his subordinates around him, "Charge!"

Ten minutes later, Pan God stood on the roof of a dilapidated wooden house at the other end of the village, watching as the knights collectively chopped down his summoned treant and burnt it into a torch.

Pan God sighed; the Knights were highly formidable on the battlefield. So, battling them would easily drag him into a war environment.

The Treant just now died under the repeated onslaught of the knights.

Although he was the Ancient Soul, amongst his opponents was a Great Knight who wielded Evil Qi. If he were to wage a head-on war with the Cavalry Troops, even if he could win, it would be at the cost of severe injuries.

This was the strength of an army.

"Damn." Pan God suddenly understood why the Hearthstone Witch had disappeared without a trace. It was not just that she feared for her life and ran away at the sight of the Great Knight, but she also wanted to ditch him.

"She must have gone after the Graveyard Wizard. She thinks she’s collected enough for blood magic, and she wants to snatch that blood magic that’s enough to forcibly make the Iron Thorn fairy appear."

Pan God had a peculiar look on his face. "Does she not trust me because she thinks I won’t let her get the blood magic?"

He initially thought that Hearthstone Witch was a rare honest witch otherwise, there was no way to explain why she always followed around Ivita. But as it turned out, her stratagem was beyond his guess.

They were all so cunning.

How on earth did Ivita manage to keep her under control!

Right now, Pan God was standing on the rooftop, and he strangely started laughing. "In reality, indeed, I have no intention of letting her obtain the blood magic."

"Letting the Graveyard Wizard summon the Iron Thorn fairy would also be beneficial to me."

"Unexpectedly, the Hearthstone Witch ignorantly ruined my plan."

...

In a small town about thirty miles south of the village that was massacred by all the Graveyard Wizards, over a thousand people in this town were also killed.

Watching Baron Beta’s army pillage the entire little town before continuing their carnage towards the south were five Graveyard Wizards.

They were elated because their plot had succeeded.

"How would we have killed so many people with our power alone? But we only needed to sow discord between the villagers and the soldiers, making the soldiers think that the villagers want to attack them, we can then use Ambros’s conflicts to satisfy the conditions for our blood magic."

"This small town is the first place where the Iron Thorn Fairy appeared. You see those five stone pillars enclosed at the end of the street, those are the pillars at which the Iron Thorn Fairy transformed into a fairy. By releasing the energy of blood magic on those five pillars, we can call the Iron Thorn Fairy by breaking her rules."

The leading Graveyard Wizard Apprentice sneered, "The regular way to summon the Iron Thorn fairy is when a person is mentally broken and in extreme anguish, it’s only then at midnight, that there’s the slightest possibility to see the Iron Thorn fairy in the well."

"But we have to deal with Ivita and can’t wait that long!"

The other four wizards added, "As long as the Iron Thorn fairy is summoned, Ivita is done for."

"Let’s go."

"Even though we will lose all our magic power this time, it is Mr. Hugo’s order. He has saved all our lives, this is our payback."

"Yes, Mr. Hugo’s enemies are our enemies, and with the merit from this deed, we will receive more resources in the future, and it won’t be hard to recover our magic power."

As the five of them walked and conversed, suddenly, from the end of the street, out walked an Old Witch wearing a black robe, her eyes menacing.

The five Apprentice Wizards, seeing the Old Witch standing in front of them blocking their way to the five pillars, were on high alert.

The leader of the Apprentice Wizards asked, "Who are you? Why are you here now? Have you been... been..."

The hearts of the five Graveyard Wizard Apprentices sank deeply.

The Old Witch laughed heartily, her eyes fixed on the red crystal ball in the hand of the leading Apprentice Wizard, the ball holding the power of blood magic produced by the death of thousands.

The Hearthstone Witch said, "Since you’re dealing with his Majesty, you should understand who he is, and who am I."
