Chapter 284: Chapter 188: Alpha Wolf Appears! Hunting the Ancestor of the Black Bear Man? _1

The moment Boots Cat disappeared, Ivita felt a tingling on his back, as if he had been targeted by a certain group.

However, most of the people around had no reaction, they didn’t know that danger was coming.

Ivita turned his head to look at Kristin, and Kristin was already looking at him.

Kristin said, "They’re on the move!"

"These guys were waiting for the moment Boots Cat left!"

"Get hold of Taketick!"

Ivita saw Baron Taketick trying to slip away from them.

Baron Taketick sneered, "I’m sorry, Ivita."

"I have to take Jenny away for the Viscount today, no matter how, even if it’s by force."

"You can blame Maximilian, the Black Bear Man. If it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t need to resort to this."

Then, all of a sudden, Ivita and Kristin noticed that their surroundings seemed to have completely darkened.

The original moonlight and surrounding candlelight had all disappeared, plunging them into utter darkness. It was strange that even she could not clearly see her surroundings in this darkness.

Intermittent screams and horrifying wolf howls could be heard all around them.

The sound of the wolf howling was rapidly approaching her, she could feel that some terrifying creatures were staring at her closely. As Kristin had predicted, her actions of overpowering the elders’ son in the ballroom had attracted the attention of these creatures of the dark.

In that instant, Ivita subconsciously reached out, grabbing in Baron Taketick’s direction of escape, but she came up empty.

Kristin also shouted out in rage, "The Knight Peacock has run away!"

Ivita immediately directed her Throwing Magic towards the direction where Baron Taketick had fled. She was trying her luck, as hundreds of Hands of Mana, much like gravity, grabbed everything within a hundred meters in front of Ivita.

She immediately felt that she had grabbed hold of some people, but since her vision was occupied by darkness, she didn’t know who exactly she had managed to capture.

However, when she felt the creatures of the night that were rapidly approaching her suddenly stop and start to withdraw, she knew that she had indeed captured Baron Taketick in the midst of the darkness.

Otherwise, the creatures of the night would surely choose to attack them instead of stopping and staying away.

Kristin yelled at Ivita, "Ivita, quickly use your Spirit Vision! Use your wizard sight."

"The creatures attacking us are Wolfmen, but there is at least one Witch among the Wolfmen. That witch has taken away the normal vision of all the humans present, but not of the wizards. Quickly use your wizard vision."

"Otherwise, we’ll all get killed by these crazy Wolfmen."

Ivita felt overwhelmed, she had heard from the old witch that witches and wizards could see things that the human eye couldn’t, directly observing the soul and spiritual power of life.

But the Hearthstone Witch hadn’t taught her this.

Kristin seems to have sensed something and added, "Concentrate your magic power on your eyes, and you’ll be able to see what you want to see."

"Right now, you’re the only one who may be able to see anything. Please."

Ivita did as directed, and suddenly she felt a clear flow in her eyes, and then she saw it.

Since human vision was currently sealed, she couldn’t see what the naked eye could see. But now she saw the spirit of each and every person around her, the creatures of the dark, the hunters, and knights.

Each spirit was different.

Through these spirits, Ivita saw the dozen guests she had grabbed with her Hands of Mana, and Baron Taketick, who was trying to destroy her Hands of Mana in order to break free. She saw the creatures hovering around her which were like wolves.

The spirits of these Wolfmen were dark and wolf-shaped, interspersed with numerous red chaotic spirits.

These spirits must belong to those who had been killed by the Wolfmen.

Turning her head, Ivita found that Kristin’s Hunter spirit was truly terrifying. Almost all of her spirit was blood red, and the color was incredibly deep which represented the countless monsters she had killed.

In the depth of the horrifying spirit was a pale blue dagger, which must be the Hunter’s short sword, the foundation of the Hunter’s profession.

At the same time, Ivita noticed that although Kristin couldn’t see, she had used an iron chain concealed on her body to hook a Wolfman in the short time of distraction, and was pressing her knee into the Wolfman’s neck, holding him down mercilessly.

She then pulled out her short sword and thrust it into the Wolfman’s neck. It seemed that this blow had directly damaged the Wolfman’s vocal cords, so he didn’t even have a chance to howl.

Ivita was instantly impressed, Kristin was indeed a formidable Wolfman Hunter.

Her deep-seated hatred for Wolfmen had probably bestowed her with such immense strength.

Just then, Ivita had also gotten used to the Wizard’s Spirit Vision, and noticed a person among the Wolfmen whose spirit was very similar to that of ordinary humans, but she was radiating magic!

This meant that there was a Witch among the Wolfmen who wasn’t a Wolfman herself.

Ivita instantly attacked the witch with her Throwing Magic. The witch was hit by the Hand of Mana in her chest and almost lost her breath, covering her chest. Simultaneously, her incantation was also interrupted.
