Chapter 256: Chapter 174: The Ice Witch and United Magic_3

"Let’s combine our magical power and create a new magic creature from all of our magic to stir up trouble in the cemetery."

"This creature can keep the cemetery preoccupied while we attempt to stop them from finding Boots Cat and Fairy Iron Thorn. So much so that they wouldn’t even dare to step out."

Ivita curiously asked, "United magic? Our magic power is fundamentally different, even the sources of our magic power aren’t the same, and you’re not even a wizard, you are..."

"Anyway, how can this be achieved?"

Ivita suddenly furrowed her brow, as the temperature of the air within the corridor became noticeably lower without their knowledge.

Some icicles had already formed on the remnants of the broken walls of the corridor.

It was only now that Ivita discovered a powerful ice magic was approaching her.

A voice was heard from across the second-floor window, "Pan, this is the expert you claimed to have found?"

"Well, very good."

A woman stepped in through the window. She was dressed in a luxurious white gown with a whalebone skirt supported by wooden frames and steel wires adorned with complex, beautiful white snowflake patterns."

With the woman’s arrival on the second floor corridor, it felt as though winter had descended upon the castle.

The woman wore a white crown, her noble bearing akin to a princess. Yet, her expressionless face and ruthlessly serious, sapphire-like eyes marked her out as a witch.

Ivita looked at Pan God quizzically.

Milani identified the woman’s identity, "Ice Witch..."

"Ivita, do you know her?"

Ivita shook her head. "I don’t think I’ve ever met her."

Pan God spread his hands and began introducing their new guest, "Everyone, this is the Ice Witch from the Snow Mountain at the source of the Bohr River in Ambros. She is the hostess of Ice Palace, a master of powerful ice magic and a keeper of the Snow Mountain Law of this generation."

"You can call her..."

The Ice Witch coldly interrupted, "There’s no need to tell them my name, Pan."

"You can address me as Ice Witch."

The Ice Witch cast a glance at Ivita’s left eye and frowned slightly, "You give me a bad vibe. I hope you don’t come within a metre of me, or else I will freeze you into an ice sculpture."

Ivita smiled, recalling once accidentally falling into Miss Little Alexei’s trap and was frozen into an ice sculpture from the waist down.

Back then, Miss Little Alexei seemed to have made use of the Heartless’ constitution, along with the magic power of the Ice Witch.

Pan God said, "Don’t be like this."

"We are allies now."

The Ice Witch stated, "Two of my students were captured by the cemetery. I came here not for revenge. The flames of vengeance would freeze upon nearing the cold ice. I’m here just to enter the cemetery and take out my two students."

"That’s all."

Upon hearing this, Milani and the cemetery elder seemed relieved.

Pan God gravely said, "But if we don’t join forces and decide to fight separately, we won’t be able to enter the cemetery."

The Ice Witch nodded, holding within her left hand, a delicately round, transparent crystal ball, "This is the Gathering Crystal."

"It is a treasure of the Snow Mountain Palace and a product of the Snow Mountain Law."

"It can merge our magical power without causing any internal consumption or any form of energy conflict."

"With a united ceremony, we can use it to create a creature that has never existed in this world."

"But we need some common but auxiliary magic materials for it, which I did not bring."

Milani interjected, "Whatever we are going to do, we need to do it quickly. If we return too late, our plans might be discovered."

Ivita mused, "I could mobilize the armies and tenants within my territory to help collect the magic materials within a few hours."

Pan God smiled contentedly. "That’s the advantage of being a lord."

"Apart from the naive snow monsters, the Ice Witch has no other servants, thus she cannot even gather the magic materials."

Pan rarely talks down to anyone, but when Ivita glanced at the Ice Witch, she understood why Pan had altered his style—because the Ice Witch did not show any emotional reaction...
