Chapter 227: Chapter 159: The Embryo in the Depths of the Dragon Palace (5290)_1

The hat finally opened its eyes and mouth, and after hopping around on the spot, it noticed the slowly recovering water elemental.

The hat maker, Horakulas, had somehow managed to communicate with his students through this hat.

Hopping around on the spot, the hat turned and saw the corpse of one of the students. After careful identification, it found that this student was not the one that it had personally taught in the graveyard.

So, the hat made a mocking expression. "Oh, look who’s taking a nap here?"

"I’ve told you guys before, no sleeping during class."

"Klauk, tell me, please don’t tell me you contacted me with magic just to get some extra private lessons!"

Klauk knew his teacher was usually irrational, spouting nonsense. Sometimes his words lacked any logic at all.

So, he didn’t pay any attention to the teacher’s words, but quickly explained the situation and asked the teacher for a solution.

In the study, the old witch said to Ivita: "He really is a mad hatter."

"It is said that he became mad due to long-term exposure to mercury while learning hat making. Otherwise, he wouldn’t dare to make a fool of a king in front of everyone."

Ivita nodded. "Let’s see how the official wizard of the witch cemetery will deal with my water elemental."

The Hearthstone witch said to Ivita in a low voice: "Your Majesty, never underestimate any official wizard."

Ivita snapped her fingers, "In that case, let’s add two more water elementals for the official wizard."

...

On the second floor corridor, when hat maker Horakulas heard Klauk’s words, he became furious. The face on his hat was full of anger as he questioned Klauk.

"The cemetery is supposed to be led by Milani, what gives you the right to replace her?"

Klauk felt insulted. "Teacher, even you think that I’m not as good as her?"

"I’m the student you’ve spent the most time on."

"Didn’t you say that you regard me as your own child? Why does everyone, even you, think I’m not as good as Milani, a mere young girl who doesn’t fit in."

Defiant, Klauk said: "If the young wizards in the cemetery voted for who should lead the cemetery, I would get ten times as many votes as Milani."

"Because I fit in."

"I have more connections, more friends, and am better at dealing with people than Milani by a thousand times! And in this mission, we are just a few steps away from the wizard Lord Ivita."

"But Milani gave up the mission due to her own cowardice and wanted us to retreat."

"She doesn’t care about the cemetery at all."

"Although she is talented, she doesn’t love the cemetery as much as I do!"

The Mad Hatter glanced at this guy, and said word by word: "What’s the use of you loving the cemetery? What’s the use of having so many friends? The cemetery needs a talented wizard like Milani."

"Only she can lead this action, only she can be a leader! She’s not good at socializing, we can help her overcome this weakness at anytime, but we can’t help someone with inadequate magic abilities to become an excellent wizard who is capable of leading the wizard group!"

The Mad Hatter said, "If Milani thinks this operation should be abandoned, then she must have her reasons."

Klauk countered, "I only lost to Milani, I was always the second-best, there is no difference."

The Mad Hatter laughed heartily. "You can rank second, not because you are good, but because the other students are too mediocre. However, Milani, who is just one rank above you, is also merely better than the mediocre."

"I am the wizard whom you treat as your son!" Klauk roared angrily.

The Mad Hatter said, "Very well, now you are kicked out of my home. Learn to live independently, big baby."

"This is the last time I clean up your mess."

"You’d better remember, next time, I won’t care. You can do whatever you want, I won’t care anymore."

As Klauk was about to speak, the Mad Hatter had already come to the side of the water elemental and started to observe it carefully.

During the argument, he had been observing and speaking at the same time.

"What a clever design, if only I could see the spell of this magic."

"How did he come up with the idea to place a whirlpool connected to other bodies of water inside the water elemental."

"Brilliant."

"It seems that another promising wizard has appeared in the Magic Black Forest."

The Mad Hatter said to Klauk, "Since the whirlpool behind is connected to a huge body of water, it is impossible to exhaust the water elemental. So why don’t you try to interrupt the whirlpool channel?"

Klauk said: "I’ve tried, but the whirlpool moves inside the water elemental. I can’t attack it alone."

The Mad Hatter pondered for a moment. "I can’t cast a spell to help you. Have you tried blocking the whirlpool with something? Grab that statue in the corridor and throw it into the whirlpool inside the water elemental, and see what happens."

Upon hearing this, Klauk immediately called for help, and together they moved a half-body plaster statue from the corridor. They cast a spell on the statue to increase its weight and strengthen it.

Then, the five male wizards lifted it up and threw it into the water elemental, hitting the whirlpool inside the water elemental.

With a loud crash, the whirlpool inside the water elemental reacted, spewing out large amounts of seawater. The water flow shattered the statue and sprayed the debris everywhere.
