Chapter 212: Chapter 150: Ocean’s Projection and the Lost City_1

Over a month had passed, on a vacant land at the hillside of Baron Moro’s territory, the rough shape of a soap factory had begun to form.

Under the planning of Tartax and others, the expanded soap factory and blast furnace were all located behind the castle, to protect these two essential economic sources within the territory from sudden enemy attacks — the industrial zone.

The village also began to take shape.

Sixteen toll stations collected a total of twenty-five gold pounds during this period.

Meanwhile, many explorers passing through tried to cause trouble, but they were all suppressed by the Knight Griffin and the troops led by Rayli.

Troublemakers wanted to cause trouble, it would require an overwhelming scale to embolden them, otherwise, they could only scatter in a panic.

In the mirror space, as soon as Ivita placed her hand on the washbasin, the water inside the basin began to undergo a massive change. It spun rapidly as if it sensed her power.

Ivita looked down and saw that the bottom of the basin was incredibly deep, like a mirror.

She suddenly had a thought, remembering the inherent capabilities of the mirror space and how mirrors could magnify physical and mental states. She wondered what would happen if she used the spell of Spirit Mirror Divination on this water basin as if it were a mirror.

Wanting to experiment, she gently muttered the spell.

In an instant, she felt her spiritual power hitting something like a wall, but this wall was quickly broken by her potent spiritual power, and the water in the basin suddenly stopped.

From the side, the absent-minded Old Witch was the first to sense the massive change in magic power.

Something was wrong.

She noticed that the Water Magic power, which should have been surging like a great ocean tide, was suddenly stopped.

Completely stopped.

This was not a phenomenon that Water Palace Magic should have.

The Old Witch turned to Ivita, her face drastically changed, shouted: "What have you done?"

"Your Highness."

"What have you done?"

To stop the surging water magic is a very dangerous thing.

It’s like a speeding carriage stopping suddenly. It would result in immense impact force, even possibly causing the carriage to fall apart!

But Ivita seemed as if nothing had happened.

But the Old Witch could clearly feel that Ivita’s attention was not here.

Her attention had gone deep inside.

...

At this moment, Ivita’s sight arrived at the depths of her soul, a place shrouded in a white fog.

She knew this should be the structure of the Spirit Knowledge Mist.

According to the Old Witch, it is a power that wizards and witches have strived to steal from fate.

This soul structure can protect a wizard’s soul to the greatest extent. It is because of this structure that wizards dare to accommodate the Source of Magic in nature.

If one was to compare an ordinary person’s soul to the fragility of an egg’s yolk and egg white.

Then a wizard’s soul that possesses a Spirit Knowledge Mist structure would be very sturdy.

Within this fog-like world, Ivita saw a modern luxurious city in the dense fog. The streets were filled with a constant flow of people, towering buildings were everywhere, the unfamiliar yet familiar sound of car horns made Ivita suddenly freeze.

She found herself standing at a traffic light junction.

Cars surrounded her endlessly, and a bus passed by her side.

Ivita even had a sudden feeling of having travelled back in time.

The surrounding fog was growing thinner and almost entirely disappeared, the entire city began to feel real.

A traffic officer came over with a baton, signaling the cars around Ivita to give way to pedestrians. "Hey young man, what’s going on with you? Are you not blocking the traffic?"

Ivita raised her eyebrows and muttered to herself: "No need to worry."

"This is the Spirit Knowledge Mist structure of my soul."

"Everyone here isn’t real, they’re illusions."

Suddenly, the old traffic officer grabbed Ivita’s sleeve, trying to pull her away. "Dressing up in ancient clothes, are you putting on a performance art here?"

"Young man, let me tell you, you’d be very unlucky if it weren’t for your youth. You’re obstructing the traffic."

As he pulled Ivita away, she felt an overwhelming sense of reality.

The Old Traffic Officer babbled, "What’s real and what’s fake, it’s real if you think it’s real, it’s fake if you think it’s fake."

"Why is everything in this world so complicated?"

"There was a time when I thought my dreams were the reality and this city was the illusion."

"In my dreams, I’m just a 996 programmer, but in this world, I somehow became a traffic policeman. Ha-ha, I’ve got a iron rice bowl now, so I’d rather this be the real world."

Ivita looked utterly bewildered.

He was dragged to the traffic police booth and made to stand to the side.

Ivita had a feeling that something wasn’t quite right.

This city is definitely inside his soul, so it must be an illusion.

But are the people inside it, illusions too?

Is... his Spirit Knowledge Mist functioning normally?

He looked up and saw a six-winged giant dragon appear in the sky above the city. Yet, it seemed that the people of the city couldn’t see the dragon in the sky.

The six-winged giant dragon suddenly opened its vast mouth, "Wake up!"

"Wake up quickly!"

"This is the Lost City, the place of your subconscious. Here, if you lose yourself, even you would be submerged in the sea of consciousness."

"The Law of Alsace and your Spirit Knowledge Mist have formed this place. But if you want to wake up, you will wake up."

Under the agitation of the giant dragon, Ivita clutched his head, feeling as if something was trying to squeeze out of his brain.

Then, something actually emerged from his nose- a red door.

The door appeared beneath his feet and then opened instantly.

Ivita fell into the door, only to find out that the space behind the door was full of water.

The old traffic policeman hurriedly grabbed Ivita’s arms, trying to pull him back. "What are you doing trying to jump into the river? Come back up now."

Ivita was speechless, just let go, please.

I need to leave here!

If I get lost in my own soul structure, it would be too ridiculous.

The old policeman’s strength gradually waned and he reluctantly let go of Ivita, his expression full of guilt.

Ivita plunged into the water, catching glimpses of many things underwater, saw the entire outline of the sea which reflected in his right eye.

Then, he seemed to see the reflection of the glorious Dragon Palace in the water flow inside the sea.

’Boom~’

The old witch pulled Ivita out of the washbasin. "Why would you bury your head in the washbasin?"

"What were you doing?"

Ivita looked around and found himself back in the dark mirror space.

He glanced at the washbasin fearfully, noticing that the interior of the basin had undergone tremendous changes. The bottom of the basin seemed endless, as if it was connected to a whole ocean.

"I... don’t witches normally put their heads in basins? Shouldn’t be a big problem, right?" Ivita said to the old witch, panting.

The old witch looked troubled. "But you’ve had your head submerged in there for over an hour."

"I don’t understand how you managed to breathe in there?"

"Won’t you suffocate?"

"Even witches would suffocate in about half an hour or a quarter of an hour."

Ivita turned surprised eyes towards the old witch.

What?

He had stayed within his own soul for that long?

What was that Lost City?

Why does it feel like his soul is a huge treasure, so deep?

Ivita subconsciously wanted to lift the washbasin, but found the basin immovable.

This is bad.

Why has this thing become so heavy?

If he can’t move it out of the mirror space, how would he perform his spells with it?
