Chapter 159: Chapter 121: Searching for Other Sources of Magic and Becoming the Guild Leader of the Blacksmith Guild_1

After bidding farewell to the Bishop, Ivita and the Old Witch returned to the large house arranged for them by the Blacksmith Guild. They bathed and cleaned up. It was undeniable that the constitution of a wizard was truly powerful.

After just one night, Ivita rose from the bed to discover that all the wounds on his body had already healed.

He folded the woolen blanket, tidied up the room, and stepped out the door to find Griffin and Black Wolf, who hadn’t returned all night, standing in front of the doorway, seeping with the scent of alcohol, staggering drunk.

Ivita was simply amused by them.

Because among them, one was a Demon Hunter and one a Knight. They must have had to drink a lot to be this drunk.

Black Wolf and Griffin were rarely seen helping each other walk. If they didn’t, their unstable bodies wouldn’t even make a few steps before collapsing to the ground.

Ivita looked at them with a strange expression. "Did either of you consider that if we completed the trade today, we might leave Parviga today?"

Both were already out of their senses.

Black Wolf, in a daze, said: "I got my hands on a harpy just about to take a flight. I pulled her down from the sky; she was a fiery bird."

"What’s a harpy compared to... yesterday, there were so many..." slurred Griffin.

"..." Ivita.

Forget it.

Scolding drunkards is pointless. They would forget it anyway, so it’s better to wait until they sober up.

Ivita looked at the hired workers from the Guild inside the house and said, "Go wash them up and let them have some tea to sober up."

"Then help them to bed to sleep."

"Let the young girls stay away. We need some adult males here!"

To prevent any accidents, Ivita kept the maids away. If Griffin and Black Wolf caused any trouble, he would have a hard time dealing with it.

Because these people were employees, not servants.

Even though they were hired to work, it did not mean one could do whatever they wanted to them.

The most important thing is, to prevent any spies from infiltrating, Lady Alice arranged for only her own people to work here.

These employees were all daughters and wives, as well as sons of senior members of the Blacksmith Guild.

Ivita asked the Old Witch to supervise them. He didn’t want to damage his reputation in Parviga over such trivial matters.

Ivita strolled in the courtyard; he had gained quite a lot this time.

He had become extremely proficient in Throwing Magic, Flame Magic had also become far stronger. As for his control, it still needs improvement.

Besides that, he had also obtained three Magic Sources. As long as he learned one more Dragon Magic, he could attempt to convert the Water Dragon’s Tooth into his own Magic Source.

As for his left eye, it had to be shut half the time every day.

But that period was rapidly reducing.

The day he didn’t need to close his left eye would signify his full control over this Fire Magic.

While strolling, Ivita observed the ambiguous shapes– similar to Golden Raven, Phoenix, and Fire Bird – within the sea of fire, wearing a crown, with a tail resembling a snake.

This bird was formed mainly from Fire Bird Magic, incorporating elements from both Fire Giant and Eight-headed Fire Python, and it also stole some of his memories.

That’s why it looked so ambiguous.

Nonetheless, this means it has gained the intelligence of Fire Bird Magic, the Crown of Flames of the Fire Giants, and the regenerative powers of the Eight-headed Fire Python.

This fire was a mixed fire.

The direction it would take in the future depended on Ivita’s future self.

Besides, after suppressing the coup here, the War Magic increased once again.

However, it’s not enough.

The coup in Parviga was insignificant, it couldn’t form an independent Magic Source. It merely helped Ivita to increase his magic limit and learn Throwing Magic quickly while also strengthening the power of Charm Magic.

"Now that I have magic sources for three different attribute magics, in the present Ambros, I do not need to expend too much effort to find the Source of Magic for the attribute of War," Ivita thought. "I should look for the Source of Thunder Magic, Sky-Attribute Magic, and Destruction Magic."

"Last time, the plague I created in the Son of Forest’s army increased the power of my Destruction Magic, but I believe not everything causing destruction is a plague. There should be other forms of destruction."

Creating another plague comes with too high a risk.

He could create a plague among Sons of Forest, but if he did so among humans, he might become public enemy number one. One misstep, and he’d have the world against him.

"It is also tough to find the Source of Sky-Attribute Magic."

"I can ponder these matters once I am back at my domain."

Ivita started thinking. "Besides, there’s the Elven necklace that I received from Duke Protector of Florcana’s daughter, Miss Alexei, and the treasure map given to me by the Centurion of the Black Feet Army."

Opening his hands, a sheepskin scroll the size of a small finger appeared.

He unrolled it and held it under the sun, finding some odd patterns made with charcoal, consisting of triangles, circles, squares, and rectangles.

It was clear that the treasure map was encrypted with a code. The water pirates of the Blue Lady would presumably be the only ones who knew what the patterns meant.

If he truly wanted to uncover the treasure hidden in this map, his best bet would be to capture a sailor from the Blue Lady.
