This move instantly won the approval of the other chiefs. Upon returning to Leon, Dragumo soon carried out significant downsizing of his armed forces, reducing the ten thousand armed slaves under his control down to three thousand people. However, no one was concerned about these issues, which were for the rulers to consider. The Leon nobles had left behind a sizable fortune, enough to sustain for a while.
