Chapter 76: Colossal Sea Serpent, SSS-Rank

While sleeping underwater, I naturally couldn’t breathe. But then again, I’m not a normal human being to begin with. Although being unable to breathe was definitely uncomfortable, I had somehow grown accustomed to it over time. After spending weeks here, I guess you could say I sorta got used to it, so it didn’t bother me as much anymore.

Based on the taste of the water here, if I had to describe it, I would say it was unpleasant and very sour. In short, I knew for sure it had an acidic taste, and I could feel my mouth burning slightly. Fortunately, my body was strong enough to handle the acidic water, and all that thanks to my high level as well as my regeneration skill.

As I continued to sleep in this acidic, stomach-like environment, I could occasionally feel the water shifting in waves, a sign of the sea monster’s movements. Lately, though, this sea monster has been moving much more frequently, and I can’t figure out why. Perhaps its inability to digest me has led to some sort of digestive issue? Who knows.

However, it doesn’t matter much right now. Today will be my last day sleeping here anyway. Tomorrow, or once I’ve rested enough, I’ll be getting the hell out of here for good. Well, if this sea creature ends up spitting me out because it’s unable to digest me, I guess that works out too. For now, though, I’ll focus on sleeping and resting first in order to prepare for tomorrow.

After all, once I manage to get out of here tomorrow, I’ll be floating in the middle of nowhere, lost in the vast, endless ocean. The waters will be teeming with all kinds of powerful, colossal sea monsters—creatures that could easily tear through anything in their path.

To have any chance of surviving, let alone fighting them, I’ll need an immense amount of energy. I can’t afford to die again and wait another few weeks to recover; I just don’t have the patience for that. So, for now, it’s time to rest and recharge, and we’ll see how things go tomorrow.

A few hours later...

In the vast, prehistoric ocean, inside the enormous belly of a Giant Sea Turtle, our main character, Sol Gaseo, was fast asleep, completely unaware of anything happening outside. He was submerged in the stomach acid, the warmth and strangeness of it all making him feel oddly at ease.

It was mostly quiet and calm inside the turtle, occasionally getting a little rough, but overall, it was peaceful. The only sounds were the muffled noises from the ocean outside, but even those were faint, barely loud enough to disturb his peaceful sleep.

Everything had been quite peaceful for what felt like forever, but that all changed in a second. Suddenly, a massive shadow appeared in the water, and out of nowhere, a massive Megalodon Shark shot up from the depths, moving faster than you’d expect for something so huge.

It slammed into the Giant Sea Turtle with a huge crash, its jaws wide open as it tore into the turtle with all the power it had. Despite the brutal attack, the turtle fought back fiercely, thrashing in the water as it tried to shake off the predator.

ROAAARRR!!!

The Giant Sea Turtle let out a thunderous roar as it fought back. However, despite its impressive length of 75 feet and its thick body, it faced the Colossal Megalodon, which measured a staggering 150 feet. The battle was brief, with the Megalodon swiftly emerging victorious and devouring the defeated turtle whole.

Meanwhile, Gaseo, who had been sleeping inside the Giant Sea Turtle’s stomach, was killed in his sleep, along with the turtle. The worst part was that he never even realized he was already dead—everything happened so fast, there was simply no time to react. The Megalodon’s powerful bite crushed his body, along with the prehistoric turtle, leaving them both with no chance of survival.

Ding!

[Game over! You have died!]

Previously, Gaseo’s body had endured the stomach acid of the Giant Sea Turtle, but now he faced a new challenge—the corrosive digestive fluids of the Megalodon, which were many times more deadlier than the Giant Turtle’s.

Unlike the Giant Sea Turtle, which was only an S-Rank sea monster, this Megalodon was even stronger, at the level of SS-Rank. In other words, while Gaseo could survive the turtle’s stomach acid, surviving the Megalodon’s acid would be far more challenging, requiring much more time for him to regenerate back to life and be fully recovered.

As if being trapped inside the Megalodon’s stomach wasn’t bad enough, things quickly took an even more unexpected turn. Out of nowhere, a massive 275-foot Giant Sea Serpent appeared and launched itself at the Megalodon, sparking an intense battle between the two.

ROAAARRR!!!

The clash didn’t last long, though. Despite the Megalodon’s immense size and strength, the Colossal Sea Serpent emerged victorious, effortlessly overpowering its foe. Without hesitation, the Sea Serpent moved in and began devouring the defeated Megalodon, swallowing it whole as if it were no more than a snack.

In contrast to the Megalodon’s stomach acid, the Giant Sea Serpent’s digestive fluids were far deadlier and more potent. While the Megalodon was incredibly powerful at the SS-Rank level, the Giant Sea Serpent operated on an entirely different scale, standing at the formidable SSS-Rank level. In other words, Gaseo now faced an even far greater challenge: surviving the overwhelming power of an SSS-Rank stomach acid.

A few months later...

Time seemed to blur inside the Colossal Sea Serpent’s stomach. Every passing minute, second, hour, or even week felt like an endless loop for Gaseo’s body. It was stuck in a constant, agonizing cycle—regenerating just enough to survive, only to be dissolved again by the serpent’s incredibly corrosive stomach acid.

The process was relentless and unyielding, yet through it all, Gaseo remained unconscious, completely unaware of the horrifying reality unfolding around him.
