"Hmm, there sure are a lot of people attending today."

"Yes, President, they’re all eager to really please and meet you. After all, it has been long that you have appeared in a public banquet."

Dan and Liam casually conversed on their way through the event, an action that made Dan feel so relaxed because his boss has never treated him as a mere subordinate, but he has treated him as a brother, despite the fact that he is just an employee.

"Speaking of which, you should go pick your bonus first thing tomorrow morning. Of course, for choosing a suit that resembles my wife’s eyes."

Daniel felt his hands on the steering wheel trembled with extreme excitement and happiness. He didn’t expect to be complimented by his boss for that action. At that time, he only felt like maybe his boss was going to forget about it or was going to treat it as just a by the way, but who knew he was going to treat his actions very well?

Silence immediately emanated into their car the moment their conversation ended as Daniel focused on driving, his mind thinking on how he was going to pick his juicy bonus.

On the other hand, Liam was thinking on how he was going to restamp his authority back because he felt like people were trying to joke with him of late, sending wedding proposals to him, flirting with him openly just because they heard his wife was in a coma, he felt like he had to remind these people who he is and who his wife is.

As the car was pulling towards the banquet event, everyone inside immediately went quiet the moment they heard the murmurs that President Yang was already here.

Mothers could be seen immediately readjusting their clothes of their daughters as the other businessmen could be seen immediately preparing themselves mentally and physically to finally meet with President Yang once again or President Yang/President Lu starting from tonight.

Mothers made sure to point their daughters as very innocent girls, because they feel like Liam has dealt with the ferocious type and the and the confident type like Jane before, and maybe this time around, because he’s finally a father, he would want a gentle beauty beside him.

The moment the moderator of the event immediately said this, cameras could be seen shattering in each and every direction, most of them looking for President Yang and the moment Liam stepped out of his car, the flashlights and cameras immediately turned towards him as if they intended to blind him, but because the man has been accustomed with the media, he immediately stood still, as if nothing could shatter him or nothing could break him.

The reporter’s could be seen immediately readjusting their shutter speeds as they focused on this very man, this one mighty man, this cold noble man, the man that intended to shut down the whole event this evening. They just couldn’t get enough of him and as they study these suits, some of them immediately came to the conclusion of why he chose this color! Jane’s eyes were of the same color!!

Everyone else clapped as he readjusted his microphone because they felt the love that he had for Jane was so deep that he was even ready to take her foreign company announced higher than his own company just because his own wife or his own woman wished to do that.

His deep voice equally acted like an automatic command to them and they couldn’t help but struggle to hold in their thoughts because this man a perfect everything!!

The Pamela in question almost stumbled and fell out of her seat because she was so shocked. She is just an old woman who’s making her living in in Lu cooperation, someone who has overseen the activities of Lu cooperation for years, and with 30 years of experience working for Lu corporation, she can be said to know the nook and crack of the company, making her suitable for the role since she was not only hardworking and extremely strict, but a loyal woman too.

Liam looked at the woman who was almost the age of his mother, and he couldn’t but help respectfully welcome her onto the podium, understanding that this was a shock to her because she was not informed in advance. Pamela gently smiled at the crowd as she thanked Liam, proceeding to explain to the crowd how she is shocked because she was not even informed of this position, something that made most of the people in the crowd feel so envious of her because for her to get this kind of recognition from President Yang, it means that she has been working and she has been doing her job well.

The moment Pamela realized that Liam had already retreated and did not intend to speak further, she immediately took up her role as she dismissed the people, feeling so good and feeling so powerful.

This only meant that she was going to get paid five times higher than what she was getting paid and this only meant that her family was going to live a better and the sweeter life. What more could she ask for?
