"Hold on Aunt Em. You’re telling me that I could be having a father right now? Well... a well deserving dad. Come on, mom. What are you waiting for? You deserve the best of the best. Take that from your one and only beloved daughter...duh.."

As if there was a switch on Rose’s body that had been switched on, the quiet girl immediately spoke out, making the rest of the family laugh out loud. as Emily observed Rose, who should belived was Rebecca’s daughter.

Rick scratched the back of his head in embarrassment as he immediately looked down at his shoes, suddenly finding them so interesting that they the whole room started bursting with laughter once again.

"OK, OK, love, Let them relax. Let the two love birds figure out their emotions."

Daniel realized that if he was not going to intervene, his assistant and his sister-in-law were going to be fried out by his woman and therefore decided to save them from her claws.

"Fine!"

Emily rolled her eyes at Daniel as she tried looking at her fingers, finding her manicure to be so, so disgusting.. maybe she should get it done immediately.

"OK, so Emily, we have the Lu family, the Zhang family, the Mo family, the Yang family, the Mu family.

These are families that have stuck to each other for ages, and these are families that we look up to, the families that hold each other anytime one is down. So basically we are one big family, the Huang family included. These are the people who run Country X."

Emily carefully observed each one of them as they all started introducing themselves, and the more she heard their names, saw their temperance and everything, the more she became pleased.

She observed Rose for a longer period of time as she turned to look at her sister, raising her eyebrows as if asking her if there is something she missed.

Rebecca rolled her eyes at this investigative sister of hers, but still explained everything to her.

The more Emily heard these, the more disgusted she felt towards Jonathan and the more pained she felt on behalf of her sister. If only Emily knew that the moment she would get to know what happened to Nicole, she was going to go on a real, real...hunt one full of bloodlust and zero forgiveness.

The more everyone introduced themselves, the more Emily felt at peace and felt at home. She observed the madams of the different families carefully, The likes of mother Lu, Mother Yang ,Mother Mo, mother Zhang and Mother Mu and she felt like she would really fit into their little society. If anything, she was really excited to go on some girl trips, to just have fun with people her own age and people who she would feel comfortable with.

"Well...that being said, we welcome you to the Big Six. Welcome, Emily. Where we treat each other as one big family. Where are you can be Jane’s mother. Where Jane can call you mom. Where you can be Liam’s mother. You can be anyone’s mother. Anyone...welcome girl."

Grandma Yang spoke with a lot of sweetness that Emily couldn’t help but shed some little bit of tears, making all of them end up in emotional states.

That being said, they had decided that they were going to take Emily out of this place and take her into the Lu family, where her parents resided and apparently were Daniel was going to reside for the time being.

This made Mother Lu clap her hands in happiness and excitement because to her, the more the merrier. She could even teach Emily one or two things that have changed in these times.

Under Daniels careful guidance, Emily was Perfectly transferred into the Lu mansion, where she continued recovering in a slow but perfect state, everyone displaying their love and affection towards her.

"I was afraid to ask when we were with the rest, but I want to know right now, and do not lie to me, Daniel, what exactly happened that led me to the state and what happened with our daughters?"

Emily asked in a full state of cautiousness as she maintained eye contact with Daniel, not intending to miss any of his reactions.

"Love.. I...I think it’s better for you to recover first before you know each and every..."

"Shut it, Daniel. Just shut up! You know how much I’ve missed and how much it eats me every day that I gave birth to two daughters but never once took care of them? Do you know how much it eats me as a mother? Do you know how much it bothers me that maybe my children went through something they shouldn’t have gone through? So unless you’re going to tell me that. Do not speak to me, Do not talk to me, Do not look for me, Do not do anything! Please leave."

Emily felt so, so agitated seeing Daniel still intending to hide something from her, and from his reaction she could tell that whatever he was hiding was nowhere near good. If anything, it is something that was meant to shatter her but she needed to know the truth. She needed to know what exactly happened... Or what took place that bothered him this much.

Daniel sighed in defeat as he immediately positioned himself in a perfect manner before taking her hands into his as he laid a small kiss on them, covering them with his as he turned to look at her carefully, While mentally preparing himself to spill out the truth.

"Em... I find this hard to say, but you should also know. Our daughter, Nicole.. was molested and was tortured by the Xi family. Our daughter, Mary, was hidden in the orphanage where she was ridiculed,bullied and before that, she was used as a test subject... I... Oh Lord, please help me! Mary’s growth conditions created a monster in her. Despite the fact that our daughter looks innocent and sweet, there is a dark side hidden in her. A dark side that will never be able to be erased. Despite the fact that Nicole smiles each and every time, there is a dark past that can never be erased. A dark past. "It pains me Emily. It’s hurts! It really does. I might look like I’m OK all the time, but deep down I feel like a failure. You wanna know why? Despite the fact that I am the don of the underworld, my woman was snatched from me. My daughters were hurt and all my resources were just so stupid that I couldn’t find anything about them. The more Daniel spoke, the softer his voice became. Anger, nervousness, pain, more pain... There was more than what was being displayed on his face, in his emotions and his voice that Emily could pick, and the more she listened to him, the more she sobbed. The harder she cried. The amount of guilt in her had doubling, tripling even.

She was left speechless. Completely speechless.

"Our daughter was molested."

"A monster was created out of our daughter."

These were the only words that continuously rang in Emily’s mind to a point that she just sat dazed, staring at the wall, scaring the heck out of Daniel. No matter how much he shook her, no matter how much he tried tapping her shoulder, she did not fuss. She just sat still. Tears streaming down her cheeks. No, words being said, nothing being uttered, just complete silence that was bound to welcome a very scary Emily.

"I do not care what you do, Daniel. I want the Xi family. I WANT THE XI FAMILY!"

"I do not care if you’re going to use all the connections that you have, but I want them, ALIVE."

Emily thought that Daniel was going to deny her request due to the silence that he had portrayed after her speaking, but as she turned to look at him, she saw his eyes blazing with anger, and the moment their eyes met, the man uttered quite a few words that immediately sealed the fate of the Xi family and anyone who had messed with them.

"That makes the two of us my love and what my queen wants, My queen gets."

They both smirked at each other as they helped each other wipe their tears off, mentally and physically preparing themselves because they were about to reign terror as a couple. Not as an individual, but as a power couple. They were about to reign extreme terror.
