Mary looked at Ian as he went to the shower but for some reason the girl felt so guilty to deny him something that was 100% completely his right. She smiled before picking one of his t-shirts and putting it on since his apartment did not have any of her clothes. She tied her hair perfectly and applied some oil on her skin before heading to bed and without any thought the girl climbed on it as she faced the other side away from the bathroom her mind full of thoughts.

"Will he start treating me differently?" The girl questioned her self as she remembered Ian’s expression earlier. Being someone who has handled alot of people in the underworld, she knew how to manipulate and read people’s mind no matter how much they would hide their feelings or their true intentions and she was 100% sure she was able to see some hurt in Ian’s eyes even though the man ended up comforting her and going back for another cold shower just because of her.

What made Mary panic was the fact that someone had never treated her this nice even after knowing her true identity. She can say that all she knows is that she is really lucky to be able to find a husband and yet she doesn’t even want to commit to her husband yet the man accepted her the way she was. Her mind was full of thoughts that the girl did not realise when she started crying.

On the other hand Ian stood under the cold shower but he knew very well that the shower was not doing him any justice as his mind was completely filled with whatever happened minutes ago but he knew he had to try and keep it aside for him to relax and to go back to his wife. He was very much aware that he wanted her to trust him and that he wanted her to be open with him in everything they did but he also knew better than to force her into things she was not ready to do. It took him approximately 30 minutes to finally get out of the shower and the moment he got into the bedroom, he had sniffles as if someone was crying.

He quickly rushed to the closet and put something on before drying his hair and heading to his own side of the bed where he was able to see his woman crying making him panic for the first time. Without saying a word, the man got into the bed and scooped her making her face lie on his chest startling the girl who tried to wipe away the tears but it was too late.

Why are you crying Wifey? What is wrong? Have I made a mistake? I’m sorry if I have done anything to hurt you." The man quickly apologized but he did not realise he was making things worse as this was even making Mary feel more guilty than she was earlier. "I’m so sorry Ian, I have not been able to perform my wife duties even after promising to perform everything just as I should. I am sorry for making you feel bad, I’m sorry for everything and.. and...and... I am ready for anything or rather...everything."

The girl said in between her tears making Ian realise what everything was about but before she could open her mouth to say yet another thing, the man decided to shut her up the only way he knew would work. He quickly slammed his lips on hers shutting up the girl immediately and after a long, slow and soothing kiss, he finally cut the kiss short as he looked at her.

"You are not a slave but you are my wife and I repeat, my wife and therefore as from today this is a rule my dear. As from today, I don’t want you to do anything that you know you are not ready for just to please me. I remember telling you that I want everything to be out of our love for each other and I want to make love to you when you equally desire me not when you feel like we should produce offsprings for the Mo Family or when you feel like you should satisfy my sexual desires. This is so wrong wifey and I don’t want you to think about anything that happened tonight unless of course you’re ready otherwise I just want you to relax your mind."

He kissed her on the forehead when he felt her silently nod as he ran his hand through her hair and before the man realised it, his woman was finally asleep making him release sighs of relief as he knew sleep will help her calm herself down. "Goodnight my beautiful wife." He wished her a good night even if the girl was already asleep and within minutes the man also fell asleep because he was tired from the mission and he needed enough rest.

The couple slept peacefully not knowing that the next day they were going to be the talk of the whole country with almost everyone speculating a lot of things from a simple article that was going to rise in the middle of the night.
