Chapter 91: Chapter 91

Villa’s back garden.

Rong Zhi sat on a stone bench, Bai Su sat across from him, and two steaming cups of tea were placed on the high-quality marble tabletop.

Bai Su casually turned the teacup, his refined and passionate face showing a half-smile, "So... sister?"

Rong Zhi frowned slightly and nodded.

Explaining the affairs of the Rong Family wasn’t particularly difficult; it was just that there were intricacies Rong Zhi didn’t care to mention, so she altered the content slightly to explain it to him, and the end result was more or less the same.

She was genuinely a girl, through and through.

After finishing her explanation, she even felt a sense of relief, as if some invisible pressure that had been weighing on her dispersed halfway, leaving her feeling much lighter.

Understanding this, Rong Zhi no longer felt awkward. She recalled another issue, took a sip of warm tea, and asked, "Do you like me?"

Bai Su paused for a moment before a very light, slow chuckle escaped from his throat, "Is that not allowed?"

Of course not.

She wasn’t gay.

Rong Zhi: "Don’t like me, I..."

"But Rong Zhi," Bai Su blinked, sounding a bit innocent, "The way you look at me is not exactly innocent, so what you’re saying is impossible."

Rong Zhi: "..."

She touched her forehead with some helplessness, "I’m female, and since you like boys, you can’t like me."

Bai Su: "???"

Since when did he like boys???

What kind of misunderstanding happened in between???

"Little brother, I think I need to clarify my sexual orientation."

The man put down the teacup, got up, placing both hands on the stone table’s edge, leaning closer to the youth, his lowered gaze breathing in a mix of the youth’s mint-scented wood and sandalwood.

The garden’s warm yellow nightlight spilled onto the man, adding a touch of mystery to his already handsome and defined features, his pretty peach blossom eyes revealing a hint of warmth.

His gaze lowered, and the youth slightly raised his head, his neck appearing even more long and fair, with the loose collar exposing skin that shimmered like jade.

Bai Su reached out, slowly pinching one side of her cheek, speaking leisurely, "Do you remember the question I asked you before? Whatever you are, that’s what I like."

Upon hearing this, Rong Zhi pursed her lips, not bothering about him pinching her cheek again.

The parts she found odd at the time seemed to have an explanation now.

She pondered for a moment before suddenly realizing, "You knew already?"

The stunned look on the little brother’s face was really cute.

Bai Su released his hand, taking advantage of her moment of surprise to gently press somewhere warm and cool, the corners of his lips curling up, "From the start."

His voice was hoarse, restrained yet alluring, his warm breath caressing the skin, creating an endless ambiguity in the air.

He saw through her at first glance.

Honestly, the youth’s outfit was too careless; had she spent some effort disguising her identity, maybe he’d really be fooled.

Who let his little brother be so unique?

Beautifully ambiguous, and the aura in every gesture didn’t resemble that of an ordinary girl.

Truly, she’s special.

Bai Su focused on the youth’s clear and cold eyes, his hand unconsciously rubbing against a certain place.

Rong Zhi: "..."

Where is he touching?!

Rong Zhi raised her hand and smacked away the hand creating chaos at her collarbone with great force, a resounding "slap" that sounded painful.

"Stay away from me," she said coldly.

Bai Su lightly bit the corner of his lip with his tongue, his gaze pausing as he spoke with peculiar softness, seemingly quite sincerely, "A hit is affection, a scold is love. Is the little brother trying to get closer? I understand."

Rong Zhi: "...kiss your mom."

Bai Su shook his head earnestly, "Don’t kiss my mom, kiss me."

Rong Zhi: "..."

This guy is so annoying!!

...

The two returned to the dining room, where Fu Liang and Xu Ningxing were enthusiastically cooking hot pot, mostly with Xu Ningxing adding and removing items, while Fu Liang was responsible for eating.

When Rong Zhi and Bai Su entered, Xu Ningxing watched them out of the corner of his eye, and only relaxed when he saw the distance between them widen significantly.

Once Rong Zhi sat down, he handed over a bowl filled with food, saying lightly, "Senior sister, eat more."

Rong Zhi accepted it, "Mm, you too."

Fu Liang ate in between, noticing Bai Su being neglected, and slightly frowned, "Star, serve Mr. Bai too."

Xu Ningxing replied coldly, "He’s got hands and feet."

Fu Liang responded sternly, "Mr. Bai is a guest."

Xu Ningxing: "..."

The junior apprentice reluctantly served food to certain someone.

Rong Zhi couldn’t bear to watch and picked up public chopsticks and a slotted spoon, "I’ll do it."

She scanned the dining table and picked out a few dishes she vaguely remembered Bai Su liked, put them in the clear soup to scald, and when they were done, she served them into Bai Su’s bowl.

Bai Su’s gaze fell onto the celery in his bowl and felt slightly surprised.

Rong Zhi noticed and couldn’t help but ask, "Not to your taste? There’s plenty on the table, do it yourself?"

Bai Su smiled faintly, his empty heart seemingly filled by something, his peach blossom eyes curved into crescent moons, anyone could feel his mood was joyful.

"No, I like it very much." He finished the celery and pushed the bowl forward, his tone soft and light, "More of Zhi Zhi’s cooking."

The pair of master and apprentice exchanged glances.

Fu Liang was okay.

Xu Ningxing’s aura instantly froze over.

Bai Su ate contentedly despite their stares, with all his attention on a particular youth.

The meal was intense.

In the evening, Bai Su naturally stayed at the villa overnight, but there were no vacant rooms, so Fu Liang thought for a long time and suggested, "Star, share a room with Mr. Bai."

Xu Ningxing crossed his arms, his rosy lips pressed tightly shut, his refusal was obvious.

Fu Liang rubbed his temples in frustration, "Star, today... what on earth are you doing?"

"Sleep in my room."

"No way!"

Almost the second Rong Zhi finished speaking, Xu Ningxing responded immediately.

Rong Zhi yawned, her eye corners were stained with a vague sense of drowsiness, "It’s fine, he’ll sleep in mine, I’ll go to Yao Yao’s room."

After driving all day, she was truly tired.

Xu Ningxing wanted to say more, but Bai Su didn’t give him the chance.

Holding a phone in one hand, Bai Su lazily replied, "Alright, I’ll follow Zhi Zhi’s arrangements," just before Xu Ningxing could speak.

Ah, sleeping in the room where the little brother slept, one round that makes them almost bed companions.

Indeed, chasing across thousands of miles was worthwhile, and the gains were significant.

...

The sisters’ rooms were on the third floor, opposite each other.

Rong Zhi lived on the right side, her room’s style matched her personality exceptionally well, with a pale blue tone, as minimalist as possible, but against the wall, there was a large storage rack, sparsely filled with various items.

"Towels and toothbrush are here, if anything is missing, go down and get it yourself, it’s in the cabinet next to the TV."

Rong Zhi handed the items to Bai Su.

Bai Su chuckled, accepting them, "Thank you, little brother, for taking care of these details for me, but, little brother, not coming in?"

Rong Zhi’s fox-like eyes were clearly vivid, calmly gazing at him.

Bai Su lowered his gaze slightly, slowly leaning closer, almost touching her fair ear, his voice lazy and alluring, "Without little brother warming the bed, sleeping alone is too cold."

Rong Zhi expressionlessly reached out and gave his chest a firm shove.
