Chapter 618: Chapter 619: The Legendary Five Times Experience Status! Myth!
When the mentor’s building was upgraded to level 8, Chu You learned that as a mentor, he had a total of three apprentice slots. Each apprentice must reach level 100 before they can graduate and only then can the apprentice become a mentor themselves, guiding players who are under level 100.
It must be stressed again, during this period, an apprentice who has not graduated cannot become a mentor, no matter what happens. Whether the mentor-apprentice relationship is dissolved by the mentor or severed by guild reasons, an apprentice of a mentor cannot become a mentor until they have reached level 100.
The same rules apply to mentors. Once a mentor takes on an apprentice, they cannot become the apprentice of another, higher-level mentor. If a mentor wishes to become an apprentice, they must first ensure that all of their current apprentices have graduated - this is a prerequisite!
It is also not possible for a mentor to both take on and become an apprentice at the same time - the mentor-apprentice rewards system enforces this limitation.
Once someone becomes a mentor, it is, essentially, a commitment for life.
This information is conveyed to the players by an NPC, who emphasizes the importance of fully understanding the rules before hastily becoming a mentor at level 30. Those who rush into the role without understanding the regulations may find themselves regretting their decision. Not only will they lose their valuable apprentice slots and the rewards that come with them, but they will also forfeit their mentor honor achievement rewards!
A mentor who successfully graduates three apprentices will receive a mentor honor achievement reward!
In other words: the mentor’s honor achievement contains enhancements to the mentor’s attributes.
A mentor who graduates five apprentices will receive: the grand mentor honor achievement reward, and the prestigious title: Grand Mentor!
A mentor who graduates ten apprentices will receive: the VIP mentor honor achievement reward, and the prestigious title: VIP Honor Mentor!
VIP mentors can also guide players who are over level 100!
Players who are over level 100 and wish to continue having a mentor will have to find a VIP mentor, otherwise, they will only be able to level up by themselves.
If a player who has become a mentor decides to become an apprentice, they will no longer be eligible to receive mentor honor achievements.
Also, given the current situation, only the NAP Guild of North America and the Immortal Guild of Huaxia have the mentor system and can have mentors.
Chu You in his field of vision was looking at the guild skill interface, with his gaze focusing on the mentor skill icon. This skill icon was now in an unlocked state, but it had no level.
The next moment he made up his mind, the System’s prompt came.
System: It takes Gold Coins: 300000 to unlock the mentor skill and requires strategic resources: Mercury: 5000, Crystals: 3000, Gemstones: 2000.
Chu You quickly confirmed it and the sound of gold coins being deducted immediately rang out.
Now, the guild’s mentor skill was at level 1!
Guild Mentor Skill Level 1 Attributes Detail: The experience value gained by the player’s apprentice increased from the original 40% to 50%! Also, all mentors of the guild increase their apprentice slots by one!
Guild Mentor Skill Level 2 only increases the experience gained by the apprentice, and no longer increases the mentor’s apprentice slots. Required Gold Coins: 500000, unspecified strategic resources.
Guild Mentor Skill Level 3, the experience value gained by player’s apprentice was increased from the original 60% to 70%, and one apprentice slot was added. The required Gold Coins: 800000, unspecified strategic resources.
Guild Mentor Skill Level 4, the experience value gained by player’s apprentice was increased from the original 70% to 80%, and no apprentice slots were added, Required Gold Coins: 1,200,000, unspecified strategic resources.
Guild Mentor Skill Level 5, the experience value gained by player’s apprentice was increased from the original 80% to 90%, and one apprentice slot was added, Required Gold Coins: 1,800,000, unspecified strategic resources.
Guild Mentor Skill Level 6, the experience value gained by player’s apprentice was increased from the original 90% to 100%, and two apprentice slots were added, Required Gold Coins: 2,500,000, unspecified strategic resources.
Guild Mentor Skill Level 7, the experience value gained by player’s apprentice was increased from the original 100% to 120%, open the mentor mode, and all attributes of both sides increased 10% with three more apprentice slots added, Required Gold Coins: 3,000,000, unspecified strategic resources.
Guild Mentor Skill Level 8, the experience value gained by player’s apprentice was increased from the original 120% to 150%, open the mentor mode, all attributes of both sides increased 22% with three more apprentice slots added, Required Gold Coins: 3,800,000, unspecified strategic resources.
As Chu You advanced level by level, the guild’s mentor skill had been pushed to level 8 by him, which is the current highest level!
If Chu You really became a mentor, then he would have 14 apprentice slots!
If the NAP Guild in North America and the Immortal Guild are compared on this measure - mentors in the opposing guilds could only extract 40% experience from killing experience monsters, whereas, mentors in the Immortal Guild would help their apprentices gain 150% experience from defeating the same creature!
If an experience monster gave 100 points of experience, the NAP Guild could only receive 40 points, whereas the Immortal Guild could receive 150 points by defeating the same monster!
But is that really the whole story? Definitely not!
After Chu You maxed out the guild’s mentor skill, all the other guild skills, which were previously at level 7, are now at level 8!
The current buff status of Chu You’s level-eight ’Immortal’ Guild is as follows:
Guild members get an additional 100% experience when hunting, up from the previous 70%. This means if you kill a monster with a base experience of 100, you actually gain 200 experience points. This is different from how mentor skill experience gains are calculated.
These are additional gains, which means that the base 100 experience points are then doubled by a 100% increase!
The guild mentor skill is calculated based on the percentage of total monster experience, not an additional bonus. This is an important distinction.
With the current buff, an apprentice in the Immortal Guild who kills a monster with a base experience value of 100 will receive a total of 300 experience points. This is the equivalent of killing three monsters at once, effectively tripling their experience gain!
If the apprentice then purchases a superior experience charm from the Black Cloud Trade Group, they will be in a five times experience status. Of course, this buff only lasts an hour. If they kill an elite experience monster worth 10 million experience points, the apprentice will receive 50 million points!
Superior experience charms can only be used up to level 100. If you want to gain experience charms after level 100, you must use superior experience charms, otherwise other experience charms will have no effect.
You can imagine if Chu You takes on 14 apprentices, these 14 players will be like gods!
Of course, the prerequisite for mentor mode is that they must form a team. Once the team is formed, the mentor can open mentor mode. In Team mode or any other mode, mentor mode cannot be activated.
This means Chu You can accompany five apprentices at a time, forming a six-person team. However, in team mode there’s a division of spoils according to experience point allocation, based on team members’ levels. If all five apprentices have the same level, then the base 100 experience points from a monster will be split evenly; each apprentice receives 20 points. Tripling that amount thanks to the Immortal Guild buff gives each apprentice 60 points. If they purchase an experience charm, it will multiply their gain to 100 points per monster.
Just upgrading the guild’s mentor skill cost Chu You a total of 13.9 million gold coins! Not to mention the other guild skills and the Eye of Arrays. And also, the massive strategic resources!
As a result, Chu You’s own stash of gold coins went from 5.45 billion to 5.24 billion gold coins.
