Chapter 437: Chapter 438: Educating Bao’er, in Turn being Educated (Third Update)

Although Bao’er didn’t understand the reason, she obediently closed the door.

She glanced at the Game Pod in the bedroom and secretly thought that it must belong to Sister Luo. Finally, she took her place next to Chu You.

"Bao’er, give me your phone."

The doubt in her eyes deepened. She carefully took out her phone from her pocket and handed it to Chu You.

He swiped the phone screen a few times, unlocked it, then went into the chat group. He found that the ’Angel’s Smiling Valley Wings’ chat group was still there, but it was quiet with no new messages.

"Bao’er, when I gave you this phone, it was to keep you from getting too bored. Of course, I miss you a lot. In order for us to maintain a conversation without any distance, I decided to buy you a phone," Chu You said in a calm tone, clearly enunciating each word. Bao’er listened solemnly, watching him intently.

"Now the internet is full of information, a lot of which is unhealthy. You have to sift through all this, but considering your age, it’s difficult for you to distinguish what’s good and bad."

"Be sure to avoid the unhealthy information, as it can harm your mental and physical health."

"Did I do something wrong, Brother You?" Bao’er, sensing that Chu You had an implicit message in his words, asked in a low, nervous voice.

"Bao’er, you didn’t do anything wrong. But I think it’s time to remind and correct you. We’re children without parents, relying solely on each other. If one of us strays from the right path, the other should caution him or her. Bao’er, you’re still in elementary school. Technically, you should not even have a cellphone. It’s just a communication tool. So, why don’t you delete all the unnecessary apps from your phone? If not, haha..." While saying this, Chu You broke into a smile: "I will confiscate your phone, just don’t blame me."

After finishing his sentence, Chu You pushed the exit key, returning the phone to its home screen, and then handed it back to Bao’er.

Bao’er looked down at the phone, blinked, and said, "Okay, I got it. I’ll delete them now." She then deleted all three downloaded apps, showing him, "I won’t download any apps in the future. I’ll focus on studying." She spoke carefully, afraid of upsetting him.

Despite his attempt to maintain a gentle tone and relaxed expression, Bao’er was visibly nervous and frightened. After all, they hadn’t spent much time together.

Seeing Bao’er’s reaction, Chu You’s heart softened. In a fond tone, he said, "Aside from social networking apps, it’s alright to download small games or news apps. But you have to learn to control yourself."

"Okay..." Bao’er replied quietly. She probably wouldn’t touch any app for a long time.

Remembering the way Bao’er hugged him from behind at home, Chu You’s heart softened again. He opened his arms and beckoned in a soft voice, "Bao’er, I want to hug you."

Bao’er looked up at him, her eyes lively. The next moment, she took a step forward and threw herself into Chu You’s arms. The two of them embraced, with Bao’er resting her head on his shoulder and her arms wrapped gently around his back.

He also hugged Bao’er back, burying his face in her hair to inhale her sweet scent. His hands lightly caressed her petite back. At this moment, an image of an adult Bao’er flashed through his mind, but he quickly dispelled it.

"As your guardian, sometimes it’s my duty to give you guidance. You’re not angry at me, are you?" He said in a cheery tone.

Bao’er, who had been resting her head on his shoulder, immediately shook her head. The strength of her hug increased slightly.

After 4 seconds of tender embrace, he was the first to let go. But Bao’er seemed to want to stay in his arms a little longer and didn’t move.

"Okay now, sit up straight. If we continue like this, I’m going to fall back on the bed." Chu You, sitting on the edge of the bed without anything to lean on, spoke somewhat uncomfortably.

"Hee hee... Ah." A soft laugh came from his ear. Bao’er set her feet on the ground, exerting a slight force. Suddenly, Chu You felt a small body propelling itself against him, and he was subsequently toppled onto the bed.

Bao’er also fell down with him. Soon, they landed on the bed, one on top of the other.

Only then did Bao’er get up from him. She put her hands on her chest, straddled his lower abdomen, and looked at him with a smile. There was a kind of triumphant expression on her face, as if pushing him down was something triumphant and joyful.

At that moment, Chu You instinctively glanced towards the door.

"Bao’er, what on earth did you eat at school today? You’re so heavy." While speaking, Chu You patted Bao’er, who was straddling him, signaling her to move off of him. Of course, Bao’er wasn’t heavy - he could bear the weight. But he said so because he was somehow feeling uneasy.

"Hmph, I won’t let you go." After Bao’er said this in a low voice, her body began to move slightly up and down. The soft bed mattress bounced rhythmically a few times, as if Bao’er was intentionally increasing her body weight, intending to pin Chu You under her Wuzhi Mountain.

Bao’er was close to turning 11, but her development was somewhat fast, having reached a height of 1.5 meters.

It was about to get dark, but the room wasn’t completely obscure yet. No light was on, but Bao’er’s bright eyes looked so brilliant as they observed Chu You with a smile, making his heart race.

"Haha, I was wrong, Bao’er. Please forgive me," Chu You surrendered, laughing as he spoke, wanting desperately to end the awkward situation.

"No!" Bao’er declared provocatively, still mounted on him. She seemed to enjoy the interaction.

"What do you want, Bao’er? I’ll buy anything for you."

Bao’er blinked and then, gathering her courage, said, "I want a room of my own."

"Alright, alright, I’ll sort it out for you tomorrow." Bao’er reminded him. He couldn’t let her continue to stay in Lin Luo’s room. Tomorrow it is.

"Yeah, I want the room at the very end."

"The very end one?" Chu You immediately realized that Bao’er was talking about the room next to his bedroom, the last one. But that room was a bit small. Originally, he had planned to arrange Bao’er’s room on the first floor, where there were slightly larger rooms.

"Yeah, is that okay?" Bao’er sounded assertive yet tentative, worried that he might deny her request.

"Have you seen it? That room is quite small."

"I have, and I like it."

Then..." Seeing Bao’er’s pleading expression, his heart softened. "Alright, that’s fine, I promise. Can you let me go now?"

"Hee hee, you’re the best, Brother." Only then, did Bao’er moved off him and got off the bed, tidying her slightly disheveled school uniform.

Once she did so, Chu You mentally relaxed and immediately sat up. To Bao’er, he shook his head slightly and said, somewhat helplessly, "You little girl, you have no respect for your elders. You even picked on me."

"Humph!" Bao’er puckered her lips at him in protest. The atmosphere between the two became more cordial as a result.

"You’ve promised, so don’t go back on your word."

"I always keep my word. All right, I have to work now. If anything comes up, call me."

"Okay, I understand. I need to do my homework now," Bao’er timidly yet joyously said.
