Chapter 750: Chapter 313: Escaping Fish on the Yacht
"Master Lin! You’re too awesome!"
Lin Yang was chatting with Yue’er and others about the exciting day of fishing when a middle-aged man suddenly burst out, accompanied by three other burly men.
Just by looking at them, Lin Yang knew they were also fishing enthusiasts from China.
After talking for a while, he found out all four were from the Northeast and had come to Hawaii together to participate in the competition.
Before long, two other teams from China also came over to greet Lin Yang and exchanged some fishing experiences.
After all, based on today’s performance, Lin Yang was truly in a league of his own!
He was very likely to sweep multiple medals in this competition.
Such an impressive person was naturally worth networking with.
After not spending much time on the beach, considering there was another competition tomorrow, Lin Yang and his party returned to the hotel early to rest and build their strength.
.....
The next day, the competition continued.
It was still the same sea, and the contest started promptly at nine o’clock in the morning.
This time Lin Yang was still in full buff, holding nothing back.
"Whoosh~" With that sound, he cast his first line of the day.
Half an hour later.
"Successfully caught a Pacific Bluefin Tuna, Experience Value and points +...."
A not-so-big Bluefin Tuna.
The staff member glancing at Lin Yang confirmed he was the one who caught the 788-pound Big Bluefin Tuna yesterday.
"Sir, shall we just release this fish?"
This tuna was obviously smaller than the large one from yesterday; there was no need for weighing, but the staff member still asked for his opinion.
"No problem."
If it couldn’t add to his achievements, there was no need to weigh it, and Lin Yang was also happy to save a little time. Sometimes a few seconds could make the difference, potentially missing the chance for a catch and thus losing out on a big fish.
Watching such a large Bluefin Tuna being released hurt a little, as it could have easily sold for tens of thousands of yuan in the market.
Especially yesterday’s Big Bluefin Tuna, which could have possibly sold for several hundred thousand.
Unfortunately, this was abroad, not in China. Even if he caught it outside of a competition period, he couldn’t sell it for a satisfactory price here, not being a local resident. If it were just small fish or shrimp, authorities might turn a blind eye.
But if a valuable fish were caught, the local enforcers would definitely swarm like sharks smelling blood, and those permissions would cost money to obtain. After all the back and forth, there wouldn’t be much left in hand.
An hour later.
"Successfully caught a swordfish, Experience Value and points +....."
During yesterday’s competition, Lin Yang hadn’t caught any swordfish, but today’s catch was quite sizeable, which should add a good number of points.
The hoist lifted the Big Swordfish, and once it was stabilized, the weighing equipment displayed the fish’s weight.
"369 pounds!"
A little while later, the leaderboard display updated its data.

After almost two hours of competition today, added to yesterday’s experience, the leaderboard had seen changes.
The Global Team and Lin Yang still dominated the top spots, far ahead.
He alone claimed the heaviest single fish awards in three categories!
However, Lin Yang estimated that maybe only the Bluefin Tuna would withstand today; if he didn’t break through himself, it was likely the other records would be surpassed by others today.
He swung out another line, preparing to jerk the fishing rod when his keen peripheral vision suddenly noticed a small boat moving slowly in the distance, instantly drawing his attention.
Moving fishing boats were not prohibited during the competition; if an angler’s chosen spot had no fish, they had to be allowed to change spots, right?
But the fishing boat Lin Yang saw wasn’t moving fast; it didn’t look like it was changing spots, but rather as if it was assisting an angler with fishing.
Was someone about to haul in a big catch?
Then he had to work hard too!
Lin Yang returned his attention to the fishing rod in his hands and continued fishing.
Even if others caught bigger fish, those were their gain; just watching was of no use. Landing a big fish of his own, that was the real deal.
"Successfully caught a bigeye trevally, Experience Value and points +...."
"Successfully caught a trevally, Experience Value and points +...."
"Successfully caught a Pacific Bluefin Tuna, Experience Value and points +...."
....
Time quickly came to 2:30 p.m., only half an hour left in the second day of competition.
Lin Yang also brought up the fish he was currently angling.
"Successfully caught a swordfish, Experience Value and points +....."
This Big Swordfish took Lin Yang from just after twelve noon to half-past two in the afternoon to reel in, and it was indeed not small.
Once hoisted, the weight of the fish was revealed: 478 pounds!
The leaderboard underwent some changes regarding Lin Yang’s information.
