Chapter 892: Chapter 861: The Night is Quiet, Wrapped Up

This small gesture brought applause from everyone.

Qi Xiaoyan, holding the flowers, was lovelier than the blooms themselves as she bowed slightly to the crowd and continued to sing.

This time, her performance was even more emotional and heartfelt.

After Qi Xiaoyan finished singing, another round of warm applause followed.

Niu Dajun gazed at the flower-bearing Qi Xiaoyan on the stage with deep affection, finding her more attractive than ever.

He Tiantian knew Qi Xiaoyan had a pleasant singing voice, but she hadn’t realized it was this good, with a great future ahead!

There were a few more acts that followed, all spectacular, but in He Tiantian’s eyes, her good friend sang the best.

She was unapologetically biased, favoring friends over fairness!

After the evening’s festivities ended, Huo Yingjie and He Tiantian said goodbye to Niu Dajun and Qi Xiaoyan.

"Are you in a hurry to get back?" Qi Xiaoyan asked. "I was actually thinking of inviting you out for dinner?"

He Tiantian smiled and said, "We can go out to eat together anytime, but I think it’s even more beautiful for the two of you to have a date by yourselves. Enjoy your time together, we won’t intrude."

Hearing He Tiantian’s teasing, Qi Xiaoyan blushed.

"Sister Tiantian, you’re still so cunning," Qi Xiaoyan complained. "Alright then, let’s make plans some other day."

Niu Dajun was overjoyed, looking forward to a wonderful date with Xiao Yan tonight.

He Tiantian and Huo Yingjie left, and Niu Dajun and Qi Xiaoyan also drove off to find a nice restaurant for dinner before heading home.

With the moonlight lovely tonight, He Tiantian got out of the car near home and asked Zhang Ning to follow and drive her car.

She wanted to enjoy a moonlit stroll with Huo Yingjie.

On the ground, there were two shadows, one tall and one short, with He Tiantian linking arms with Huo Yingjie.

"Brother Yingjie, it’s been a long time since we’ve taken a walk like this," said He Tiantian with a smile, enjoying the quiet around them and the bright moonlight, which calmed her entire heart.

Huo Yingjie smiled and said, "Yeah, looking at our own shadows, listening to the sound of our footsteps, whispering to each other, there’s a special flavor in heart!"

"The noisy day has ended, and now it’s nighttime," He Tiantian remarked. "The hustle of the day is for oneself and for others, but the quiet of the night belongs only to oneself, to each other."

"Hehe, my Tiantian is starting to become a poet," Huo Yingjie laughed. "If you like it, I’ll take you for walks more often."

"It won’t be as romantic if it’s forced," said He Tiantian. "Let’s just be spontaneous."

The two talked back and forth like this, making their way home together.

They embraced as they fell asleep, feeling their souls cleansed by the moonlight.

The next morning, as He Tiantian got ready for work, Huo Yingjie handed her a box.

"A gift?" He Tiantian curiously asked. An early morning present seemed out of the ordinary, with no recent holiday or celebration.

While getting dressed, Huo Yingjie said, "An amplifier, give it a try later!"

He Tiantian was thrilled!

"Brother Yingjie, did you finish it so quickly?" He Tiantian excitedly asked, knowing that if it worked, she wouldn’t have to speak loudly during her classes.

Huo Yingjie smiled and said, "It was just a matter of drafting a blueprint for a factory and refining some technology. Actually, it isn’t difficult, just requires a bit of dedication."

"Let’s give it a shot," said He Tiantian with a smile, then turned on the switch, "Hello, hello······"

"All set, the volume is loud, and the sound quality hasn’t changed much, which is quite good," Huo Yingjie said, pleased with his handiwork, "You use this one for now, and I’ll try to get you a better one later."

"Mm-hmm!" He Tiantian was satisfied. "Thanks, Brother Yingjie."

"There are a few batteries on the side, take them with you," Huo Yingjie reminded, "For now, I can’t make it rechargeable, it’s a bit troublesome."

"Mm-hmm, oh, how long does one battery last?" He Tiantian asked. She really hoped the batteries wouldn’t run out in less than one class.

Huo Yingjie laughed and said, "One battery should last for about five hours or so. After it’s used up, just take the battery out. When you use it again next time, put the battery back in. This way, you can save the batteries to the maximum extent."

"That’s great." He Tiantian stepped forward and gave Huo Yingjie a kiss.

Early in the morning, she couldn’t eat meat due to a kitchen fire, so she had to settle for some soup.

With the amplifier, He Tiantian went to teach her class, full of vigor and confidence.

Because of He Tiantian’s iron-fisted approach before, no one dared to skip her class.

That was exactly the effect He Tiantian was aiming for.

In every class, He Tiantian would highlight the key points for everyone to note down.

The regular performance counted towards the total grade, and if students wanted scholarships and honors, they had to attend classes diligently.

Add to that, He Tiantian’s classes were humorous and she was talkative, which also offset the bad impression she had initially left on the students.

Suddenly, they felt that Teacher He’s classes weren’t so bad and the content she taught was memorable.

After He Tiantian started using the microphone, her voice became a bit softer, but with the help of the amplifier, even the student in the last row of the big classroom could hear her.

Today was Thursday and after He Tiantian finished her four classes in the morning and afternoon, she would have no classes on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

Oh yay, a three-day weekend, fantastic.

While sharing pastries with everyone in the office, Teacher Xiao Chen came in with several parcels in hand and said, "Teacher He, there are two parcels here for you, sent from Nan City."

After becoming a teacher at the school, He Tiantian had written to her students in Nan City and given them her address.

"Ah?" He Tiantian was delighted. "Let me see."

He Tiantian saw that one parcel was from Yuan Hua and the other from Tang Ping’an.

"Who sent these?" Teacher Xiao Chen asked. "Teacher He, seeing how happy you are, they must be from someone very close to you!"

He Tiantian smiled and said, "They’re from my former students, let’s see what’s inside!"

Tearing open the parcels, she found two poetry collections from Yuan Hua, each signed with a message, "To the loveliest ’Her’ — Teacher He! From your student, Yuan Hua!"

"This is a class president from my class, a girl who is good at writing poetry," He Tiantian said. "These are two poetry collections she has published!"

He Tiantian flipped them open, especially the newly published book with the first poem titled "Her".

Beneath it, a note read, "For my dearest Teacher He, you are the muse behind this poem ’Her’."

Reading each word, He Tiantian’s eyes couldn’t help but well up with tears.

She had not realized she had made such a big impact on them, nor had she expected such recognition from her students.

Seeing He Tiantian’s reaction, Teacher Xiao Chen took the poetry collections and read them closely, finishing the first poem "Her" and remarked, "Teacher He, to be so cherished by your students, you are a good teacher."

He Tiantian smiled, a bit emotional and at a loss for words.

Then she tore open the other parcel, which contained three books; Tang Ping’an’s "Wind and Cloud" had been published in three volumes: upper, middle, and lower.
