"Mm-hmm, Wenwen was so busy just now, so I was helping out here, and I didn’t realize how quickly time passed; it’s already six o’clock," He Tiantian explained. "Let’s go; the kids are probably getting fussy."

"Cousin, don’t be angry; it was really busy on my end," Jiang Wenwen quickly stood up and said in a pleasing tone, feeling guilty for tiring out her cousin’s wife and leaving her hungry.

"Is this the place?" He Tiantian asked, sniffing with her little nose, taking in the fragrance in the air.

Huo Yingjie nodded and said, "Yes, you’ll love the food here."

"Have you been here before?" He Tiantian asked. "With whom? A man or a woman?"

Holding her hand affectionately, Huo Yingjie said, "I’ve been here, with a leader, a man. Is that okay now?"

Inside her little head, she was probably figuring out how to make up for the request she owed him today!

Huo Yingjie ordered four dishes, one soup, two meat-based and two vegetarian, and had the waiter serve them.

In the meantime, they were served warming barley tea.

This barley tea was personally roasted by the chef and had a particularly rich flavor.

"Did everything go smoothly with your registration today?" Huo Yingjie, after taking a sip of tea, asked softly, eager to learn about his wife’s school life.

"It went well," He Tiantian replied. "I’ve already gotten my textbooks and schedule, and after military training ends on the 13th of September, I’ll start classes. There’s still half a month to go, which is perfect for learning to drive, so I can drive myself to school later."

"Great!" Huo Yingjie smiled. "I’ll teach you as quickly as possible. What’s the school like? Is it scenic?"

"Then I’ll rely on Brother Yingjie," He Tiantian smiled and took a sip of the barley tea. "The school’s scenery is quite nice. I walked around for a bit, but..."
