Chris and his two comrades turned their heads, their faces darkening like the bottom of a pot when they saw who had arrived.

"One can always try," Zhang Xian grinned, turning to Mickey and Amond, "You two, be ready to run at any moment and take my wife with you. Remember, don’t let her suffer any grievances during the escape. Otherwise, I’ll chase you to the ends of the earth and make sure you regret ever stepping foot in this world."

"Hehe, I promise there won’t be a problem," Mickey chuckled.

Amond raised his right hand and reassuringly gestured an ’OK’ to Zhang Xian.

"Zhang Xian, what...what are you planning to do?" Yao Rao asked in surprise.

Even though Chris was powerful, and there were two other grandmasters, they were four, and might not necessarily be at a disadvantage if they really fought. Why was Zhang Xian suggesting they escape first? Could he be planning to fight all three alone and court death? Pitted against Chris alone, it would already be more than Zhang Xian could handle!

"Not much, just want to mess with these three," Zhang Xian turned to look at Yao Rao and said, "You go with Mickey and Amond, I can handle things here."

"If we’re going to fight, we’ll fight together. I’m not leaving," Yao Rao said.

Zhang Xian let out a wry smile, "If you’re going to stay, we might as well die together, battle be damned!"

It was then that Mickey stepped forward and said, "Yao Rao, don’t worry, Zhang Xian can handle it. Even if he can’t win, he can escape. Didn’t he rescue us once before?"

Yao Rao finally let out a sigh of relief after hanging up the phone.

Mickey chuckled and said, "How about it? I told you he could handle it, right?"

"Yes..."

Yao Rao nodded and said, "Follow me, I’ll take you somewhere. Zhang Xian will meet us there."

Mickey and Amond didn’t doubt her and followed her.
