Chapter 515: Chapter 515 This guy is defying the heavens_1
Jing Yi and Luo Shuining were also somewhat surprised when they saw Zhang Xian.
At the same time, their tense hearts relaxed a bit. This guy was also a master of the Innate Realm. With Zhang Xian’s help, these bastards in front of them wouldn’t dare to show off.
Moreover, they could see that Zhang Xian seemed to know these six guys and he had an unpleasant history with them.
"Surprised to see me?"
Zhang Xian rubbed his nose, then laughed, "We all mix in the same circles, you should know, if I don’t die, it’s you who will. So are you ready to be killed by me now?"
"Although I don’t know how you escaped, can you kill us?" The man with the curly hair sneered.
Seeing Zhang Xian again, he was indeed surprised. The giant python they encountered before was powerful, Zhang Xian shouldn’t have been able to escape, even though this guy had the power of the Innate Realm.
However, he didn’t think that this young fellow had the power to wipe all of them out. It just wasn’t possible.
"Boy, you’re too arrogant," The Innate Ninja said with a laugh.
There were two Innates standing here, yet this little punk in front of them was threatening to wipe them out. This had to be a joke, surely it wasn’t serious.
"I’ll start with you." Zhang Xian dashed over, appearing suddenly in front of the curly-haired man, "I could have killed that giant python before, but you, you dared to hold me back."
The curly-haired man got quite a scare, rushing backwards immediately.
"Where are you going?" Zhang Xian, like a leech, stuck close, his palm striking down at lightning speed.
The curly-haired man was terrified by Zhang Xian’s speed. His hands crossed hurriedly in front of his chest, trying to block Zhang Xian’s impending strike.
"Hmph..." Zhang Xian gave a cold snort, slamming his palm onto the man’s hands.
This hit was made with his full strength that was comparable to a strike by a Grandmaster.
"Bang..." The curly-haired man bore Zhang Xian’s blow, flying backwards like a paper kite with its string cut off, blood spraying from him in mid-air. His eyes reflected deep fear.
Just now, he clearly felt the frightening power in Zhang Xian’s hands, his defences did absolutely no good, he was totally suppressed.
Only now did he realise that this little fellow in front of him had hidden his strength. That attack just now was beyond what an Innate Master could make.
"Die..."
Zhang Xian closed in, throwing a punch towards the curly-haired man’s head.
"No..."
The curly-haired man’s pupils contracted, he wanted to plea for mercy.
Unfortunately, he had no chance. The incoming fist made no attempt to stop, until his head exploded.
"This..."
The Innate Ninja and others were dumbfounded, standing rooted to the ground as if they were statues, they couldn’t regain their senses for quite awhile.
The curly-haired man was an Innate Master, and he was taken out just like that by this little punk? Although he used a sneak attack, without the real strength, one couldn’t possibly kill the curly-haired man.
"How is this possible?" Jing Yi, Luo Shuining, and the old Taoist woman all stared wide-eyed.
Zhang Xian was only in his twenties, how could he take down an Innate Master so easily? Could it be that Zhang Xian had reached the peak of the Innate Realm?
With the strength of the Peak Innate Realm, it is possible to take down an ordinary Innate Master under a sneak attack. Compared to other Innates, the guy from before was not that strong.
In this world, the ancient martial arts of Huaxia may have the slowest progress, but they were undoubtedly the strongest. That guy from before had just an average Innate Realm strength.
"An Innate died already. Do you think you can stop me?" Zhang Xian turned his head and sneered.
The Innate Ninja’s mouth twitched involuntarily a few times, then he turned around and tried to run away.
"Where are you going?"
The old Taoist woman swung her duster to block the Innate Ninja.
"I can’t..."
The Innate Ninja changed direction, flashed to the right, and suddenly disappeared from the spot.
The old Taoist woman was about to chase. Seeing the Innate Ninja suddenly disappear, she frowned and muttered to herself: "How did that fellow disappear? Could he be a ninja from Japan?"
Zhang Xian gave a cold smile and walked towards where the Innate Ninja had disappeared.
Some guy had shown off his Ninjutsu in front of him earlier. Now, this fool wanted to show off too. He had to admit, the ninjas from Japan all have the same characteristics.
"Young man, don’t go there," said the old Taoist woman: "That guy is a ninja who can turn invisible. But he can only move once, he can’t go far, nor can he stay invisible forever. We just need to wait around. When he can’t resist, he will naturally appear, and we can deal with him then."
Zhang Xian ignored the old Taoist woman, he walked to a tree, swung his fist forcefully, blasting the tree trunk into pieces.
"Ah...Puh..."
The shape of the Innate Ninja suddenly appeared in mid-air, and he was flying backward. Blood was gushing out from his mouth, almost vomiting up his internal organs.
"Huh..." The old Taoist woman looked confused.
How on earth did he detect the Ninja hiding near that tree?
"Damn it..."
The others, seeing this, turned and ran.
When the two Innates were killed, the remaining individuals who were not in the Innate realm were left with no alternative but death.
"Pfft... Pfft..."
Suddenly, intense spiritual energy fluctuations appeared in mid-air. At that moment, the heads of the four fleeing masters flew off simultaneously, blood spouting out.
"Thud... Thud..."
Then, under the astonished gazes of the Old Taoist nun, Jing Yi and Luo Shuining, the bodies of the four headless individuals fell to the ground after taking a few steps.
"How can this be? This... this is impossible." The old Taoist Nun shook her head repeatedly.
She found Zhang Xian’s strength hard to believe. She thought it was impossible for a young man in his twenties to be at the peak of the Innate Realm. And she was even more unwilling to believe what just happened, despite seeing it with her own eyes. She wondered, how did a youngster manage to kill people from a distance, something not even a Grandmaster Realm expert could do?
"Kid, you’re finished. You’ve offended a divine spokesperson, you must die." The Innate Ninja roared suddenly.
Zhang Xian turned his head and asked in surprise, "Are you guys emissaries of a God?"
The Innate Ninja, clutching his chest, replied, "Yes. There’s no good end for anyone who opposes our organization and you won’t be an exception. Just wait for our revenge."
"What an idiot."
Zhang Xian flicked Spiritual Origin at the Innate Ninja, decapitating him, and scornfully said, "I’ve killed you here. Who the hell knows I did it?"
"Young man, thank you for your help." The old Taoist Nun approached and bowed, "You’re so young but yet possess such terrifying power. I truly admire you!"
Luo Shuining also stepped forward, asking, "Zhang Xian, you...you have peak Innate strength?"
Jing Yi stared at Zhang Xian with her wide watery eyes.
Zhang Xian smiled noncommittally and said, "Well, I had a grudge against those guys anyway, so I didn’t exactly go out of my way to help."
"Why won’t you answer?" Luo Shuining pouted.
"Shuining, you must not be disrespectful to the young gentleman." The old Taoist Nun glared at Luo Shuining and then turned to Zhang Xian with a smile, "Young man, my disciple lacks manners. Please, don’t take it to heart."
Zhang Xian gave a bitter smile and said, "Grandmaster, I’ve met them before. We are friends. I won’t mind this minor issue. Please, don’t blame her."
The old Taoist Nun was taken aback and asked, "You know each other?"
"We met previously." Jing Yi smiled and shared the events of their prior meeting in the small village.
The old Taoist Nun broke into a cold sweat as she listened.
In the small village, her two foolish disciples had dared to disrespect a peak Innate being, it scared her quite a lot. Luckily, Zhang Xian wasn’t a petty person and didn’t hold a grudge. Otherwise, she and her disciples could be dead by now over such a small matter.
Zhang Xian wiped his nose and asked, "By the way, didn’t you say that the Dragon Mountain Range is dangerous? Why have you come back in?"
Jing Yi responded, "We didn’t intend to go too deep, we’re still quite close to the outskirts! Besides, we came in to find something. Once we find it, we’ll leave."
"This is the outskirts?"
Zhang Xian’s mouth twitched unnaturally, before asking, "What are you looking for? Herbs?"
"Well..." Jing Yi didn’t reply.
The old Taoist Nun hesitated, too. The Thousand Leaf Grass was very precious. If Zhang Xian found out about it, he might get greedy and attempt to snatch it.
Zhang Xian laughed lightly and said, "If it’s inconvenient to tell, that’s okay. I understand that you have your difficulties."
Luo Shuining gritted her teeth and said, "We’re here to find Thousand Leaf Grass."
Jing Yi and the old Taoist Nun’s faces turned pale. They silently scolded Luo Shuining for her naivety. How could she reveal such information? Weren’t they afraid of attracting others’ attention?
"Thousand Leaf Grass?"
Zhang Xian paused for a moment before asking, "What do you need Thousand Leaf Grass for? To refine pills?"
"I... I’m ill. Every once in a while, my blood flows faster and my blood vessels burn with unbearable pain. Only Thousand Leaf Grass can treat it." Luo Shuining explained.
On hearing this, Zhang Xian suddenly thought of something. He smiled and asked, "If I’m not mistaken, you must have been poisoned, right?"
"You... how did you know?" Luo Shuining asked in surprise.
Zhang Xian replied, "Hmm, I happen to know this kind of poison. However, even if you find the Thousand Leaf Grass, it might not cure you. You will also need a Heartless Fruit, and the antidote must be made into a Detoxification Pill."
Luo Shuining said, "I originally didn’t want to cure it. The cost was too high and we don’t know Alchemy. But, my master insisted that I come here."
Zhang Xian waved his hand dismissively and laughed, "No worries, I can help you find it. The reason I came here is also to find herbs, we have the same goal. Also, I can help with Alchemy, and I won’t charge anything. As long as you provide the herbs, it’s fine."
"You... you can do Alchemy?" Luo Shuining asked in surprise.
The faces of Jing Yi and the old Taoist Nun changed once again, wondering if they had heard correctly. The young man in front of them, apart from being a peak Innate strength master in his twenties, also knows the magical art of Alchemy?
