Chapter 163: Chapter 163 What does this guy want to do? _1

Zhu Family’s affair, Director Ding was quite aware of.

Seeing there were ties between Zhang Xian and the Zhu family gave him a headache. After all, Zhu Da was still being held in the station.

Fortunately, Zhang Xian did not ask him to do anything. Otherwise, his position as a director would put him in a tough spot. Without a doubt, this fellow had a strong relationship with Old Man Han, and he couldn’t even hold a candle to Han.

Shortly after, the SUV stopped inside the police station.

After Zhang Xian got out of the car, he said, "Director Ding, you go ahead if you have things to do, I can go in by myself."

Director Ding was indeed busy, otherwise he would accompany Zhang Xian undoubtedly. However, he called over a captain, "Captain Tan, take Brother Zhang to the detention room to see Zhu Da."

Captain Tan was somewhat surprised to take a look at Zhang Xian and hurriedly led the way. Someone who could be called a brother by Director Ding was certainly no ordinary person.

"Thank you, Captain Tan," Zhang Xian said with a smile.

"It’s a small matter, why are you so polite with me?" Captain Tan waved his hand.

When they arrived in front of the interrogation room, he felt a sudden urge to urinate, and the restroom was just next to them. He awkwardly said, "I uh, bro, you go in first, I’m going to take a piss."

"Okay, go deal with your own stuff." Zhang Xian nodded, and walked into the interrogation room.

Seeing a policeman was dozing off at the door, he paused before walking over and smiling, "Officer, I came to see Zhu Da."

The policeman was deep in sleep and seemed somewhat displeased at the interruption, "What?"

Zhang Xian repeated, "I came to see Zhu Da."

The policeman saw that Zhang Xian stood still and showed no signs of complying, and couldn’t help but sneer, "Who are you to him? Don’t you know you can’t see prisoners at will?"

Zhang Xian rubbed his nose and said, "I’m his son-in-law and I wanted to see him."

The policeman hesitated for a moment, saw Zhang Xian showing no intention of complying, and waved his hand angrily, "Go back, you can’t see prisoners freely."

Zhang Xian was puzzled, "What’s happening? Zhu Da is not a felon, why can’t I see him?"

"Because I said you can’t see him, this is my fucking place. I’m the one in charge," the officer was annoyed by Zhang Xian’s defiance. As a small prison guard, he was hoping for his bit of advantage.

Those outside big shots from time to time could receive some benefits and make little extra money, but he’s the most miserable of them all. All day squatting here, earning just a flat wage, he was NOT satisfied with it.

Zhang Xian was pissed off, "Where’s that rule? Why can’t I see him because you say so?"

"Just because I get to control this area, I fucking won’t let you see him today, what can you do about it?" The prison guard glanced at Zhang Xian, "One should know their place, especially when asking for a favor, you should show some awareness. Look at your demeanor, I guess there’s not much benefit I can get from you, just go, don’t disturb my sleep."

Zhang Xian got the message, it turned out this guy wanted a bribe. But he wouldn’t give it, he didn’t want to satisfy this kind of scum.

With a cold smile, he no longer engaged with the prison guard, and walked into the room.

The prison guard was dumbfounded, and quickly got up, pulled out an electric baton and shouted, "Kid, what the fuck do you think you’re doing? Do you know where you are? Do you think you can act rampant here?"

"What’s going on?" Captain Tan pulled up his pants and frantically ran over.

Seeing Captain Tan, the prison guard instantly put away his electric baton and tried to put on a pleasing smile, "Captain Tan, why are you here?"

Captain Tan saw Zhang Xian’s face was livid, and the prison guard had been overly arrogant. His face immediately darkened. This guy here was Director Ding’s brother! Negligence was a crime in itself.

His corner of the mouth twitched unnaturally, and quickly apologized to Zhang Xian, "Brother Zhang, how come you haven’t entered yet? You don’t need to stand behind the glass, just go directly inside."

Zhang Xian sneered, "Captain Tan, your prison guards are really something. I just wanted to see someone, but he wouldn’t let me since I didn’t offer him any benefits."

"What?" Captain Tan was furious, glaring at the prison guard, "What do you mean by this? Are you using your power for personal gain? Is this how you serve the people?"

The prison guard was frightened, "No... Captain Tan, I... I... I didn’t..."

"So you’re implying that Brother Zhang is deliberately making things difficult for you?" Captain Tan laughed coldly, "I will report your behavior truthfully, let’s see how the director will deal with you."

The prison guard’s legs gave way, and he sat down on the chair. The seemingly insignificant young man in front of him actually had a big background, why couldn’t he be less low-profile?

Zhang Xian no longer paid attention to the prison guard, and walked into the detention room.

Sometime later, Captain Tan brought Zhu Da out. Unlike the others, he didn’t communicate with them through a glass wall with an intercom, he let Zhang Xian and Zhu Da converse face-to-face.

Zhu Da didn’t know about Zhu Qing’s situation and has never met Zhang Xian, he was somewhat curious, "Who are you? Why do you want to see me?"

Zhang Xian smiled, "My name is Zhang Xian. I am Zhu Qing’s boyfriend. I came to see you today, hoping to understand something about Zhu Shi Pharmaceutical."

...

Noon, at the entrance of Tsinghua University.

Zhang Xian got out of the taxi and walked towards the gate.

Earlier at the police station, he had a chat with Zhu Da for a while but didn’t get any clues. Zhu Da’s idea was similar to Liu Xiaowen’s, he thought Dragonfly Pharmaceuticals and Hachi Pharmaceuticals had the highest suspicion.

Even Zhu Da thought so, which lowered the possibility of others being involved. The suspicion on Tao Jinbao and Song Yuzhe increased again.

However, those two had shown no loopholes so far.

"Damn it, can’t you watch where you’re going?" A sudden roar sounded.

Zhang Xian lifted his head only to find that he was so immersed in thought that he bumped into someone. He immediately apologized with a smile: "Brother, sorry, I wasn’t paying attention."

The man gave Zhang Xian a shove. "Seems like you’re fucking blind. Do you think a simple apology will resolve it after you bumped into me?"

A glint of ferocity flashed in Zhang Xian’s eyes, "Then what do you want?"

The man chuckled: "Hand over ten thousand yuan, and we can forget about this incident. Or else, I can send you to the hospital for months."

Zhang Xian smirked coldly and abruptly threw a punch at the middle-aged man’s head. This guy was asking for trouble, and he deserved a beating.

"Damn...," the middle-aged man promptly retreated.

The other three middle-aged thugs didn’t expect Zhang Xian to strike suddenly. They were taken aback and swiftly moved back.

"Hmm?" Zhang Xian was slightly surprised seeing that the middle-aged man was swift enough to dodge his punch. He had assumed this man to be a common hooligan, but clearly, he was more competent than he’d expected.

One must know, Zhang Xian’s punch was fast even if he didn’t use his full strength. Unless his opponent was a skilled fighter, no one could possibly dodge it. These thugs seemed to be more than meets the eye.

"Damn, you dare to strike?" The middle-aged man quickly rotated his body and aimed his elbow at Zhang Xian’s head.

With a disdained smile, Zhang Xian’s speed suddenly heightened. He quickly drew back his punch and swiftly threw it again, aiming directly at the middle-aged man’s head.

As for speed, the middle-aged man was already quite fast compared to an ordinary person. However, against Zhang Xian, he was as slow as a snail. While the middle-aged man takes the time to strike once, Zhang Xian could have already launched three attacks casually.

Upon receiving a punch, the middle-aged man felt dizzy and everything around him blurred. He stumbled and ended up sitting on the ground.

"Damn..."

The other three middle-aged thugs stopped in their tracks, too wary to advance.

It should be noted that this middle-aged man was a highly skilled guard from the Brother’s Security Company. Though he wasn’t an ace fighter, he was certainly stronger than the rest of them.

If even he couldn’t withstand a single move from Zhang Xian, wouldn’t it be the same as self-destruction for them to challenge Zhang Xian?

"You sure have the guts to extort with your capabilities?" Zhang Xian disdainfully glanced at the man on the ground and walked into the school gate.

Not far away, Wang Lei clenched his teeth in contempt.

He had arranged these men to teach Zhang Xian a lesson, but he hadn’t expected them to be defeated so easily. It seemed his previous estimate was wrong. Zhang Xian wasn’t just strong, but a master fighter.

Damn it! Zhao Fuyuan didn’t lose unjustly. Even the skilled guards from Brother’s Security Company couldn’t defeat Zhang Xian. Charging at Zhang Xian would be a sure trip to death for Zhao Fuyuan.

"It seems I need to change my strategy. A hard approach doesn’t seem to work," Wang Lei muttered before getting into his white Porsche nearby. With a powerful rev of his engine, he darted off into the distance.

...

Zhao Fuyuan didn’t successfully become a disciple yesterday and was pride wounded. However, as a martial arts enthusiast, a small setback wouldn’t make him give up his passion for martial arts.

After lingering outside the classroom for a while, upon seeing Zhang Xian returning, he hurriedly went to greet him: "Brother Xian, I’ve been waiting for you."

Zhang Xian frowned slightly, "What are you waiting for me for? If you want to be my apprentice, I suggest you don’t waste your time. You can’t learn my techniques, and I won’t teach them."

Zhao Fuyuan embarrassingly laughed, "Brother Xian, I... I am sincere."

"And I am sincere as well." Zhang Xian sneered and walked toward the classroom, "I don’t accept disciples."

Zhao Fuyuan sighed and set off. However, he hadn’t given up yet. He just felt that he had chosen a wrong method, and he needed to find a way to impress Zhang Xian.

Zhang Xian did not pay Zhao Fuyuan any more attention and was about to enter the classroom.

At that moment, a classmate suddenly approached him and asked, "Zhang Xian?"

Zhang Xian paused, "What is it?"

The classmate said, "Young Master Wang wants to see you. He’s over there."

"Young Master Wang? Wang Lei?" Zhang Xian paused, but he didn’t refuse to go.

He had figured it out; that guy seemed to harbor animosity toward him, probably because of Zhu Yan. Zhang Xian was not the type to back down—he would face it if Wang Lei wanted to play games.

"Haha, Young Master Zhang, you’re here." Seeing Zhang Xian approaching, Wang Lei hurriedly went to greet him, his smile blooming like spring flowers.

Zhang Xian raised an eyebrow and asked with a smile, "What do you need? You’re not going to shake hands with me again, are you?"

Wang Lei’s mouth twitched unnaturally. "How could I? It’s common knowledge how strong you are. I’m not that stupid. I want to make friends with you."

"Really?" Zhang Xian asked, glancing skeptically at Wang Lei.

Of course, he was not so naive as to believe that Wang Lei genuinely wanted to be friends. He must be up to something.

"Can’t you see I’m sincere?" Wang Lei smiled. "Tonight, I’m hosting a gathering with some friends. I’d like to invite you and Yan Yan to join us."

Zhang Xian laughed, "Sure, parties are always fun."
