Boss Qian realized as well, 300,000 isn’t a small amount, usually supervised by a manager or higher, not a mere security guard. Boss Qian let out a dry laugh, feeling uneasy with John Brown’s smile.

John Brown smiled at Lily Joe, "Miss, do you think you’re valuable?"

John Brown eyed Lily Joe up and down, smiling, "And how much are you worth? What’s the rate for a night?"

"You..." Lily Joe realized he was calling her a prostitute, her face turning green.

This is why she had always targeted Jessica Wilson. The arrogance from James Brown truly overwhelmed John Robinson and Lily Joe. They could bully others when they were easy targets, but dealing with someone like James Brown, who wasn’t easy to bully, was a headache for them.

Sarah bit her lip and softly said, "Even if he was like that, I’d still like him, but he won’t be with me."
