Chapter 417: Chapter 424: The Indomitable Emily Lopez

"Mr. Frank, if you stop now, I won’t hold it against you. But if you persist, the consequences will be beyond what you can bear." Gina Lopez said as she stood up. Sandra immediately held her sister, sensing that Gina was already quite unwell.

Just then, the door was suddenly pushed open, and Christopher Taylor strode in, laughing heartily as he said, "Who are you trying to scare? Lucy Campbell may be powerful, but you’re just one of her employees. What can she do to us? Furthermore, today, I’m going to take you. We’ll be one-day husband and wife, a hundred days of grace, right? Surely you’d take my side, wouldn’t you? Haha."

"Christopher Taylor, so it’s you." Gina Lopez stared angrily at the man.

"That’s right, it’s me. That bastard James Brown angered me, so today, I’m going to take pleasure in his woman. Haha..."

If Gina had encountered anyone else, she might have tried to scare them off, but this was Christopher Taylor, who had significant grudges against James Brown. Moreover, he’d already learned about the deep relationship between James and Lucy from their last encounter. Now, he dared to stir up trouble again, making it pointless to bring Lucy Campbell into the equation.

Besides, Christopher’s family had a strong background. Though not as powerful as Lucy Campbell’s, it was enough to make it impossible for Lucy to casually uproot his family. It was likely this support that emboldened Christopher to target Gina.

"Christopher Taylor, you best not act recklessly, or I won’t let you off the hook." Gina’s body weakened further, the craving inside her growing stronger. Originally, looking at these men made her extremely disgusted, but now, she couldn’t shake the sudden impulse of wanting them to surround her.

This thought terrified Gina, causing her to bite her tongue hard, immediately regaining some clarity.

Sandra suddenly stretched out her hand, grabbed a wine bottle, and smashed it violently on the coffee table. Everyone was startled. When they looked at Sandra again, she was holding only the bottom half of the shattered bottle. Its jagged edges gleamed coldly, resembling a multi-bladed dagger.

This was something James Brown had taught her earlier. When faced with intimidation, she needed to outdo her aggressors in ferocity. Unless they were desperate criminals, they wouldn’t risk their lives against her.

Sandra raised the jagged bottle in her hand, her eyes gleaming with fierce determination, like an enraged tigress. She ground her teeth and shouted, "You scumbags, get the hell away from us! If any of you dares to come closer, I’ll fight you to the death."

The men instinctively retreated. Looking at Sandra’s feral expression, they hesitated. They were not desperate criminals; their lives mattered to them.

"Sis! Let’s go!" Sandra grabbed Gina and headed toward the door.

The group of men exchanged uneasy glances, feeling humiliated to be frightened by a young woman. Yet, none dared to risk their lives by lunging for Sandra’s bottle. As Sandra moved forward, they continued backing away and were eventually forced to the doorway.

"Move aside!" Sandra shouted again, even more triumphant now. Brother-in-law’s advice worked wonders—she had successfully intimidated this group of men.

Christopher Taylor’s face darkened. He had invested a lot of effort into orchestrating this situation. His friends had tried numerous times to invite Gina out under various pretexts, only to be rejected each time. Now, he’d finally managed to bring Gina and Sandra out together, even drugging them to ensure success. If he let them leave now, he likely wouldn’t get another chance.

However, not even Christopher, nor anyone else in the room, could find a solution in this moment. Facing a woman willing to fight tooth and nail, they dared not recklessly approach her, even as men.

Yet Gina was becoming increasingly unwell. She felt her consciousness fading away. Despite biting her tongue repeatedly, blood now trickled from the corner of her mouth, and clarity continued eluding her. The overwhelming sensations washed over her mind, filling her thoughts with vivid scenes of intimacy with James Brown.

"Husband!" Gina softly moaned and suddenly clung tightly to Sandra.

Gina held Sandra so tightly that both of Sandra’s arms were pinned. Sandra gasped, and her grip on the bottle slipped, causing it to drop to the floor.

The group froze. They had been ready to watch Sandra lead Gina away, but now, Sandra’s weapon had been unintentionally disarmed by her sister.

"Sis!" Sandra cried out in shock. Without her bottle, she could no longer intimidate the men. And now, with Gina holding her so tightly, escape was impossible. The door, so nearby, seemed impossibly distant.

Christopher Taylor and the others snapped back to attention and quickly blocked the doorway, leaving Sandra and Gina with no path to flee.

Laughing triumphantly, Christopher said, "Go ahead and try running."

Sandra dragged her sister back against the wall and growled viciously, "Don’t get cocky. My brother-in-law will be here any moment, and you’ll regret everything."

Christopher’s eyes glinted with violent fury. He clenched his teeth and hissed, "Good! I hope he does show up. I’ll defile his woman and his sister-in-law right before his eyes. Haha, imagine the joy he’ll feel then."

Sandra roared, "Dream on! If you dare lay a finger on us, my brother-in-law will kill you!"

Christopher scoffed, "Who do you think he is? He’s nothing but a lowly manager to me, trash that’s not even worth mentioning. Don’t bring up Lucy Campbell—she might be able to sway a few hearts and lend you minor favors, but if she really wanted to take on my family in W Region, she’d have to think twice. Hmph."

"My brother-in-law doesn’t need anyone’s help. He’s the most extraordinary man in the world. Trash like you aren’t even worthy of tying his shoes. If you know what’s good for you, back off now. Otherwise, your doom is near." Sandra lifted her chin defiantly, meeting Christopher’s gaze with fearless pride.

This only infuriated Christopher further. As a direct descendant of the Brownie Family, his family ruled City Center with considerable influence. James Brown, in comparison, was merely a small-time manager. Yet Sandra’s adulation made him sound invincible while relegating Christopher to being worthless trash.

"Fine! Let’s see how invincible he is. Today, I’ll violate his woman. Haha..." Christopher laughed maliciously and stepped forward to grab Gina’s arm.

"Get away!" Sandra twisted her body, guiding Gina to evade Christopher’s grasp.

"Oh, I’ll get away all right—rolling in bed with you two! Twins, rolling around together—just imagining it is exhilarating!" Christopher advanced again, this time reaching not for Gina’s arm but aiming directly for Sandra’s chest.

With Gina holding both of Sandra’s arms, Sandra had no way to defend herself. Cornered against the wall, evading was no longer an option. She watched helplessly as Christopher’s hand neared her chest, her face turning livid with rage.

Christopher’s thrill grew as he reveled in Sandra’s expression, speeding up his reach, already savoring the thought of the softness awaiting his grasp.

"Ah!" But just as his hand was about to touch Sandra’s chest, Christopher screamed in agony, clutching his groin and bending over.

Though her arms were restrained, Sandra’s feet were free. With a swift, decisive kick, she targeted Christopher’s crotch. It worked perfectly, stopping him in his tracks. But she didn’t stop there. Seeing Christopher doubled over, Sandra instantly followed up with her knee, slamming it into his face.

Christopher screamed again, his body falling backward until it hit the floor with a heavy thud.

Sandra’s moves were seamless, as fluid and effective as those of a seasoned fighter, knocking Christopher out cold in two strikes.

Larry Frank hurriedly ran over to help Christopher up, anxiously asking, "Master Johnson, are you okay?"

Christopher’s nose and mouth were bleeding, leaving him looking utterly pitiful. Pain still radiated from his groin. If not for his attempt to sidestep Sandra’s kick, he might have suffered much worse.

"You damn slut!" Christopher spat out a bloody glob and shrieked angrily. Pointing at Sandra, he snarled, "Grab her, strip her clothes off! I’m going to destroy her tonight!"

James Clark and the other two men immediately moved towards Sandra. Stripped of their pretenses, they revealed their true, beastly nature. Being subordinates of the Brownie Family, they wouldn’t dare defy Christopher’s orders. Even if they couldn’t personally defile the twins, just touching them or watching them was gratifying enough.

Sandra flailed her legs wildly, resisting with all her might. But without the element of surprise, she stood no chance against three grown men. As a young woman, she was simply outmatched.

Though her kicks proved ineffective, Sandra still had one weapon: her teeth. Baring her sharp, white teeth, she resolved to bite anyone who reached for her without hesitation.

Her ferocity forced the three men to falter; none wanted to risk having chunks of flesh removed if Sandra managed to land a bite.

"You idiots!" Christopher finally regained enough composure to leap forward. Standing before Sandra, he swung his arm and slapped her hard across the face.

Sandra cried out in pain but continued to glare unyieldingly at Christopher. Her eyes seethed with hatred as she growled, "Christopher Taylor, if you dare lay a hand on me, my brother-in-law will kill you. He absolutely will!"

"Then I’ll ravage you first!" Christopher slapped her again, catching the other side of her face. Sandra’s head slammed into the wall, leaving a smear of bright red blood in its wake.
