Xing Mengzheng looked at Mo Shu and remarked, "She has indeed lost weight. Being pregnant and spending these past days on a boat must have caused her stomach some unease."

Mr. Mo had already noticed Mo Shu’s noticeably thinner face the moment he saw her, intent on asking her about it, but this clever couple’s remarks left him without a chance to chide.

Mr. Mo could only try to smooth things over, "Shushu is in good health. She has been learning to dance since she was a child and even practiced boxing when she was younger. She’s stronger than most girls."

The little horse hopped around, its single horn wrapped in a thin membrane of pale purple, yet upon closer inspection, it wasn’t purely purple—shades of green and blue subtly gleamed through.

The maids around them were practically melting at the sight of the Kongling Horse.

Mo Shu smiled gently, turning to Yu Siqiao, "Aren’t you going to let it out?"

Yu Siqiao raised an eyebrow, and the guard immediately opened the gate.

The Kongling Horse leaped out energetically, letting out an excited, childish screech that was both shrill and adorable.

Once out, it circled around Mo Shu, seeming incredibly happy. It then glanced at Mo Shu’s belly, lifted its eyes to her face, and blinked.

Mo Shu expressed her surprise, "It’s looking at my belly, does it know I’m pregnant?"

Yu Siqiao found it somewhat magical too, and walked over to gently pat the little horse’s head, "Could it have X-ray vision?"

The Kongling Horse neighed again, nuzzling Yu Siqiao’s hand, then taking his hand in its mouth, it guided him to place it on Mo Shu’s belly.
