Chapter 551: Chapter 551: Younger Brothers and Sisters (1)

Qin Jiran and Su Yanyi returned to the bedroom, where Su Yanyi lay down on the bed to rest, and Qin Jiran climbed over to her side. Then, with immense anticipation, he looked at Su Yanyi and said, "Wife, let me listen."

Su Yanyi was puzzled. Listen? Listen to what?

"What do you want to listen to?"

Qin Jiran didn’t say a word but scooted closer, then gently placed his head upon Su Yanyi’s belly, leaving no doubt about what he wanted to hear.

Witnessing this scene, Su Yanyi slapped him on the head and said, "Listen to what, exactly? The baby is so small; how could there be any movement?" This man was becoming sillier by the day.

Qin Jiran rubbed his head, which didn’t hurt at all, and with a somewhat simple smile, he said, "I’m just trying to bond with the baby ahead of time, right, baby?"

The last sentence was spoken to the belly, with a tender look in his eyes that certainly held the feeling of being a father. Su Yanyi raised her hand as if she intended to slap him again, but then slowly drew it back, leaving only a seemingly dissatisfied snort.

Yanyi didn’t speak, but Jiran was very much in the mood for a chat, continuing excitedly, "Baby, can you hear daddy talking? Make sure to grow up fast, okay? Mommy and daddy are both waiting for you."

"Are you stupid or what?" Su Yanyi couldn’t help herself. Were all future fathers like this, or was this man just exceptionally foolish? A belly that was only one and a half months along, what could it possibly hear!

"Not stupid at all. How could talking to the baby be silly? The baby can definitely hear," the silly father claimed, not feeling silly in the slightest. He had seen other fathers talk to their pregnant bellies; he might be early, but wasn’t early communication beneficial for fostering father-child bonds?

During the recording period of "I’m the Best," it was Qin Jiran’s turn to be the instructor for the acting class. Qin Jiran was a punctual man, arriving at the classroom three minutes before the lesson was due to start. However, out of the sixty-two students expected to attend, five had yet to arrive. Why did Qin Jiran know this? Because there were only sixty-three chairs in the classroom, and five of them remained unoccupied.

The classroom was very quiet, all the students present were looking at Qin Jiran, who sat there calmly on the teacher’s chair, quietly browsing through the students’ profiles, seemingly unperturbed and not the slightest bit angry.

But the more composed he was, the more pressure the students below felt. They didn’t even dare breathe loudly, and the entire classroom was completely silent, creating a rather eerie atmosphere.

With two minutes remaining, two more students rushed into the classroom. They were about to say something when they suddenly caught sight of Qin Jiran on stage and instantly shut their mouths, standing at the door with pale faces, not knowing what to do and looking very panicked.

Qin Jiran, however, did not even glance at them, continuing to read the profiles. This left the two students uncertain about what to do next, standing at the door, caught between entering and not entering.

Two young men around twenty years old hesitated for a while before they moved their feet and quietly sneaked into the classroom. Seeing that Qin Jiran had no reaction, they quietly took their seats and let out a huge sigh of relief, which was a little too loud. They immediately clamped their mouths shut, almost choking themselves.

Another minute passed, which meant there was only one last minute to go before the start of the class, yet there were still three students missing. Among the attendees, some appeared slightly anxious, while others seemed to be enjoying the predicament. Qin Jiran gave a fleeting look that took in everyone’s expressions.
