"Then please ask the two gentlemen to rest for a while. President Su is in a meeting. As soon as the meeting ends, I will report to President Su," Kang Zhong’s voice transmitted through the phone. His voice was so loud that even Qin Zhenyi, who was standing nearby, could hear it clearly. His complexion immediately soured.

"Certainly, I will let the guests know," the secretary said politely as she hung up the phone and then repeated Kang Zhong’s words to Qin Zhenyi. She added, "If you are busy, perhaps it would be better to schedule another meeting. President Su’s meetings often last two or three hours. However, if you are not in a hurry, please enjoy some tea. Our Longjing tea is quite excellent."

No matter how good the Longjing tea here might be, it could never compare to the Qin family’s tea leaves. Qin Zhenyi, who was already in a bad mood, felt further irked as he looked at the polite secretary, but perhaps it was his own perspective that made him feel as if she was mocking him!

After waiting for more than two hours, Qin Zhenyi finally lost all patience and took out his phone to call Su Yanyi directly.

Of course, Su Yanyi was not in a meeting; she had been in her office handling paperwork. But since she did not care for Qin Zhenyi, she simply let him wait. When her phone rang, Su Yanyi glanced at it and pressed the mute button. She did not answer, nor did she hang up, pretending as if she had not heard it.
