Qin Haowen wanted to say that wasn’t enough time, but seeing Su Yanyi’s indifferent expression, he wisely began to get to the point: "I want to join hands with you to acquire shares of the Qin Corporation. I can get insider information from the Qin’s, but I lack the funds to act. This is where I need your help. "What’s the plan? It sounds too easy. No such thing as a free lunch, especially not from me," Su Yanyi said with a hint of mockery. With the status of an unwelcome illegitimate child, Qin Haowen was in no position to talk business with her, regardless of his capabilities.

"I have two pieces of information with me right now. If you’re willing to pay, I’ll sell them to you," Qin Haowen said, having come prepared. He shook the documents he had in hand. He wanted to destroy Qin Corporation and the Qin family, but not himself. He needed the money; betraying the Qin’s and getting paid was a win-win for him.

Su Yanyi glanced over the documents and shook her head bluntly: "Not interested."

If Qin Haowen could obtain such information, the Su family could too. In fact, her goal was different from his: she wanted to own Qin Corporation, but she had never considered making the Qin family suffer terribly, let alone face any prison time. At most, she would take their money and shares. The kind of information likely in Qin Haowen’s possession, like evidence of Qin Zhenren and others’ crimes such as tax evasion or bribery, wasn’t what Su Yanyi wanted.

In all the plans she had made against the Qin family, Su Yanyi always maintained a balance; she aimed for their wealth and shares but never to harm them physically or put them behind bars.

Qin Haowen frowned tightly, seemingly in disbelief that Su Yanyi would reject his offer so easily. He thought to himself that Qin Jiran’s status was even more pitiable than his, and there must be resentment towards the Qin’s. How could they truly be indifferent!

Indeed, he could have manipulated the information himself, but he lacked the connections. Even if he were to expose them, the outcome might not meet his expectations, and besides, he needed the money. That’s why he had brought the information to negotiate.

Qin Haowen looked uncertainly at Qin Jiran and asked, "Are you really indifferent? With this information, you and the Su’s could easily acquire Qin Corporation using your influence. By then, you would be the new masters of Qin Corporation, and even Qin Zhenyi would regret his past actions!"

It couldn’t be denied that Qin Haowen had hit on some key points, at least that’s what Su Yanyi had in mind. Her methods simply differed from his.

Though Su Yanyi was ruthless and had countless ways to make the Qin family end up as tragically as the Wang Family, she chose not to. No matter how much she despised Qin Zhenyi, he was still Qin Jiran’s biological father.
