"Madam, we’ve come to report to Miss, the seeds she planted in the backyard have sprouted, and their growth is... very good..." The worker trailed off at the end of their sentence, clearly indicating there was some issue.

Mother Su was hearing this news for the first time and didn’t ask for details, instead she called over to Su Yanyi.

"Yanyi, what did you plant in the backyard? Your third sister-in-law has come to look for you." Mother Su called out to Su Yanyi. The third sister-in-law was the gardener who had just reported the situation. In her forties, she managed and cared for all the plants and flowers in the Su Family Mansion, an experienced gardener indeed.

Su Yanyi stepped aside from the circle and walked over to her third sister-in-law, asking, "What’s wrong with the seeds?" In the days she had been away, she had almost forgotten about the unknown thing she had planted.

"I don’t know what species the seed is, but it’s growing very well. In your absence, it has already broken through the soil, and it’s nearly a meter tall now.
