"What did I do wrong?" Qin Jiran’s first reaction was to think he had done something to displease his mother-in-law.

"Humph!" If Qin Jiran had done something wrong, her mother would’ve lectured him, not her.

About three minutes later, as Su Yanyi was nearly nodding off to sleep, Qin Jiran’s hands became gentler. However, he suddenly asked, "Yanyi, what did your mother talk to you about?"
