After a short while, Lin Shiyu and Liu Keke arrived at the entrance of the banquet hall and were about to enter when two security guards at the entrance stopped them.

"Sorry, the banquet today is very important; everyone has to verify their identity before entering. Please tell me your names. After verifying, you can go in," one of the staff politely told Lin Shiyu and Liu Keke.

Lin Shiyu nodded and then provided her and Liu Keke’s names.

The staff member then typed Lin Shiyu’s name into a computer. Soon, the staff member furrowed his brows, looked at Lin Shiyu and Liu Keke, and said, "I’m sorry, but your names are not on the list. You cannot enter."

"We came with Gao Qingqing and Gao Zhiyuan. They didn’t say anything about a list or identity verification. Are you kidding us?" Liu Keke immediately got angry, her eyes revealing her fury.

However, the staff member remained calm and replied coolly, "If that’s the case, why didn’t you come in with Miss Gao Qingqing? If it really is as you said, and you came with Miss Gao Qingqing, why don’t you have her come out to get you?"

Upon hearing this, Lin Shiyu’s face turned ugly. "She went in ahead of us. Aren’t we not allowed to bring phones? How can I call her then? How about you let us in first, I’ll find Gao Qingqing, and have her come talk to you. Isn’t that the same thing?"

The staff member, expressionless and indifferent, shook his head, "Sorry, rules are rules, please don’t make this difficult for us. We are just working here; we can only allow people who are on the list to enter. If you are not on the list, unless you can prove that you belong to one of the top five wealthy families, you are not qualified to enter. If I let you in, I could lose my job, so I hope you can understand..."

As the words fell, Lin Shiyu and Liu Keke turned around and prepared to leave. However, before they had taken a few steps, the driver who had brought them there stopped Lin Shiyu and Liu Keke.
