Chapter 32  Luck Value Decline! I’m So Angry! Qingxue’s Feelings!

“Your vital energy is far more vigorous than that of ordinary Transcendence Realm martial artists…”

“To temper your body to such a degree — this isn’t the work of our Yuhua Immortal Sect’s cultivation techniques. What technique have you been cultivating?”

The voice of the Yuhua Daoist was ice-cold.

With this stern accusation, the disciples watching from the stands were suddenly enlightened.

“Isn’t he supposed to be using the techniques of the Yuhua Immortal Sect?”

“I thought something was off! How could his body possibly be so powerful?”

“A mere outer sect disciple beating a core disciple? There’s definitely something fishy going on!”

Speculations erupted one after another. Earlier, they had been stunned by Fang Yuhan’s sudden outburst of strength and hadn’t had time to react.

Now, with the Yuhua Daoist questioning him, malicious thoughts began to brew in their hearts. This guy’s just an outer sect disciple, lower in status than half the people here!

Why should he be allowed to defeat a true disciple?

Something’s definitely wrong!

The darker side of human nature began to show.

Everyone wants to rise overnight — but no one wants to be surpassed by someone who came after them.

“I…”

Fang Yuhan was momentarily speechless. The Netherworld Map was his only hope for the future — how could he reveal such a treasure so easily?

“Did you inherit someone else’s legacy — a legacy that doesn’t belong to the Yuhua Immortal Sect!”

The Yuhua Daoist pressed coldly. Fang Yuhan’s expression changed. Indeed, he had received the Netherworld Map and the Formless Dragon-Tiger Pill from a dying man.

Calling it an inherited legacy wouldn’t be wrong. And yet something didn’t feel right. He wanted to explain, but couldn’t find the words.

“So it is true!”

Fang Yuhan’s hesitation only confirmed the Yuhua Daoist’s suspicions. This boy must have inherited the Blood Mountain Ancestor’s legacy!

“Traitor!”

The Yuhua Daoist roared in fury, slamming down his palm again.

Crack!

The fighting arena’s surface cracked and caved in; the surrounding mountains trembled as if about to collapse. Under this tremendous pressure, Fang Yuhan let out a miserable cry, feeling like his entire body was being torn apart.

At the last possible moment, divine light surged from the Netherworld Map hidden within his Sea of Consciousness — Only then was he spared from being crushed to death by the Daoist’s palm.

A flicker of pity crossed Fang Qingxue’s face. Though Fang Yuhan was born a servant. He had trained diligently since joining the sect with her.

He was gentle by nature — and to the usually aloof Qingxue, he was one of the few people she could talk to. Now, seeing Fang Yuhan on the verge of death, she turned her face away, unable to bear the sight.

“Qingxue, do you and this Fang Yuhan share a close relationship?” Su Ming asked softly.

“Not particularly close,” Fang Qingxue replied bitterly. “But he is from the Fang family — one of the few I know here at Yuhua Immortal Sect.”

Her expression was complicated. But upon seeing the Yuhua Daoist’s fury, she knew that even if she pleaded, it would be useless.

“I see.”

Su Ming slowly nodded.

“Master Yuhua, the matter hasn’t been thoroughly investigated yet. Please don’t act rashly — all things require proper inquiry.”

While Qingxue was still stunned, Su Ming’s voice rang out.

“Perhaps Fang Yuhan simply encountered a fortuitous opportunity. After all, body tempering techniques are numerous — not exclusive to the Blood Mountain Ancestor.”

Su Ming’s calm voice brought the furious Yuhua Daoist back to his senses.

“The Imperial Son is right.”

Not daring to disrespect Su Ming, the Yuhua Daoist withdrew his power and respectfully responded.

“Take him to Shenhua Peak…”

“During this time, do not allow him to leave even a single step — I will conduct a full investigation.”

At his command, law enforcement elders dragged the half-dead Fang Yuhan away. Fang Qingxue felt deeply grateful. In such a moment, only Su Ming had the status to dissuade the Yuhua Daoist.

“Thank you, Imperial Son.”

She bowed slightly in gratitude.

“Think nothing of it — after all, he’s your family servant. Just a small favor.”

Su Ming smiled gently, his demeanor warm and elegant. Hearing him softly call her “Qingxue,” paired with his sunny smile. Fang Qingxue’s heart skipped a beat, her gratitude deepening. Meanwhile, in his unconscious state, Fang Yuhan’s eyes burned crimson.

He stared fiercely towards the platform — especially at the sight of Qingxue bowing to Su Ming, his eyes practically spitting fire.

With a roar full of hate.

“It was you!”

“Su Ming! You must’ve said something!”

“You damn demon! I’ll kill you!”

He looked deranged, gnashing his teeth.

“How dare you show disrespect to the Demon Emperor’s son?”

The Yuhua Daoist erupted in fury.

“Fang Yuhan, shut up! If not for the Imperial Son, your life would already be over!”

“You don’t even know how to be grateful — and now you speak so rudely!”

Even Fang Qingxue frowned, speaking coldly, “Enough. I was just thanking Su Ming for saving you.”

“You repay kindness with anger — are you that blind?”

Her voice was cold and her expression stern. Just moments ago, she had been grateful for Su Ming’s help. Never did she expect, that Fang Yuhan would be so ungrateful!

“I…”

Seeing Qingxue take Su Ming’s side and scold him. Fang Yuhan burned with fury and suffered a deep blow.

Pfft…!

His rage triggered a backlash, causing him to cough up blood and collapse with a cry.

“I hate this so much!”

And in the next moment — he lost consciousness.

“Drag him away.”

The Yuhua Daoist ordered coldly.

Fang Yuhan was dragged away like a dead dog.

Ding!

“Fang Qingxue feels disappointed in Fang Yuhan. Luck value -100.”

The system’s notification chimed.

With two consecutive reductions, Fang Yuhan’s luck had now dropped below 500.

A new section appeared on his character panel —

Luck Core: Netherworld Map!

Nightfall. Imperial Son’s Palace.

Su Ming studied Fang Yuhan’s status panel.

“Netherworld Map? That appears to be the treasure left behind by the Netherworld Emperor.”

Su Ming raised an eyebrow.

He had heard of it before. Among the Three Thousand Great Worlds, the number of Great Emperors that had ever existed was limited. The Netherworld Emperor was one such ancient sovereign from tens of thousands of years ago — a peerless powerhouse.

The Netherworld Map was his personal treasure. Containing the path to godhood — the Dao of the Netherworld. It recorded every technique, spell, and divine power the Netherworld Emperor had ever learned. And it hid secrets about the locations of his buried treasures.

In essence — everything the Netherworld Emperor had in life was sealed within this divine map.
