Chapter 359: To the Military Territory

The sword slashed through the barrier. But immediately after it cut through the barrier, the barrier together with Jason both disappeared.

Henry’s expression shifted the moment that he realized that Jason had disappeared. He had not expected that there was actually something like this that Jason possessed, capable of taking him out of this place.

The moment that the barrier was formed, Henry thought that perhaps this was just a defensive item that Jason possessed. But now, it looked like he was extremely wrong about it.

Henry’s expression could not help but turn extremely grim. With Jason getting out of this place, that implied that Alicia’s safety was no longer guaranteed.

Adam also rushed over the moment that he realized that Jason had somehow disappeared. He wore a complicated expression on his face as he looked at the place where Jason had disappeared from.

"What should we do now?" Adam tried to calm himself down as he asked. But to say the truth, he was extremely furious. With Jason getting out of this place, that implied that he might end up hurting Alicia.

But that was definitely not something that Adam wanted to see. Alicia was his twin sister. Although they had not seen each other for over a decade, that did not imply that he did not care much about her. In fact, the love that he possessed for his sister had only increased during the past years that he had not seen her.

The two of them were twins. And due to that reason, they possessed some kind of connection. It turned out that the feeling that he was getting previously was due to the fact that he was somehow connected to Alicia.

"We’ll have to go and get her from where the zombies are. That implies that we will have to go into the zombie territory. But before that, we have to handle the matter concerning this territory." Henry said after thinking for a while.

Of course Henry wanted to go towards the zombie territory right now. But that was definitely not a good decision to make. Although it was clear that he had completely injured Jason, but they were not sure about the location where Alicia had been kept.

So, they still needed to get information about the zombies. It might be true that they were currently strong, capable of dealing with even the leader of the zombies, but it was going to be difficult for them to be able to deal with an entire horde of zombies. That was especially so considering that almost all the zombies within the city were under Jason’s control.

Adam remained silent. But the expression on his face was enough to tell Henry that he had already consented with what he had said.

Of course Henry understood that the reason why Jason had gotten out of here was because of his mistake. Had he not talked too much, Jason would have definitely not gotten a chance of taking that item from his pocket, before crushing it.

So, he had decided that whatever was going to happen to Alicia, he was the one that was going to take the blame. Additionally, he had already decided that no matter what, he had to make sure that he got Alicia back.

With that finally out of the way, Henry turned around and looked at Sarah. Then he said, "I know that you are currently thinking about your family. We can stay here and look for your family in case they are here. But for you, you can go together with two people of your choice to the military territory. Go and try and see if you can find any information about your parents there."

Sarah was not expecting that Henry was going to tell her to go to look for her parents, instead of sticking together with the group. But nevertheless, she was excited.

With a solemn expression on her face, she nodded her head. Then, she looked at Olivia, clearly indicating that she was having the intention of going to the military territory together with Olivia.

Of course Olivia did not even hesitate to nod her head. "We’ll be going together. Don’t worry, no matter what, I’m going to make sure that uncle and aunt get out of there as long as they are alive. And if they are not..."

Olivia did not continue saying what she was having in her mind. But nevertheless, Sarah immediately understood what Olivia was trying to imply. Of course she understood that most of the time, Olivia was extremely blunt.

Since this was the apocalypse, from the way that Olivia was talking, it was clear that Sarah was supposed to expect any outcome. So, she did not say anything, but simply went ahead and gave Olivia a nod.

Finally, for the final person, they looked at Diana. Diana immediately understood that they wanted her to accompany them. But of course, although they had already forged a relationship, and they could be considered as friends, Diana was Henry’s summoned creature.

So, she was completely hesitant on leaving Henry’s side. So, before she made a decision, she looked towards Henry. But when she realized that he was nodding, she immediately agreed.

Olivia and Sarah did not blame Diana on how hesitant she was in making the decision. In any case, she was part of Henry’s combat strength. So, she could not make her own decisions if Henry was against it.

With the decision already made, Henry looked at Dylan. Then, he said, "Take them there. It is quite a distance away from here to be able to reach where the military territory is located. Take them there with the Jeep, before you come back."

"Yes master." Dylan responded with a smile on his face. He was happy to be given a responsibility by Henry. To him, there was nothing better than making sure that he completed the tasks that he was given by Henry.

The four immediately went ahead and entered into the Jeep. Dylan was going to be the driver. As for the ladies, they decided to congregate inside the living room that was present within the Jeep to discuss on a strategy that they were going to use.

They were not much sure about the combat strength of the military. But because the military territory was the strongest territory amongst all the territories that belonged to humans within this city, that implied that they were not weak.

So, deciding to go ahead and start confronting them head on was definitely not a good idea. They had to come up with a plan that they were going to use in order to be able to get what they wanted.

"I think that it is better if we go in there as survivors. After I get into the territory, we can go ahead and try to look for information about the whereabouts of your parents." Olivia suggested.

Sarah thought about it for a moment before she agreed. That was actually true. If they decided to go ahead and start attacking the territory, they would definitely be overwhelmed by the numbers. After all, they could not fight an entire territory with just the three of them.

As for the Jeep, they also understood that Henry was going to use it. After all, Henry was planning on attacking the zombies. Currently, the number of zombies was definitely the highest within the entire world.

The Jeep was definitely good when it came to dealing with a large crowd. But nevertheless, the group doubted that Henry was going to start attacking just like that. He was definitely going to use a strategy in order to be able to get into that place.

Dylan did not discuss anything with the ladies. Instead, he simply focused on driving. In case there was a zombie that appeared in front of him, he did not even waste the energy of the Jeep. Instead, he used the Jeep to kill them through the barrier that was surrounding the Jeep.

Of course there was no way that those low-level zombies could handle the impact of the barrier on them as the Jeep was moving at an incredible speed.

At this moment, Dylan was already thinking about what he was supposed to do after he had delivered the three ladies to their destination. Should he go hunting so that he could get more mutation crystals for his master? Or should he perhaps try to see if he could get more information about the zombies’ territory?

The three ladies went ahead and arranged a strategy that they were going to use. Since they did not know the layout of the entire territory, they decided that they were going to spread out.

Other than trying to look for information about Sarah’s parents, they were also going to gather information about that territory. This way, it would be easier for Henry to be able to take over the territory without much effort.

After about 30 minutes of driving, the Jeep finally arrived at the destination. Of course, the Jeep remained a distance away from the territory walls. If the Jeep approached, they would definitely be forced to hand over the Jeep for inspection.

And if anybody entered into the Jeep, they would realize that the space within the Jeep was definitely bigger as compared to the outward appearance of the Jeep. And that was something that was bound to make many greedy people set their eyes on the Jeep, inviting more trouble for them.

After Dylan stopped the car, the three ladies alighted. At this moment, they had already changed the armors that they were wearing from the high level armors to low level armors.

But just as they were about to go towards the entrance of the territory, Dylan asked a very important question. "Hey you guys, how are you going to explain about your information being invisible?"
