Chapter 116: Chapter 116: Han Xiaoxi, are you out of your mind?

It’s the first time in her life that Han Xi is buying underwear for a man, and she’s quite embarrassed internally.

She pushed through her discomfort and walked into the men’s section, where a saleswoman enthusiastically approached her: "Miss, are you buying underwear for your boyfriend?"

Han Xi nodded.

"Are you looking for briefs or boxers, and what’s your boyfriend’s waist size?"

"Boxers, with a waist size of 25."

The saleswoman smiled and pointed to a row of underwear on the shelf, "These are all in your boyfriend’s size. Which ones would you like?"

Han Xi lowered her head and examined them carefully. Finally, she chose a few boxes with darker colors: "I’ll take these."

"Alright, please follow me to make the payment."

Han Xi followed the saleswoman to the Silver Platform to pay, then walked out with the already packaged paper bag.

Downstairs at the coffee shop, Manman had already ordered coffee and waved to Han Xi as she came out of the elevator with the bag.

Manman had chosen a table by the window. As soon as Han Xi sat down, a tall figure appeared at her side: "Xiao Xi, what a coincidence."

Han Xi looked up and gave a slight smile on her clean and elegant face: "Yes, Manman and I were just browsing upstairs."

Li Chenghao was wearing a neat navy blue suit today, with a dark tie under his white shirt collar, giving him an air of mature stability.

Chenghao’s gaze at Han Xi was full of undisguised affection. He slightly curled his lips and spoke slowly: "Mind if I join you for a cup of coffee?"

Truth be told, Han Xi wasn’t really keen on being around him like this. Although she can face Li Chenghao calmly and deal with their past, after all, Chenghao is her ex-boyfriend, and she’s now married. There’s no need for them to sit together for coffee.

Han Xi was about to refuse, but before she could open her mouth, Manman had already started indignantly: "Li Chenghao, what makes you think Xiao Xi would want to have coffee with you? You really have some nerve."

Chenghao wasn’t angry because he knew Manman’s character—always returning grudges and never holding back anger. Considering what he had done to Han Xi, Manman must still be furious inside.

"I know I wronged Xiao Xi before, but now I just want to make it up to her." Chenghao stood with one hand in his pocket, a melancholic look in his deep eyes.

Manman rubbed the edge of her coffee cup, sarcastically curling her lips: "Our Xiao Xi is married. She doesn’t care about any of your compensations. Just don’t disturb her life in the future."

Chenghao was hit where it hurt the most; he still couldn’t accept that Han Xi was married.

"In that case, I won’t bother you." Chenghao curled his lips into a smile, looked at Han Xi, and then left.

Manman picked up the white coffee cup from the table and took a deep sip, her brows furrowed so tightly they could crush a fly: "When did he come back? Have you two already met?"

Han Xi gently stirred her coffee with a spoon, speaking very calmly: "I don’t know when he returned exactly, but I’ve met with him a few times recently."

"Student Han Xiaoxi, are you out of your mind? What good is there in meeting a huge jerk like him? Have you forgotten about him sleeping with your own sister? And you foolishly meet him? If Lu Jinghan finds out, you’re dead meat. Go ahead and dig your own grave."
