After his brother agreed, Kang was also pleasantly surprised. Initially, he wanted to become a superhero but he put that decision on the back of his head and decided to be a villain only because Gwyn hated heroes.

He had never had a family before and he subconsciously wanted to do anything right by him.

But things got out of hand and he got taken to the academy. It was a depressing time. He missed his brother, and he hated that place.

’But if my brother wanted me to become a superhero, I will become a hero.’ He nodded to himself.

"it’s never too late. Today I was out on a mission. I’ll bring back Kang with me and tell the others that I’ve found his latent superpowers"

Kang slumped on the couch. ’This guy acts fast. Look how anxious he is to take me back to the academy... I want to stay with Gwyn...’ he nuzzled against his brother’s shoulders.

Gwyn gently patted his forehead. "Right now? can he leave in the morning?"

"I’m actually on probation.... if I return to the academy now, I won’t be able to leave for a while," Altren said.

Kang just glared at him intensely. Altren is really capable of convincing just about anyone. Even his cold-hearted brother was completely duped by this bastard.

Gwyn peered at him. "when will he come back... I mean you must have rules.. can he contact me?"

"He won’t be able to contact anyone. But after a year he would be able to get his license. Don’t worry ill personally train him. he will be the best of the best,"

Kang rolled his eyes. ’Really Altren, really. Your uncle is training me, you know. I don’t need your half-assed knowledge. I’d rather Aaron teach me than you.’

Suddenly he paused on that though.

’Aaron is my target character then shouldn’t I be maintaining my distance from him.... maybe training under Altren might also be a good idea.’

"Thank you so much. Thank you for saving me and helping me with everything," Kang said with a pitiful smile. ’Two can play this game buddy.’

Altren had a very confused look on his face. "it’s an honor..." he dryly whispered. "we.. should get going...."

Gwyn stood up and ran into the room. he came out with a small bag of stuff. "Your clothes are in here. your toothbrush and everything you need. If you want any side dishes let me know I’ll cook some... oh I can’t send it to you right.."

"you can send it through me?" Altren took the chance to intervene.

"No!" Kang rejected him immediately. "Brother you should not be in contact with him for now. The snakehead knows that Alta is in contact with you, though him they might find you or try to harm you. Please never put yourself at risk,"

"you’ve got a point...." biting his bottom lips, he peered down at him. "Eat well... and sleep well." he removed his sweaty jacket and wrapped it around his shoulders. "Stay healthy, okay. I’ll wait for you right here...’

Kang hugged him once gain. "ill do everything to get back to you,"

"Zhuzhu...."

"Gwyn... brother..."

They both silently mumbled hugging each other tightly.

"And don’t ever meet with Alta, it’s very risky. Remember that brother. You should run if he gets close got it?"

"Got it," Gwyn nodded with a bright smile.

With an accomplished look, Kang glanced back. mister Altren was silently fuming on the inside. ’beat ya sucker. You think you can dupe my older brother. Think not. I will be his gatekeeper. I will make sure he never meets with you. buhahahh...’

They all walked out and stood by the door.

"We’ll get going them," Altren held out his hand.

Kang took his warm hand. Feeling the tight grip, he gritted his teeth and pinched the back of his hand.

"Bye brother..." he waved back at him. "you must promise me.. you should not act against snake head gang...." Gwyn reminded silently.

"Brother! Please... promise me..."

"I promise," he said with his eyes closed. "but only for a year,"

"That’s more than enough. I’ll finish my training them and we can both take revenge for me,"

Gwyn smiled. "yes, we should."

Altren lifted him up in a priced carry.

"What are you doing..." Kang looked at him weirdly but that hero’s gaze was on his brother.

"we’ll get going then..."

"Bye Zhuzhu..." Gwyn said with a soft smile.

"Bye..."

Kan waited.. they were not flying away. He subtly pinched Altren’s neck. "aren’t we going to fly away?" he said in a soft whisper.

"we’ll get going..."’ Altren repeated like a broken record.

Kang realized what this guy wanted. He fucking wanted his brother to say goodbye.

But his bonehead brother did not understand that either. He smiled and said, "bye Kang.. I’ll miss you..."

Kang mentally slapped himself. "Alta if you don’t leave right now, I will expose all your dirty little secrets to my dear darling brother,"

sighing Altren took to the sky.

Kang watched his brother, grew smaller and smaller until he could only see his ant-like figure standing by the front door.

He waved at him. it was dark. Gwyn could not see it, but even so, he did..

He waved until they were completely out of sight.
