"Yuri?" Eric gazed up at him in shock. His forehead was covered in blood and his right eye was swollen and red, but Yuri did not seem fazed by this. His cold blue eyes peered behind him at the shooter. "Who allowed you to shoot my Eric," he kicked the man down.

Gaping, Eric watched Yuri take down the foreigner with just a few moves.

’Whoa....’

He had to admit his heart was skipping a beat looking at Yuri’s dashing actions.

Yuri then turned back. Facing him was those cold pair of blue eyes.

Eric paused for a second. ’Why are his eyes a different color.’

Yuri grabbed his wrist tightly and wordlessly to drag him towards the nearby alley.

"Stop you are bleeding," Eric grabbed a hold of his arm tightly and tried to drag him out. "You need to get your wound checked out!"

Yuri paused and peered down at him. his blood-stained hands gently touched his cheeks delicately. "Eric."

Eric closed his eyes tightly. he... he couldn’t help it. This man was too much of a seducer. "I’ll call the ambulance. So please stop running around."

"Eric..." a bloody thumb blood gently painted warm blood on his pale cheeks.

"y-yes that’s my name... can you please..." he pulled away and stepped away from him.

Yuri peered down at him with those baby blues. "I don’t have much time. so, you have to listen carefully. You can’t trust anyone. Not even me. In this world, nor in any other worlds."

Eric’s retreating steps came to a halt. "What did you just say? What do you mean other worlds?"

Yuri stepped close and grabbed his shoulders tightly. "I’m sorry I can’t explain more. You... you have to trust me. Stay away from me. Even if I beg on my knees, do not get close to me."

The next second Yuri rolled onto the ground limp like a cooked noodle.

The ambulance arrived at the scene and Yuri was taken away on a stretcher. As for the gunman, he was apprehended immediately.

Dazedly, he watched the ambulance drive off into the busy street

Yuna came up to him with a tissue. "You have blood on your cheeks."

Eric slightly touched his warm cheeks. It was Yuri’s blood. "let’s follow the ambulance."

"Wait. Don’t you want to put a distance between you both?" Yuna grabbed his hand. "This is your chance? It didn’t look like a big injury..."

"I need answers."

What Yuri said made no sense. One minute, the man was begging him to choose him as his lover and the next he was telling him to stay away.

’How is it possible for a person to change so much in just a few minutes?’

Yuri, he knew, had warm brown eyes. But the Yuri he saw today had cold blue eyes.

He quickly hopped into his car and followed the ambulance.

Since he was not related to Yuri he was not allowed into his room. Sitting in the common room, he gazed at the white tiled floor.

Yuri’s cold tone and accent sounded so familiar.

’Where have I heard it before...’

He was so sure he had heard in his past life when he was Zhu Kang.

’But who....’ He racked his brain trying to find answers.

But seeing his serious expression, she soon gave up.

"Whatever it is you are going through, you can rest assured I will be by your side. So don’t be scared," she held his trembling hands.

Eric blankly nodded.

If the possessed Yuri was in fact an agent that could mean anyone by his side could be possessed and he could be appended without even realizing it.

Just the thought alone made him tremble violently.

’If he was an agent, then why did he warn me? Wasn’t he supposed to capture me? What is going on man... this is too frustrating... I don’t have answers to any of my questions.’

Groaning, Eric hugged his aching head.

As of now, there was no one who could answer his questions, nor could he search for the answers in this world.

All he could do was be prepared.

Prepared to fight against the agents who would eventually possess the people in this world.
