Eric bit his lips anxiously. He had made a hasty deal with Yuri in order for him to leave him alone.

’What if he refused to leave me alone... what do I do then?’

The second time he met Yuri in the restaurant his heart already started to pound for him. And the moment he said he was going to divorce his wife he started to get his hopes up.

Eric did not want that. he did not want to hope for anything as hope will only lead to disappointment.

Sighing, he leaned against the soft cushion.

"What’s got you sighing?" Haolei came out of the bathroom with just a towel and soaking wet hair.

"God you’re dripping like a dog. Go wipe your hair," he kicked his ass.

"hissss..." Haolei groaned loudly touching his back.

Eric’s eyes widened ever so slightly. ’why did he hiss... oh shit... oh shit. is my brother the 0???!!!!’ he then gazed at little Shadow who had a crafty smile on his face. ’this guy..... I really underestimated him...’

Little Shadow winked his way and reached out to massage Haolei’s back. "Does it still hurt?"

"No! I-I’ll dry my hair..." Blushing, Haolei ran to his room.

Eric sighed with a shake of his head. "If this is what I think it is little Shadow we need to have the talk about bees and birds,"

Sha just raised a brow. "Sex talk? I know all about it."

He said it with so much confidence that made Eric stumbled slightly. His eyelids started to twitch. "You might know about normal sex but what is between you both is... not normal. We need to discuss how to prevent my brother’s body from being injected with too much yin. It would overpower him."

Little Shadow frowned slightly. "Is it bad for him?"

"Yes, potentially in the long run it will reduce his life exponentially."

Little shadow instantly shot up. "That dangerous?!"

"yes..." he pulled him down. "But there is a way to prevent it. you guys use condoms, right? I can draw enchantments on it so that it acts as a shield. Or maybe we can stick the inscription directly on your body. That way it can prevent your entire body from sharing yin for a while. After you are done with sex you can just wash it off. It won’t affect you in any way."

"give it to me," he desperately held his hand. "Give me at least twenty."

Right at that moment Haolei walked out of the room and heard this. blushing red, he ran to little shadow and cupped his mouth. "Why are you telling him all that? Don’t listen to a thing he says Eric. it’s all lies."

Little shadow pushed his hand away with a huge grin. "We do it more than twenty times per week." He winked.

"Hey! Stop talking," Haolei pushed him down and wrestled with him.

As a professional third wheel Eric watched the lovely fight with a dull look in his eyes. ’can you guys not....sigh was I like this in my past life?’

Thinking about it he and Aaron were totally oblivious to the world. Every time they would go hang out at his brother’s place, Altren would grimace their way and call them out for being too lovey dovey. He hadn’t thought about it much.

But now, looking at the sickeningly sweet pair he could understand Altren’s pain.

’sigh..... singles dogs always suffer a lot.’

The two started to giggle and kiss softly.

’Okay that is my cue to leave’ he silently stood up and moved to the door.

"Where are you going? You just got here," Haolei gazed his way, confusedly.

Eric just smiled. "Got a call from Yuna. She wants to see me right now about a case. You guys do what you do,"

"Wait I made muffins." He ran to the kitchen and packed a small brown bag full of tasty treats. "Give your review star chef,"

Eric rolled his eyes. "Anything you make tastes divine." He hugged his brother tightly. "Stay safe both of you." He handed the inscription to his brother’s hand. "Use it well. Never do it without it, got it?"

He watched his brother’s face turn beet red. Chuckling he walked out of the house. "see you~"

Since staying here was not an option, he had to go back home to Yuna’s place but his mood has improved significantly. Yuna might not notice anything different about him.

With a small smile, he hopped out of the apartment complex. right by the door, he noticed an inconspicuous black car waiting there.

He knew every single resident in this apartment and they were all old ladies. They were all passenger princesses and would never drive.

’Who does this car belong to?’

He peered at the car with interest. The window was tinted but it seemed like there was someone sitting in the driver’s seat.

Frowning, he walked away.

’Who could it be, why are they here at this time,’ he used his yin-yang eyes to observe the car. To his surprise, he saw a very thick black smoke covering the entire vehicle.

’Shit.... That’s all yin..’

Yin energy mixed in with resentment turns into this miasma that is harmful to humans. It is not visible to human eyes. Only yin-yang eyes can see it.
