Before they exited the room Eric placed the bear on its right spot and made sure to face it backward so the pair could not notice the torn eyes.

"What do we need to find the corpse?"

Eric looked at her, eyes wide open. "But if we open the floorboards, it will start to reek. The Ferrier will not let us leave peacefully."

"What if the cops don’t search it? we can blatantly tell them that the ghost said it’s underneath, can we?"

Eric frowned deeply. Yuna had a point there. They couldn’t say that out loud or else they would be considered a suspect in the investigation. The cops would never believe their ghost stories, so it will only get harder to deal with. Plus, they were in Demark not in China. They did not have the power of the powerful wang family here.

We just have to deal with this in a subtle way.

"Maybe we can have the ghost pretend to be sane and inform the cops."

"The parents will prove she is crazy." Eric rejected it. "They have that much power for sure,"

"But they won’t be able to continue on the act when cops find the corpse." Yuna grinned widely. "We will subtly leave a hint that there is a body..."

"That could work." Eric nodded subtly. "How about we lose a few floorboards so that the cops can get in easily."

"Yeah, let’s do that," they squatted down under the vintage bed. "Fuck this is dusty as fuck." Yuna coughed loudly.

"Silence." Eric crawled in and touched the spot on the floor. Under that floorboard, he did feel the yin powers of a decomposing corpse. But the only difference was that this yin was very controlled. it was like someone had set up a yin seal on it. some other powerful exorcists got involved.

he wore his disposable glove and started to unscrew the floorboard. it was better to leave no trace at all.

"No wonder I didn’t feel it. they hid it so well."

"What is it?" Yuna excitedly peaked from behind him

"This corpse is intact," he opened the floorboard. And in the small cavity on the floor was a beautiful young lady. Her body did not even have a trace of decomposition on her. Even the blood on her stomach was fresh.

Yuna peered at it in surprise. "Wow, she is so fresh. Can we send the ghost in here again?"

"No, the body is only holding in by a small thread." Eric picked the small talesmen stuffed into her chest. As soon as it was removed the body started to decompose rapidly letting off a rancid smell.

"fuck" Yuna hurriedly crawled out of there.

Eric followed after her. "Shit it’s so bad."

Eric hurriedly put a seal on the room. "This seal will last a few minutes. lest leave before that. After that, it’s up to the cops."

The room freshened up instantly.

Eric and Yuna walked out of there without showing any expression.

"What is it? Did you guys find it?" the father anxiously looked at the both.

"We couldn’t find even a trace of yin. It was because she left the room last night. Yun never lingers. I’m sorry... you might have to report her missing. After she is found we will help exorcist her. If she is alive by then." He said with a heavy sigh.

"oh my baby girl!." The mom pretended to faint.

Eric and Yuna walked out of the house with a deep sigh.

A black figure appeared right before them with a coat draped over her head.

Eric gazed at her.

"I-is what you said true... was my sister really murdered?" the young girl had a confused look on her face and beside her was a translucent ghost that was being burned by the sun.

"Yes, and since she was unjustly killed, she had not been able to get her final peace."

Eric pointedly looked at the translucent ghost whose face was being burned. he swiftly started to scribble on his yellow paper with his yin energy.

"My sister...." the young girl started to sob. "I should have protected you... I should have been here.... I shouldn’t have left...."

"don’t cry... it was not your fault... it was never your fault... please don’t cry,"

The sisters hugged each other. but neither of them could ever touch. because one was alive and one was dead.

Sighing Eric finished his talesmen. "it’s no use crying now. All you have to do is seek justice for her to help her reincarnate." Eric hurriedly placed a talisman on her burning soul. "You know what to do right?"

The possessed girl nodded. "I’ll deal with it." she started to walk away.

But Eric stopped her. "Are you going to walk to the cops like this?" the girl’s body was covered in blood and had a lot of mud stains.

"it’s okay. Let her go like this the cops will look at her wretched state and will be rushing to help her out. Oh, before that give me that camera." Yuna sat down on the corner of the road and inserted the SD card into her phone. She made sure to make a copy of it and send it to each of their mail and even sent a copy to the grandfather. "This way the cops would not be able to play dirty."

the young girl smiled. "Thank you so much."

"it’s not over yet. We won’t be able to get involved too much. But we will help you when you are in danger, so don’t hesitate to call us." He handed the business card to her.

They then dropped her off at the police office and drove to a nearby hotel.

On the way, Yuna got a call from her grandfather.

"Yes, Grandpa. We dealt with it subtly. We will not be implicated, so don’t worry."

"Good, good. you might get a call from your distant uncle don’t talk to them." He said in a weird tone.

Yuna gazed at Eric with a shrug. "Why do you say that?"

"Just don’t get involved with them. Their bloodline is cursed... its better we stay away from them,"

"Yeah sure," she shrugged and cut the call. "My old man is being weird." She gazed at her friend. But Eric seemed to be distracted.

In his hand was a small Pendrive.

"Master?"

"Huh?" Eric snapped out of his dazed state. "What is it?"

Yuna weirdly gazed at him. "Nothing. If you feel tired, just take some rest. The nearby hotel is quite far from here. This is a very remote area tsk. Why do people even choose to live here,"

"Maybe they want to stay close to nature."

"And get bit my bugs and mosquitoes? No thank you. I like the concrete jungle much more than that." she leaned back on the seat and closed her eyes.

Eris thought was still unsettled. Yuri was in that hotel. And they were leaving it. ’Would he be safe? What if the attacker tried to kill him again? What happened after I left? Is he still on the floor? Did he catch a cold? fuck... why do I even worry about him... I just wish I could just forget about everything and move on. Why is it so difficult?’

The pen drive is the only proof we have about this attacker.

He had to make sure Yuri was safe. At least that is the only thing he could do for him in this life.
