Kang watched his brother and Altren embrace and share a kiss. ’That is our cue to leave.’ he backed away slowly and closed the door behind him.

Aaron hugged him from behind. "Now that he is awake and well come and eat your breakfast."

right at this moment, his stomach decided to embarrass him by growling loudly.

"I guess I was a little hungry,"

Aaron pulled him up in his arm like a little koala and carried him over to their bed room. "Did you like the toast I made? I made it specifically for you,’

"Anyone can make a toast darling. What is so special about that?"

"Its made with all my love," Aaron kissed his cheeks.

He closed the bedroom door after them and placed Kang on the bed. "Here you go," he then handed the tray of food.

Kang bit into the piece of toast with a small smile. Even a small gesture as making toast made him feel so giddy right now. He could feel his cheeks heating up.

Aaron sat beside him placing a hand on his waist. "After eating, we’ll go somewhere. and after that its bed time"

Kang thought had other plans. He leaned forward and kissed his muscular neck leaving behind a small wet stain. "How about we skip bed time and indulge ourselves in a bit of adult activity, hmm?"

Aaron gently pecked his lips "no,"

"no?" Kang pulled away with a small frown. "Why not?"

"Zhu,..." Aaron sighed loudly. "I- I saw the surveillance video of your fight with Altren. you were badly wounded in that car crash. before we do anything... remotely adult-like, we must first get your health checked." He gently touched the top of his head.

Kang shook his hand away. "I’m totally fine. see," he pulled apart his hair and showed him his white scalp. "It was nothing."

"No, it wasn’t. its regarding your health. it’s not something to be casual about. You might still have a concussion from it. So, after you are done eating this we are getting you to a hospital and after getting the clearance from the doctor we can do anything you want,"

"fine," Zhu Kang relented.

Now that he thought about it, it was quite a surprise that his wounds healed by itself.

’system why did my wound get healed?’

A white noise was all he got. The system was unwilling to give him an answer.

Zhu Kang glanced at his hands. To him, his identity was still a mystery. He was a system before, but before that he too was a living, breathing person. ’what kind of life did I lead.. was I living in a special world like this perhaps? Did I have powers as well?’

He chewed on the piece of toast with a lot of thoughts running through his mind

As of now, the system will not give him any kind of answers.

It was better to put those thoughts to rest and think about what was presently happening.

"What happened after all that? Did you guys find jake?"

"The eighty villains you were able to identify were all apprehended. Except for a few others including jake. we traced him back to a five-star hotel quite close to the snake pit. But by the time we got there he had disappeared."

Kang bit his lips. ’Jake, that rat! I should have killed him off when I had the chance. Fuck, I will squash him like a bug I swear. How dare he hurt my brother....’

That time when Altren attacked Gwyn and in the alternate timeline when Altren killed Gwyn, were all orchestrated by jake. He did not know what kind of grudge he held against his brother, but that man kept coming after him, time and time again.

Aaron handed a cup of cool orange juice in his hand.

He sipped it tasting the yummy sour and sweet taste of the citrus. ’System, is there any way to defeat a transmigrator? Is there a tool for that or something?’

Aaron sipped it. "Perfect combination of sugar and sourness. I ordered it from a nearby fresh juice bar."

"You didn’t lovingly squeeze some juice for me?"

Aaron for a second froze. then started to laugh out loud. He took his hand and placed it on his nether region. "I can definitely squeeze some juice from here,"

"Aaron!" Kang playfully pinched his cheeks. "don’t play around when I’m eating." He bit into another piece of toast whilst rubbing his heated cheeks. ’System did you run off again? answer me, what did you mean by that?’

Zhu Kang looked at his boyfriend he was strong. Like really strong. But compared to jake he still was incomparable.

’Exactly. Don’t you dare suggest that?’ Kang finished his breakfast by then. As he was wiping his mouth, he had a small epiphany. ’Wait, jake has a system too, right?’

He wanted to know if the system was really on his side or not.

Kang gritted his teeth silently. ’What will happen if you are destroyed?’

"I will," Aaron hugged him tightly and nuzzled his head on his shoulder. Unknown to Kang his eyes shone bright blue with murderous intent

At the same time in a small bar, jake gulped down string whiskey with a deep frown. ’what happened to my plan?! Altren isn’t back....My bombs did not go off and my pawns were all apprehended!’

The bartender handed him another drink with a small smile. "Heartbreak?"

Jake hid away his detesting look and gave a pitiful smile at him. "Yes, my boyfriend... he cheated..."

"that guy is a douche then, who would have the heart to cheat on you,"

Jake just smiled. ’System, are you fucking there? What happened to the bombs I bought? Did you give me duds?’

Jake clenched the shot glass. ’That guy, did Altren kill him?’

Jake had heard enough. he simply gulped down the drink. ’How much coin balance do I have?’

He picked up his phone and browsed through a few pictures. One photo, in particular, caught his attention.

It was of Altren and zhu Kang. they were in casual wear with a lit of books in hand.

’zhu Kang is related to Gwyn, right? Let’s start with him. then we will take out everyone Altren loves one by one,’

’Great,’ jake grinned.

The bartender looked at him with a slight blush on his face.

"What if I don’t have any pawns, I can easily make a few more." he chuckled holding the heavy pouch of dust. it was enough to hypnotize a whole city.
