Zhu Kang glanced at his phone while holding Aaron gently in his embrace. The young hero snuggled into the crook of his neck. "I’m gonna be late." He whispered regretfully. He really didn’t want to leave Aaron’s warm embrace. But he had to.

"Aaron..." he whispered, pushing his head away slightly.

The superhero pouted. "Can you skip classes for the day?"

"No, I’m studying on scholarship you know. I don’t want to mess it up," he pulled Aaron’s hands off his waist.

Like a lot puppy, his lover peered at him. "I can pay your tuition fee."

"no," he patted his face gently. "go stalk me from the distance." He opened the door behind him and walked out leaving the hero in the dark.

"I love you," Aaron whispered softly.

A small smile bloomed on his face.

"oh wait," he opened the door and ran back in.

Aaron instantly pulled him into a tight hug. "I’m happy you decided to skip,"

"No no, I’m not skipping. I came here to give you this," he took out the small vial from his system space and shoved it into Aaron’s hand.

Aaron glanced at the red liquid with a grin. "Lube?"

With a dull glance, he glared at him. "it’s a life-saving portion. It can heal any kind of injury. Practically bring the dead back to life."

Aaron shook the vail slightly. The red liquid sloshed around inside, letting off a warm red glow. "What is in this?’

"Medicine. You have to keep it with you all time. Do not hesitate to use it, Aaron. I’m not kidding. this thing can literally save lives,"

Aaron handed it back to him. "Then you must keep it,"

"No, I can buy more. I brought this for you. I’ll buy some for Altren too,"

Aaron frowned. "Why him?"

"He is at risk too," Kang glanced up at him cautiously. "don’t ask me where I got this. it’s a secret I cannot share. And don’t ask me what kind of risk we are facing.... Just ... just don’t talk to Jake... and carry this with you at all times. promise me?"

Like a shadow, he had been silently following his Zhu Kang for a while. When this Jake person approached his lover he instantly hid in a dark corner.

The rest of the day was uneventful. Kang slept through most of his classes. By the last period he was sitting with Ruth yawning loudly. "Can you share the test schedule with me,"

"hmm..." Ruth whispered dully.

Kang peered at him. "is something okay? You don’t look good."

"I’m fine," Ruth gave him a smile.

He shrugged it off and started to pack his stuff up. Aaron had mentioned that he would pick him up after class. ’Hehe I can’t wait to meet my cutie-pie

With a huge grin on his face, he rushed out of the room,

"Kang, wait a minute," Ruth called him from behind.

"Hmm?" he glanced back.

"Its... shall we have a group study session? You are falling behind in your classes and I can help you out."

Kang thought about it for a moment. It sounded like a great idea. "Cool. See you then,"

"Aren’t you coming back to the dorm?" Ruth rushed after him.

"Ah that. I’m going to live with my brother for a while." He added with a grin. "I kind of missed his dusty old couch."

Ruth’s smiling face twitched slightly. "You do realize that students in the dorm can’t stay outside, right? I have been sighing for you very night for the past few days... you can’t stay out of campus,"

Kang who was happily rushing to the gate, paused. "Really? There is such a rule?"

"yeah..."

Zhu Kang pouted. He really didn’t want to stay in that dorm anymore. Partially because he wanted to stay with his brother, mainly because Jake was his roommate. He did not want to be close to that person.

"hmm then I’ll inform the Dorm administrator that I’m leaving."

Ruth’s face went pale. "You... your brother’s house is far!"

Aaron held his trembling hand. "What is it?"

"I heard something unbelievable......"

"Ruth... he said we used to be lovers..."

He saw Aaron’s face tense up.

"don’t freak out! I don’t think it’s possible at all. He is either using my memory loss to make me feel guilty about him... or.... him and I... it’s all in the past. I don’t care about him."

"I don’t think its possible though," Altren chimed in from behind.

"That’s what I thought too. but his expressions were too weird." He added, frowning deeply.

"don’t talk to him. don’t get close to him. I’ll take care of this issue," Aaron said with a grim look on his face.

Kang nodded worriedly. "don’t do anything to him,"

Aaron’s head snapped his way. "You care about him?"

"I thought of him as my friend till now! But now I’m not sure. Even so, I don’t want you to hurt anyone on my behalf,"

His poor assistant started to talk to him about the report on Jake.

"Scarp that! do full research on Ruth! I want you to find out every single detail about him!. everything!"

Kang glanced at his raging face with a pout. "I really don’t have feelings for him,"

"But he has feelings for you. no one is allowed to have indecent thoughts about my lover!" he snapped back. But after that, he took a deep breath and calmed himself. "I know I can be possessive and obsessive... but... I can’t help it. I love you too much. I care for you too much. I can’t bear to watch some guy stud around you,"
