The car silently drove out of the city. Lush forest spread out on both sides of the road.

Kang lowered the window, letting the fresh air in/ it was slightly cool, making him shiver, but he did not care. The fresh air really cleared up his mind. That incident was something he did not expect at all.

Treated with contempt by that waiter was okay because he too was at fault but being treated like a common whore hurt him relay bad.

He closed his eyes and laid on the window, taking in a deep breath of the fresh aroma. The trees around were not any random forest but they were all fruit trees. The road ran straight in between a beautiful orchard full of fruit trees.

Winter chill was setting in and the winter fruits were flourishing. He noticed a few red apples hanging low on the branch and some even littered on the ground uncared for.

"Kang..." Aaron called for hm.

He glanced back.

"What did that man say to you?" he asked once again.

Kang did not want to answer that but looking at Aaron’s grim face, he sighed. "He asked if I was selling my ass to you."

"You are not telling me everything," Aaron held his hand softly and gently kissed his knuckles. "What else did he say to you?"

Kang took a deep breath. He did not want to say it out loud but he did not want to hide a thing from him. "I guess that guy assumed that I was selling myself too just anyone. Told he will set me up with someone."

He took his hand back and sat there silently. They were just words but they hurt him so deeply. Even he did not expect to be hurt to this extent.

’I’m surprisingly very sensitive. Why can’t I just forget and ignore that man’s words it’s not like it was a bad thing. Aaron is rich and I am dead ass poor. Some will assume that I am selling myself. It’s not uncommon... why am I fucking upset about it still...’

"Stop! don’t hurt yourself." Aaron pulled his hand away.

Kang nodded.

"Whenever you are sad, whenever you are upset, I want you to come to me. I want you to share it with me. Do not ever keep it to yourself. Because I want to be there for you. I—I honestly do not know how to console anyone... it’s just... I don’t want you to be sad by yourself."

Aaron ran his hand through his hand in frustration. after a moment of silence, he whispered, "I have heard a hug can heal many mental wounds. So..." he parked the car nearby and opened his arms wide. "Do you want a warm hug that will chase away all of your troubles?’

Looking at this silly man, Kang couldn’t help but throw himself at him. he hugged his shoulders tightly. As he said, the warm hug really helped soothe his mind. The words that had bothered him so much did not feel that offensive.

’That waiter must have seen my face and thought, ’ah this guy is so handsome no wonder he was able to bag a guy that looks like a walking god.’ I guess that is why he thought I was selling myself. Even if I was in his position, I would have thought like that.’

A small smile crept up his lips.

Aaron gently caressed the back of his neck. Feeling the tension seep out of his lover’s small body he finally let out a sigh.

All along Kang had been silently looking out the window. His mind was preoccupied by that man’s cruel words.

His poor lover had been holding back his sadness and anger so much that his little nose had turned red. He looked adorable but the sight of him in that state really tugged at his heartstrings.

he simply just wanted to hug him close to his embrace and not let this world taint his lover with their malice.

He glanced down to notice that Kang’s legs were in an awkward position still laying on the passenger seat. He gently pulled him onto his lap and hugged him securely.
