"I will go and meet my father to inform him about you guys. Please wait for a moment. You can request anything from this man." Xie Lanying said to Bai Xifeng.

Xie Lanying and Meimei left while Bai Xifeng and Bai Tingfeng were led to the main hall by a servant.

"Sirs, please wait for a moment. I will prepare some tea and refreshment for you." The servant stated.

Bai Tingfeng looked at his sister.

"Xixi... what are you planning to do here?" Bai Tingfeng asked.

The butler smiled while opening the door for Xie Lanying. Xie Lanying entered the room. Her father, Xie Yaoting was doing his work, lifted his face from staring at the document to see the person who entered his study.

"Ying-er, what are you doing here?" Xie Yaoting asked.

"Father, I brought a pharmacist to look at Mother." Xie Lanying said.

Xie Yaoting’s expression changed.

"Are you sure that he can treat your mother?’ Xie Yaoting asked.

"I am not sure about that. But we need to keep trying." Xie Lanying said.

Xie Yaoting sighed. It was not like he did not want to treat his wife, but his hope had been crushed over and over. He did not want to feel that way over again.
